8/17 Watered everything but the 50. Found two leaves with sep markings on the pink kish in the 50. Definitely not using old soil again. I'm pretty sure THIS plant contracted it from the soil and not the way the others did with the lawn mower and birdseed hijinx. It's supposed to rain for the first time basically all summer. It's am 80% chance so I HELD OFF ON PLANT DOCTOR AND DID NOT APPLY as I'm supposed to have a clear day after. I'll apply the plant doctor in the morning. I'm hoping this rain will knock down a bunch of those thrips. They seem to be on a small branch on a plant or two. One or two leaves show damage and I'll pick them off. I figure I'll get them after I apply plant doctor. I'll use either citric acid or just my regular bt-k pillar treatment with Castille or liquid soap. That will kill them as well. I'm on really worried about it. I also might just buy a bunch of lady bugs and unleash them once things get further along. EDIT: TOOK A QUICK VIDEO AND A COUPLE PICS. HOPEFULLY WE GET THIS RAIN. THANKS. 8/18 We got the rain we were expecting. It was sheet rain for a few hourscand rained during the night. Everything was drenched and it was cold (50°F). I shook off the special kush that's way further in flower. I decided to use the leafblowrr despite the risk of spreading anything. I did it so that it wasn't ever blowing TOWARDS another plant but still. I was hoping it might blast off some thrips that might have survived that torrential rain. We've never had a dry summer like this. I'll moniter things. My water day is tomorrow so I assume that's when the girls will get their plant doctor dose. It's a great time of year for cannabis growers. We get to watch all the hard work we've put in literally pay off. It's very peaceful in the garden. EDIT: Went over at about one to check things out and do some minor defoliation. I checked on the thrip situation and I dont know if I blasted them off with the leafblower or if the rain washed them away bit I doubt it. Ivecmade the decision to treat these little bastards. It's on one plant but it's started to spread to another branch on another plant. I probably just overlooked it but still. Seeing that it rained like he'll and I'm seeing like zero signs of septoria I'm going to treat everything. At least I think I am. I haven't decided what to use. Hopefully that will help with the thrips. I was hurried and since today tops at 72° I only watered the 10th planet big mk ultra and the chem dog with preventative plant doctor. I'm not seeing hardly any septoria and if I do itsca random leaf. I mixed up 3tsp of citric acid and some Dawn in a 2 quart hand sprayer and treated the 10th planet that I thought had heat stress and the Pink kush in the ten gal that has the damage. I also treated a branch on my good tenth planet. It was the only branch with markings so I think I've got it early enough. I'm just wondering the best way to tackle this. The pink kush I'm sure, could handle spinosad. That strain is much later flowering. I'll see how the citriccacid works and go from there. If the other girls need water they'll get it when I get home alongcwith plant doctor. I've got some work to do. I'll keep this updated. Opinions are always welcome. First time I've fought this and it seems most people don't really know what to do besides predators at the beginning of the season. I'm too far along for spinosad. At least thats what I've been told. My pro buddy said to try to spot treat it. It's not bad bit I'm afraid it might be worse than I think. The plants I treated with citric acid look MUCH better. I think I'll dial the dosage of citric acid down and start with that tonight and switch up treatments. I can get rid of them it's just going to take a ton of work. I think I've had them before and I attributed to something else. I so think that the very early pink kush plants could handle spinosad. I hope so. The plants I watered the other day look overwatered. The plants I didn't water look GREAT. The special kush in late flower looks happier than I've ever seen her. The difference being we went from 104° one day to 72 the next with 46° night Temps. This week is highs of 70's lows of high 40°'s. I've got a lot of work cut out for me. Didn't do a video as I didn't have time but I'll do one. It was low 40's when I went to the garden. I watered the special kush in late flower and the mk ultra I kept natural. Did some defoliation. Found little feather on a large branch. Birds have been helping with pillars. I left out the plant doctor on those watering as septoria has pretty much been eradicated. Plants are drinking significantly less water. It went from 104° day time to 72°. Same with the nighttime Temps. Luckily with Temps like this the thrips don't seem to have spread. I found a couple lacewi g eggs while looking for pillars. Hopfully they will help. Maybe spot treatment and decoliation will he enough. I'll update as I go. EDIT: Went back over around noon and put up blue sticky traps and did some defoliation. I may go back tonight and treat some stuff. Not sure yet. 8/22 This is the last of the cold weather. At least for a week. It will be like 70s today but temps WILL go up so I need to figure out what to do about these thripsxandcstick to it. Doesn't look like it's spreading but I've seen adults now. The sticky traps caught one. I killed one but I'm seeing lots of yellowing leaves. I know they are flowering but still. I watered today butvi watered much less. I gave the two kush invthe back a half gallon each. I gave the special kush in the 10 half a gallon, the mk ultra 1 gal, 10th planet's both got half a gallon I think but I mightve given the big one a whole gallon and chem dog got a half gallon. Once Temps stabilize watering will be more consistent. I need to factor in the change since they are floweringcas well. I've seen some enormous locusts that I've chased away. I don't SEE the thrips but they are there. I killed ONE adult this morning. I haven't seen any sep leaves in a while so that's a bonus. Pink kush is far behind the rest in flower.

