Day 72: The Finale 🌿🌟 It’s finally time. My very first grow is coming to an end—at least the cultivation phase. The plant is now ready for harvest, and I can’t believe how incredible this journey has been. I never expected to enjoy the whole process so much—from nurturing the plants to watching them grow and evolve. I’m absolutely hooked and can’t wait to dive into the next steps: harvesting, drying, curing, and of course, starting a new grow soon with fresh ideas and experiments! While it may not be the largest yield, the quality of the buds speaks for itself. The time, love, and care I’ve put into this grow is visible, and I’m pretty proud of the results. I’ll admit, I was a bit impatient at times (which I think every first-timer can relate to 😅), but the experience was priceless. Here are a few interesting highlights from my trimming and harvest process: 1️⃣ Dark Phase Before Harvest Two days before harvest, I put the plant in complete darkness to encourage resin production. I'm not sure if it really made a difference, but it was worth trying! 2️⃣ Wet Trim vs. Dry Trim I decided to go for a wet trim because the buds were really dense, and I wanted to avoid any risk of mold. I’ve read that wet trimming can speed up drying and may slightly impact the quality, but this is part of the learning experience. Next time, I’ll try a dry trim for comparison! 3️⃣ Yield Update Wet, the total came in at 97grams from my plant. Trimming took around three hours, and it was actually a lot of fun, despite the time commitment. 4️⃣ Curing Plan The buds are now hanging in the tent for about 8 days. Once dried, they’ll go into jars with Boveda Packs (62% humidity) for another 3 weeks of curing. I'll update the smoke report once they’re fully cured, but I’ve already had a sample of the same strain from a friend, and I can say it’s pretty amazing. Final Thoughts on My Grow 🌱✨ As mentioned earlier, this grow has been an absolutely incredible experience, and it has definitely set me on a path to jump right into my next grow. There were ups and downs along the way, such as over-pruning, which I believe stressed the plants a bit. Additionally, I think they could have benefited from an extra week to mature. We also faced many temperature fluctuations this summer, which impacted the plants due to external weather conditions. I'm really pleased with the quality of the buds. The quantity is okay—I can’t fully gauge it yet—but I’m sure there’s more potential to unlock. I've gained valuable experience in what worked well and what didn’t. Overall, the countless lessons learned during this grow far outweigh the few mistakes made. I'm incredibly proud of my first results! The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).

