********** Week 2 of flower, Days 8 to 14 - Sept 26 to Oct 2/20 *********** It has been an exciting week with finding a crack in a main stem and started plus we added new supplemental nutrients to the feed as well. These girls are starting to push out some frost now as well. Overall, they are a little more squat than the other girls in the same tent but these girls are looking awesome. Buds are setting and starting to stack more as well😃 Pretty solid growth and bud sites for week 2 flower. Her leaf tips have been up and she is happy........she is happy all the time other than the first half hour of waking up😃👍 Very nice little girls to grow so far. The branching is certainly a little more lateral/horizontal than other strains I have grown. Could be that I was a little more aggressive with topping and tying down and they simply didn’t need it. She is not a long lanky strain and is making nice little bush shapes. She won’t have many colas but should be thick guys. C471 should be fewer and thicker while C472 will have a couple more colas but likely the main ones won’t be as thick as C471.......time will tell🧐 On Sept 28 I found a crack and had to do some repairs. Cream 471 was worse off the Gorilla Girl 4 with her cracked stem. GG4 was caught early enough that she didn’t separate much at the base. Looks to be as though I have caused the issue by topping the main stem a little too low😢 Coming back though now and when she was tied together and looked after she is bouncing back, its crazy how these plants can heal themselves😀💪👍 Took the tips from fellow growers and decided to try and fabric something with some cushion so that the straps holding the branches together don't cut into the branches. Needed another tool of the trade.......DYNAVAP to calm the nerves😀 because the grow has been going well and this set back has me pissed off as it is grower error😡 Seems to have worked out pretty well though and will keep our fingers crossed that the end result will be a frostier girl👊🤞 Switching the PK booster at the end of the week to Big Bud and started to add Rezin from Green Planet. Not much for Bud Factor X left so will run with Terpinator and Rezin as a replcement. 2nd layer of SCROG netting added early in the week, Sept 27/20. They are pushing out a good amount of leaves now and stretching so need to provide that added support for down the road. IPM spray again this week, last opportunity, with Plant Therapy. There has been something in the tent and I think I have killed them. One more shot though to make sure and before there are too many bud sites. Love this product!!!!!! Works so well at getting rid of thrips and mites. Little more detail........ Sept 26/20, Day 8 - Little heavier feed as they have not been watered for two days - 4L - CalMag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml - 830ppm and 5.7pH - will start to let the pH rise bit now over next couple of weeks Sept 27/20, Day 9 - 2nd SCROG layer added. Sept 28/20, Day 10 - more microbes today - 4 L - Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, CalMag @ 1ml - 290ppm and 6.3pH - pH was a little high but left it...wasn't moving and then boom,,,,,,,oh well. - Good amount of runoff today. Sept 30/20, Day 12 - Heavier feeding today - 5L - CalMag, Vitathrive, Rezin @ 2ml Rhino Skin, Bud Candy, B52, Sensi Bloom @ 1ml. - repaired the cracked stem a little better tonight......was not sure how this girl will work out. Crack is fairly substantial. - Try and keep the paper towels wet now so the humidity is high around the wound. - Should have left a little more branch from the node above when cutting the top. Oct 1/20, Day 13 - Switching PK booster today to Big Bud......these two girls are past bud ignitor.....already stacking. - 3L - CalMag, Sensi Bloom, B52, Bud Candy, Big Bud @ 1ml - 665ppm and 5.9pH - IPM spray tonight again with Plant Therapy. Think I have seen some bug damage on Cream 47 girls. That takes us to the end of week 11 in growth and week 2 of flower. Time will go quick now that we are off and running. Will be done feeding by early week 7. Want a good flush and leeching on these girls to get all the nutes out. I have been missing it by a few days on the last few auto runs and want this photo run to be better as I have a better track of weeks and when she will be done..........should be done by the end of week 9, about 7 more weeks. Got a BIG 4' plant from only super soil in a 5-gallon fabric pot. Tons of resin. Very impressed with these automatic genetics from Pride of the Lion Seeds... and I'll definitely be growing another one of them in the spring.