She has slowed right down and isn't packing on much weight. And possibly started to hermie :( got most of them out and no other plants in the room so no worries about pollination. Got to say I'm a little disappointed but I'll be flushing tomorrow and maybe one more flush next week so hopefully all isn't lost

Took her down on day 69 of flower. Her fan leaves were faded purple and she shows a lot of purple in the calyxs on the stalks and in the nugs. Just a beautiful strain. And the small is amazing. The best smelling harvest I've had. And the stickiest. If you want to grow automatic cannabis. You should try Mephisto Genetics.00

White hairs are growing. I see at least 10 bud sites. Had issues with thrips, but used diatomaceous earth to get rid of them.

We made it to flower, fam — even though the plants almost died along the way 😅. But the train is rolling now. I’m still tucking branches under the net to keep the canopy even, and I’ve started giving mild feeds again. The plants started to look a bit limey in colour, which made me ease back into feeding carefully. I’ve begun adding nutrients again in small amounts to see how they respond while keeping watering consistent so the roots can take things up properly. Bonjour à tous les padawans et les maîtres jedis Jour42 ma plante entre bien en floraison je pratique sur elle une defolliation pour permettre aux têtes de prendre la lumière La floraison des plantes de cannabis La plante de cannabis passe par différentes étapes de vie avant de parvenir à la récolte. Ces étapes sont : la germination, la pré-croissance, la croissance et la floraison. Pour les autofloraisons il n'est pas nécessaire d'avoir de changer le cycle de lumière elle entre en floraison automatiquement voilà d'où elle tient son nom "d'autofloraison" L'origine de l'auto-floraison vient de la sous-espèce "cannabis sativa ruderalis" , qui à l'origine produit de très faibles niveaux de THC. C'est en croisant cette variété de marijuana avec d'autres qui produisent des niveaux de THC plus élevés qu'à vu le jour ce magnifique compromis que sont les variétés auto-fleurissantes avec des taux de THC très satisfaisants. En parallèle, cela a permis d'améliorer la production de ces variétés, qui initialement étaient exceptionnellement basse. Pour des résultats optimaux, en culture Outdoor (extérieur), je recommande que la germination des graines de marijuanaAuto-flo se fasse entre avril et août. En culture Indoor(intérieur), la photopériode idéale que ce soit pour la croissance comme pour la floraison est de 20h de lumière. N'oubliez pas que ces graines ne sont pas tributaires de la photopériode pour passer en floraison. LES CULTIVATEURS AMATEURS, PRENEZ GARDE, MAIS NE PRENEZ PAS PEUR La défoliation consiste à retirer les feuilles des plants de cannabis en intérieur afin d'accroître le rendementfinal. Le cultivateur amateur doit faire preuve de vigilance lorsqu'il commence à appliquer cette technique de taille. Malgré le débat sans fin entre ceux qui prônent cette technique et ceux qui la dénigre, il n'y aucune raison pour qu'un amateur ne s'y essaie pas afin de voir si ça lui convient ou non. COMMENT DÉFOLIER Que vous tailliez les feuilles ou les branches des plants de cannabis, il vaut mieux utiliser un sécateur stérile qui est confortable en main. Arracher des feuilles à la main manque de finesse et engendre souvent par accident, l'arrachement des couches d'une tige en plus de la feuille. L'objectif principal de la défoliation est de permettre une meilleure pénétration de la lumière et de promouvoir la production de plus grosses têtes. Les feuilles éventails qui font de l'ombre doivent être retirées. Tailler la tige principale et/ou les pousses secondaires n'est pas de la défoliation. La règle d'or lorsque vous donnez à vos plantes un rafraîchissement est de commencer avec les feuilles nourricières les plus grandes et les plus larges, en taillant du bas vers le haut. Il est important de retirer les feuilles stratégiquement et non pas au hasard. Pensez également qu'il vous faut limiter votre rafraîchissement à approximativement 10 à 20 % des feuilles totales de votre pied. Il est très facile de s'emporter durant la taille et de se retrouver avec des plantes chauves. Un excès de taille de feuilles empêchera la photosynthèse et paralysera vos plants. QUAND FAUT-IL DÉFOLIER Il est assez rare d'appliquer la défoliation comme seule technique pour obtenir un fort rendement. La taille des feuilles est généralement associée à d'autres méthodes de tailles et de palissage pour un meilleur rendement telles que le topping ou étêtage, le FIMming, le LST, le manifolding, le supercropping et le ScrOG. Les cultivateurs utilisant la méthode ScrOG auront besoin de retirer toutes les croissances inférieures ainsi que les feuilles et les tiges se trouvant sous le filet. Les plants de cannabis peuvent être défoliés dès lors qu'ils sont passés de la phase de plantule vers la phase de croissance végétative. Cependant, il est recommandé aux cultivateurs amateurs de laisser aux plantes 1 à 2 semaines de croissance végétative avant de s'attaquer à la défoliation de celles-ci. De plus, certaines variétés sont plus sensibles à la taille que d'autres et de ce fait, seront plus stressées par la taille des feuilles. Surveillez