6/1 I'm anxious to get my plants in their final homes. Another 90 degree day today and then it will be cooling off with some showers. I plan to take advantage and utilize that to make the transition. I have some small burns on a couple plants bit considering the weather we've had its nothing. Temperature swings 50 degrees. I hope these girls do OK outside. I was tired and stoned last night and I accidently topped a plant I had already FIMed. Oh well. Transplants soon. Supports screwed in after the heat. Plants have been handling this weather like a champ. Big thick healthy stalks. UPDATE PUT THE PLANTS IN AROUND 730. Cutting down on light hours I'm poverty close to where we are. It was 95 today. Plants have suprisingly little burning. My fan was taken so they go without that tonight too. In the next few days it's going to cool down and that's when I'll transplant. Only thing left before transplant is sanitizing trellis and supports. Easy peezy. Especially if it's supposed to be in the 50s. And people dent climate change lol. I'm hoping that all this adversity makes my flower a higher quality. I'm glad to have the quantity to pick the best phenos for the BIG POTS. Im trying to stay excited but it's just so dumb hot. Oh well. If the plants can do it so can I. I'm planning to give them some kelp me kelp you next watering and may start some light organic nutes. 6/2 Phone doesn't like uploading my videos. Broke record high temp yesterday 95 and tomorrow we will break the record low 50. Plants withstood the heat well and are doing great. Transplant soon. They were a little light but I held off on the water. Plan on it tomorrow. May transplant tomorrow. I have several videos that haven't uploaded. I thought they did but I was wrong. Oh well. UPDATE: Forgot to water. Some were light and others could've held off. Did the half a powerade bottle ahain. A litt ke less on the heavier ones. However I'm looking to transplant into final homes tonight and into this weekend. I sanitized a fifty and a forty so my bags and two pots are sanitized. Cage is sanitized and ready and pallets are sanktized and in place. The 40 and 60 fit PERFECT in the small space left from the pallets. Plus the plants always lean the opposite direction so things should go smooth. Only thingvleft is sanitizing stakes, bamboo, plastic garden stakes and all the other plastic training stuff. I'll just soak it while I transplant. Gotta mix the soil first too though. UPDATE. Heat went higher than expected and hit 90. I figured I'd go back around three and screw in suppirt stakes and begin getting everything ready for transplant (i.e. supports, mix soil, sanitize trellis) before I transplanted tomorrow MORNING was what I had planned. Unfortunately we got a huge thunderstorm with a shot ton of rain and it's gonna continue throughout the night. I think this is God's way of telling me to take a break. I can get up early and get those support stakes screwed in. Then when I get back from the wife's doctor's I can do the transplants. I'm trying to break the labor up into manageable chunks. Looking at my other diaries I can see that my plantscare fine in their three gallon homes. It'd a little disheartening seeing such big clones that I started so much earlier on the other diaries. However I always was fighting SOMETHING (usually more than one thing) and last year was a shit show. At least this year I stay away from anyone else's cannabis any clones and I'm extremely cautious. On the way to my grow at 6am it was 44 degrees and it's not warming up much. Fifties at best. Rainy. I left the door closed. The big door on the otherside got opened as the other end of the garage neededcto he used. If the rain let's up I'm going to set up the grade stakes so I can transplant in the morning and throughout the day. I think I'm going to light dep a couple of them and leave them in the 3's. We'll see. UPDATE: At 12:30 the temp today was 44. Yesterday it was 94. I can't believe this. Plants are doing great though and are in the garage under lights for the day. The BIG door was open part of the day. Didn't take any pictures (or even enter the grow area) as I sanitized the last 40 gallon pot and a bunch of grade stakes. I drilled the grade stakes to the pallets in the front. The first row is done. Just need to sanitize the plastic trellis itself and finish attaching the other grade stakes. I don't need the fill trellis up by transplant. I just need the bags to not knock over and have SOME support. 2nd week complete! Its growing day to day, with noticeable changes. Im waiting one more week before I switch to 12-12 and change it to the 12L container. I've been watering every 2 days, about 50 ml each time I water. One feed, one water, thats the schedule. I noticed that there are a lot of bud sites developing in the branch formation, so excited!! 👻

It was a very nice week. She is growing fast and loves low stress training. There are still little flies but they are not a danger for the plant. No problems, no deficiency, only pleasure. Coco is ready for flowering stage 💪💪💪

This is a clone only strain I have been running for a little while and it never disappoints! Dense buds that stink the whole place up with its earthy, pungent, sweet smell. Not a huge yielder but it makes up for it in resin production. Probably not a good strain for First time growers as it needs topped, trained, and trellised. Overall happy with the way this run turned out lots of main buds, I ended up with 316.3 grams of trimmed nice frosty buds. I also took the rest of the buds (when they were wet)and put them in the freezer for some ff bubble hash. I ended up with 433.7 grams of wet fresh frozen material.

Day 64: Started flushing the girls today. Got All milky and starting to go amber. Day 65: Still flushing. The girls smell amazing. I have one in the bunch that is SUPER airy and I am just not sure what is going on with her. It's the girl that I accidently broke off the main cola a while back. Not sure if that has anything to do with it or not. Day 66: No new updates. Cut one of the colas off for a taste test and trial run on drying as this is my first go. Figure if I can dry this super dense beauty with no issue, I will be able to dry the rest. Have it hung up in the spare bathroom. Stays roughly 71° in our house and I'd say roughly 40%ish humidity. Day 67: Girls are smelling really nice! I keep looking at trich's and looks like no change. They are all cloudy and only a few amber from what I see. Still new to it so no tellin! Day 68: No updates. Day 69: Girls still looking good. My bud is still drying and looking super hideous. I feel it is drying slow enough but sure doesn't look or feel dense as it did when cut. Will know in several days to come when fully dry. Day 70: Girls smell dank and look the same! No new updates at this time.

