The growth and appetite of these two plants has increased proportional to the airflow increase. The BHB is drinking 4 liters a day, the CBD, 2 liters. Every second day is a feeding. EC drops by approximately 2-3 points every 48 hours. PH rises from 5.5 to 5.8-5.9 every 24-48 hours. CBD's issue was Magnesium. Added Epsom salts to the res and issue is no more. Both plants are stacking very well and the CBD has now caughtup to the BHB's height. CBD is at 66 cm while the BHB holds steady at 70.

This was a lot bigger grow than I had expected, in a good way. 45 gallon pots were a good choice. Next year I’m definitely doing better on trellis and supports, that’s where I definitely failed for this one. I definitely have enough weed to last me till next outdoor season. After 84 days from sprout and 55 days of flowering, Budshot Betty reached her perfect harvest window. During the last week the trichomes shifted from mostly milky to around 10–15% amber, exactly the ripeness I was aiming for with this phenotype. The purple fade intensified, the buds swelled even further, and the terp profile became noticeably stronger and sweeter. To ensure the cleanest possible smoke, she received only pH-adjusted water in the final days: • 3 L (pH 6.32 / EC 280) • 2.3 L (pH 6.35 / EC 123) • 2 L (pH 6.37 / EC 115 – final watering) For the last 3 days I reduced the light intensity to 65 W, helping her finish without stress or foxtailing. Before chopping, she spent 19 hours in complete darkness, which helped tighten the resins and deepen the terpene expression. On harvest day she carried dense, resin-heavy flowers with a sticky crystal layer and a beautiful mix of green and purple tones. Structure stayed open enough for excellent airflow thanks to the SCROG, and her classic AK-47 punch is definitely present in both smell and trichome density. Budshot Betty is now drying in DryFerm bags, and the aroma already suggests a strong, spicy-sweet profile typical for AK-47 XL lines. Overall: A very satisfying run with a resilient plant that handled training, SCROG and minor salt issues extremely well and finished right on schedule. Drying phase now in progress – curing comes next!

. 🌱 Tag 28 - Eine Woche, die sich endlich wie Routine anfühlt Seit dem letzten Update ist eine Woche vergangen und trotz kleiner Unruhe in den letzten Durchgängen hat sich das Setup diesmal deutlich stabilisiert. Kein pH-Chaos, keine Mischfehler im Tank, einfach konstante Versorgung und gleichmäßiges Wachstum. Wir merken deutlich, dass sich unser Wachstum gerade verändert. Es geht nicht mehr nur darum, größer zu werden, sondern darum, Struktur aufzubauen. Die ersten Anzeichen der Blütephase sind da und der ganze Rhythmus verschiebt sich langsam in diese Richtung. Noch ist es kein kompletter Wechsel, eher ein Übergangszustand. Aber wir arbeiten sichtbar anders weiter als noch vor einer Woche. Wir wachsen weiterhin gleichmäßig und ohne Stresssignale. Die Blätter werden dichter, die Struktur klarer und intern passiert deutlich mehr, als man von außen direkt sieht. Diese Phase fühlt sich ein bisschen so an, als würden wir uns neu sortieren, bevor es richtig losgeht. Das Wasser und die Nährlösung passen aktuell gut zu uns. Der pH wird konsequent auf 5,7 eingestellt und driftet über ein bis zwei Tage auf etwa 6,3, wo er sich dann stabilisiert. EC liegt konstant im Bereich 1,6–1,8. Bisher kommen wir damit sehr gut klar und zeigen keine negativen Reaktionen. 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche war unangenehm unspektakulär. Ich hab mittlerweile den Dreh mit dem Wasser wirklich raus. pH-Management läuft inzwischen bewusst und reproduzierbar, nicht mehr nach Gefühl und Hoffnung. Die anfänglichen Probleme durch Hydrogencarbonate im Leitungswasser sind jetzt eingeplant statt überraschend. Wichtigste Erkenntnis der letzten Tage: Wenn man den pH sauber auf 5,7 einstellt und die EC-Spanne 1,6–1,8 hält, ist das System deutlich weniger anfällig. Der leichte pH-Anstieg über 1–2 Tage auf ~6,3 ist inzwischen kein Problem mehr, sondern einfach ein bekanntes Verhalten des Systems. Nichts, was Panik auslöst. Eher so ein: „Ja gut, du bist halt so“-Moment gegenüber dem Wasser. Und das eigentlich Beste: Die Pflanzen reagieren darauf bisher stabil und ohne Beschwerden.

This strain by crop king seeds has impressed me with its toughness. Being my first grow ever I made some mistakes along the way but the girls seemed to get through it all and grow well. In the end I am fortunate for them to provide me with more than enough bud to get me through the year if it all dries and cures properly. The past week after harvest has been cold and humid. I tried everything I could given my resources to dry it in my shed but weather of 1-10 Celsius. Rain high humidity and even hail storm one night has been hard on the drying process. Now jarred a little early to try to help with continuous burping of lids. I will submit a better review of how they turned out once dried and cured. Also will submit a dried weight I had an ounce of this exact strain given to me this past year for health reasons and that is what inspired me to track down these seeds and grow my own because I enjoyed it so much. Anyways hope for me it all turns out well