This lady continues to hulk out. As she gained 8 inches extending her bulky frame. Super strong and hardy genetics that's for sure. Those leaves fam!!! Like baseball gloves its just amazing. I had to super crop some of her side branches. Plus her main for the third time SMH. Nothing like stressing the bitch out eh... This time will be the last as I throew on a tie to lock it in place. Should've been done from the beginning. Shes just starting the fourth week of flowering and she's already well developed. Even the fan leaves are getting sugar coated. As trichome production starts to rev up. Bud sites are beefing up. I already know I'm in for some cannon buds. Muhahahaha. Treated her with Dr zhymes as a preventative. I also upped her pk intake. Esta semana conforme realicé el trasplante retiraré un ejemplar que me sobra. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. 🌱 Day 50 - First Day of Week 8 🌱 Hello, Grow Friends! My plant is doing well, and it’s amazing to see visible progress every few hours. 🌱✨ The buds are in full throttle, and I feel like the plant is now needing more water as the pots are drying out faster. 💧 Watering: I’m still watering with 1L every two days. 💦 The dosage of BioBizz Grow and BioBizz Bloom has been increased according to the BioBizz feeding schedule. The pH of the water remains constant at 6.0. ⚖️💧 Temperature & Humidity: Luckily, the weather in Germany is cooling down, so I no longer have to deal with temperatures of up to 30°C in the tent. 🌡️🍂 I’m expecting temperatures to settle between 18-23°C now that we’re in September, and humidity should stabilize around 50-55%. This will create perfect conditions for the upcoming drying process. 🍃✨ Plant Health: The plant is looking good overall. 🌿 I did have some calcium and magnesium deficiency symptoms recently, but I’ve managed to get that under control with CalMag. 💪 I’m continuing to carefully remove any leaves that are noticeably blocking light to the buds and hindering photosynthesis. 🍃✂️ Vibes: Every day, my plant still enjoys an hour of Lo-fi Jazz music. 🎶🌱 I think it helps set the perfect growing atmosphere. 🎷 I’ll keep you all posted, and remember, I upload new pictures to the diary every day! 📸🌿 Stay tuned!

Little summary of the last 2-3 weeks of Flower. Total off 70 days of 12/12 light cycle and 48H darkness.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. Hello Growmies, Week four of vegetation for our Epic Buzz by Anesia has been marked by remarkable progress and environmental optimization. The uniform growth has continued, with each plant reaching a robust 20 cm in their spacious 12.5-liter air-pots, signaling a very successful vegetative phase. The integration of the heater and humidifier into the tent's system has been a game-changer, allowing for precise control of the growing conditions. The environmental graphs are showing admirable consistency in temperature and humidity, which is key to maintaining an ideal VPD level for the plants, ensuring optimal transpiration and nutrient uptake. The Photone app indicates that the light intensity is within the ideal range for this stage, with readings of 150-180 PPFD. The lights, dialed down to 25%, along with the strategic use of IR lighting for 30 minutes at the transitions of the day, support the natural growth cycles of the plants. Concurrently, the UV lighting's midday cameo for 30 minutes is a masterful touch, potentially enhancing plant resilience and future resin production. Once the connectivity issues are ironed out, the Mars Hydro inline fan will be operational, enhancing nighttime dehumidification, a critical aspect of maintaining plant health by preventing excess moisture and the issues it can bring. This will round out the environmental controls, making them as meticulous during the night as they are throughout the day. 10/24/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 1L, 1 x 0.8L — 3L - VPD @ 1.0 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 70% ~580 to 720 PPFD - Defoliation - Nutrients increased and added: BioBizz Top-Max and Bio-Bloom - No Root-Juice anymore --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don’t know what happened, but my pictures are not very good this week. It’s probably time to buy a good camera, maybe a used one with a decent lens. I defoliated the Lemon Cherry Cookies this week. I had to remove some leaves so that the branches and their tops could get direct light. But honestly, she looked pretty bad afterward. I really don’t like cutting off branches or leaves; it hurts me to see them like that. Sadly, I accidentally cut one of the better branches in half, which was really devastating. On that occasion, I also did a bit more LST, but that was the only session this week. There probably won’t be much more LST to do in the upcoming weeks. I increased the light intensity and also upped the nutrients. The LCC (short for Lemon Cherry Cookies) is the smallest plant in the tent and has fewer branches than the others. She also doesn’t use much water. But it was incredible to see how fast she went into flower, it basically happened from one day to the next. Her buds are the biggest and prettiest in the tent. Because she was the smallest plant, I put something under her pot on Day 28 to ensure she had the same distance to the light as the other two plants.