minutieusement le comportement de vos plants après la taille. Une période de convalescence de minimum 3 à 7 jours avant de recommencer la défoliation est fortement recommandée pour éviter trop de stress aux plants. Les cultivateurs peuvent également défolier pendant la phase de floraison, ce qui permettra à l'énergie de la plante d'être concentrée vers la production de têtes tout en limitant l'ombre et l'excès d'humidité. Néanmoins, il est important de ne pas défolier trop tard sous peine de simplement blesser ses plants inutilement. LES AVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Évidemment, l'avantage numéro un de la défoliation, c'est l'augmentation du potentiel de rendement de cette technique de taille pour tous types de cannabis allant de la photopériode aux variétés autofloraison. Ce n'est pas un secret que les fleurs qui reçoivent plus de lumières deviennent plus grandes et larges que celles dissimulées dans l'ombre des feuilles. De plus, retirer les feuilles intérieures des plants touffus aide à prévenir toutes menaces de moisissure. Les plants très feuillus avec un feuillage intérieur dense produiront une quantité importante de têtes pop-corn. Dans le pire des cas, les branches de têtes et les têtes qui sont denses succomberont au pourrissement. Si vous observez des gouttes d'eau se former sur la surface des feuilles, il est grand temps de penser à faire de la défoliation. Libérer la zone inférieure et médiane des feuilles est un excellent moyen d'améliorer la circulation de l'air. LES DÉSAVANTAGES DE LA DÉFOLIATION Les plants de cannabis en intérieur bénéficient de la défoliation pour deux raisons. La première est parce qu'ils reçoivent la lumière d'une source stationnaire au-dessus d'eux, et la deuxième est parce que les conditions environnementales sont contrôlées par le cultivateur et non Mère Nature. Les plants d'extérieurs eux, n'y gagnent pas beaucoup, car les cas échéants se vérifient pour eux. Le soleil traverse le ciel, illuminant sur sa route, différentes portions de la plante de son lever à son coucher. Les cultivateurs en extérieur n'ont pas besoin de manipuler les plantes afin qu'elles se développent en adoptant une structure plate puisque le soleil est infiniment plus puissant que n'importe quelle lampe de culture et qui plus est, il est toujours en mouvement. Tailler les feuilles des plants extérieurs les rend également plus vulnérables aux conditions humides et brise leurs barrières naturelles contres les nuisibles. De nombreux cultivateurs d'intérieur peuvent, et malheureusement, c'est souvent le cas, réduire le rendement final à cause d'une défoliation faite au mauvais moment et/ou excessive. Tailler les plantules n'est pas conseillé et engendre souvent des plants nains. Scalper les plants matures est encore pire, et au lieu d'obtenir de longues branches de têtes, vous obtiendrez probablement encore moins de fleurs. De même, tailler des plants malades ou en mauvaise santé à n'importe quelle période de la croissance risque de paralyser la croissance plutôt que d'encourager la formation de fleurs denses. 🌱 Day 43 - Beginning of the Third Flowering Week 🌱 Hello grow friends! 🌿 Today marks the start of the third week of the flowering phase. This week, I’m trying to adjust my nutrients a bit. I plan to slightly increase BioBizz Grow, as well as BioBizz Bloom, according to the feeding schedule. 🌱💧 I’m continuing to prune and thin out the plants a little each day, aiming to keep them stress-free. ✂️😊 The terpenes and buds are developing wonderfully so far, but I’m still struggling with very high humidity levels. 🌡️💦 Since my grow setup is on the second floor and we’re currently experiencing humid temperatures here in Germany, it’s been a challenge. I’m trying to reduce the humidity from 62% down to 50% during the day, but it’s proving difficult. 🌬️📉 I’ll keep you updated on how things progress! 🌿✨ 🌱 Day 47 - Everything is Going Well 🌱 Watering and Nutrients Today, I watered and fed the plant again. 🌿💧 Each plant received 1 liter, which is about 10% of the pot's volume. The plant is responding well to the nutrients, and growth is steady. Defoliation and Light Exposure I’ve done some light defoliation to ensure that every part of the plant gets proper light exposure. ✂️💡 My goal is to avoid any shadowed areas, allowing the buds to develop fully. Temperature Management The temperature is still quite high, reaching 27-28°C during the day. 🌡️🔥 I’m finding it difficult to bring it down, but the plant seems to be handling it well. To maintain a healthy environment, I keep both the fan and the exhaust system running on the highest setting, ensuring good air circulation. 🌬️🔄 Humidity Control Currently, the humidity is sitting at around 45-50%. 💧 It’s not perfect, but I’m monitoring the plant closely and making adjustments as needed. Careful Defoliation I continue to remove one or two leaves each day to minimize stress on the plant. 🍃🌿 This slow, careful defoliation ensures that the plant stays healthy while making sure all buds have access to light. Guard Dogs on Duty My dogs took a peek into the grow tent today and are now keeping a watchful eye over the plant. 🐕🌱 They’re doing a great job of “guarding” it! 🐾 I hope you enjoyed this update! Going a bit slow but nice;)))))