Zdar Bando . Začínám 6 týden a holky nabírají hezký na objemu. Hnojím podle deníku 2ml/l od všeho a myslím si že už je to na hraně. Všechny dostávají stejně 3l akorát jedné se něco nezdá. Možná už je na ní moc hnojiva. O proti těm dvoum je pozadu a má menší paličky, při další zálivce změřím ec a uvidím, jestli bude velký rozdíl tak uberu něco na 1ml/l. Už se těším na výsledek 😁. I had a problem with the water pump connection and i think it hasn't watered in two or three days, so a marks appeared at some leaves (calmag deficency i guess). Now that the problem is solved it won't be worse. The flowering is really nice, its starting to appear the darker color at buds

I still had some spots on leaves, but look like the calmag is doing the job. New leaves look better for now. It smell stronger, and plants are drinking a bit more now. Not sure, but i think no more than 3 weeks b4 harvesting HulkBerry 1 and the cookies gelato familly. Royal Bluematic 1 seems to take more time, but is growing well. HulkBerry 2 and mostly Royal Bluematic 2 are really late and weak compared to the others.

This lovely lady is on the mend from a little bit of light burn. Adjusted the light with my digital watt meter (easily picked up off Amazon for 20$ ) and she is bouncing back. RH has been steady at 65% this week with temps hitting 78-79 degrees before my in-line fan takes care of it. Increased watering amount to about 350 ml per feed, while also adding 1 more ml of the Sensi cal mag to the mix. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Day 42. Frost levels have turned up. Smells as well. Slowly swelling. Hit them with a small dose of bud booster and sticky bandit. Probably the last will be this week before I let them finish out. Hairs are turning orange but still some white hairs.

12/18 4am CANNAKAN!!!! Giving my FAST Flowers a try. A late spring early summer grow. CannaKan is my new best friend, I had a 100 per cent success rate last time!!! Ok I got it all done at 5:30 am, I set the Temp to 88 MPH or the Time Machine wont work, EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT! Marty will meet me in the parking lot at the mall, I have a great feeling about this. 11am Room temperature is 73. Heating Pad set to 88. Water temp 77.7 PERFECT!! 2:30pm blue dream is already starting to open. I think Tropicana cookies looks like she’s opening a little bit. They should all be open by tomorrow. It’s only been about nine hours.👍👍. 11:30pm They all opened. I drained the water put in new distilled water, made sure water level was right. Looks great!!!! 12/19 4am The temp looks good, all are opening nicely. I have to get the pots ready now, put on new stickers, they help identify the plants from different angles, especially in photos. Im doing a low power fast turn around grow in easy to move 1 gallon pots. They will all be topped above the 3rd node, then the bottom or 2nd to the bottom branches will be cut off to achieve a 4 cola grow. Micro-surgery on TC got the skin off and she popped right open!! 12:30pm SUCCESS!!! 4 hours later, she's PERFECT, worked GREAT!!! I NEVER thought I would be able to do seed surgery. That was my 3rd time doing that, success every single time! 4pm looks good. 12/22 9am. all look great, GS is taking off VERY strong overnight, TC has taken root her main stalk is already thick!! BD #2 is almost ready. I kept BD#1 underwater too long...then I accidentally ripped her head off this morning......so really not my fault......shhhhh..... 1 pm BD looks perfect 🤩 almost ready. 330pm Did the transplant...I really need to work on that....so nervous when I do it. Im not paid for this but CannaKan is one of the best products Ive ever used. I need lots of practice planting the radicles ...""In botany, the radicle is the first part of a seedling (a growing plant embryo) to emerge from the seed during the process of germination. The radicle is the embryonic root of the plant, and grows downward in the soil (the shoot emerges from the plumule)""..... I had to look radicle up... It makes a complete difference, I dont lose seeds now It just a million times easier using CannaKan.