This week we are only in cruise control, we did the last irrigation with fertilizers and we are planning the flushing for the next week. We also had problems with humidity due to the weather. We don't have a dehumidifier, so we try other homemade techniques to solve the situation. The flowers have gained some weight and are changing the smell. We are excited for the harvest.

13/12 in week 5 i started by adjusting LST mainly on the Blueberry a bit since she was getting real bushy. I will probably defoliate at least the first pair of leaves. the others i try tucking away but they keep overshadowing the two lower main nodes. Blueberry really started drinking now, her pot is getting really light. Afghan kush not so much, she is still sipping on the last watering. I hope Afghan Kush ramps up overnight by some miracle cause i really like to always water them both at the same time, rather than having to prepare nutes twice and them being on a different watering schedule. but oh well! Blueberry will get her dose tomorrow, we will se about the afghan. Not much happened until now, they slowly begin their stretch now. maybe we will see some proper early flowers by the end of this week! Judging by their grow rate, im guessing they will take their sweet time, 12-14 weeks or something. Which sucks cause i got brand new air pots i want to try! but you cant win every gamble with autos. 14/12 Watered them with 2 Liters after 7 Day Break. Blueberry picked up the pace, Afghan was "dry enough". Ususal nutrients, added some minor calmag as prevention for any future deficiencies. 18/12 Watered Blueberry with 2L, 2ml/l Grow, Activera and Rootjuice, and 0.2g/l Microbes. Defoliated both of them pretty good. Afghan is skipping watering until 20/12, which will be week 6, she is still a tad too heavy for my likings. 19/12 just some minor leaf tucking and defoliation of the lowest leaves on the afghan. Watering will still take place on 20/12. Will add timelapse for this week tomorrow!

I am impressed with the result, and I don't really believe that I will ever be able to improve it :) It was a truly amazing journey with FastBuds Gorilla cookies auto, my house is filled with a wonderful sweet smell, the buds look really full and very very shiny :) I also collected a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) the girl coped with high temperatures and high humidity throughout her growth, which is why I was afraid of rot, but everything went well!!!! She is amazing. smoke review and dry weight will be up very soon, good luck to everyone :)!!!
