Hi Gromie's all going good, continue H.S.T training, nice flat canopy. Also started some new clones, experimenting took 2 & 3 branch cuttings instead of single stem, so first topping will give 4 & 6 branches. Veg tent set up. Daisy chained recirculating hydro (4) at back & up to 6 DWC pots in front. Lined pots with insulated mylar, has reduced temps around 5°c. Making D.I.Y. DWC system for .

🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 10 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) The comeback story. ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — The “Unhappy Girl” That Didn’t Quit This Sour Diesel started as the most challenged plant in the room. Slow growth, stress signals early on, and clearly behind her sisters. But plants don’t quit — they adapt. She stayed smaller (~60 cm), but instead of stretching for size, she focused on recovery and survival. And now, in Week 5 of flower, we’re seeing something special: 👉 A full metabolic comeback 👉 Active water uptake (~1.2L/day) 👉 Healthy flower development despite early setbacks This is why we document everything — not just perfection, but resilience. 🔬 Macro World — What We’re Really Seeing This week, we zoom in — literally. Macro photography shows us what the eye misses: ✨ Trichomes (The Frost Begins) • Tiny resin glands forming on sugar leaves and calyxes • At this stage: mostly clear → early cloudy • Function: • UV protection • Pest defense • Secondary metabolite production (terpenes, cannabinoids) 👉 This is the plant saying: “I’m protecting my flowers now.” ⸻ 🌸 Calyxes (The Core of the Flower) • The actual reproductive structure • Each calyx = potential seed site (if pollinated) • Now stacking and swelling slowly 👉 This is where your final yield is built. ⸻ 🌿 Pistils / White Hairs • These are stigmas, part of the female reproductive system • Their job: • Catch pollen • Signal reproductive maturity At Week 5: • Still mostly white → plant is actively building, not finishing • Upright and fresh → healthy hormonal signaling 👉 White pistils = growth mode 👉 Dark/orange pistils = maturity progression ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding (Dialed In) You kept it consistent — and that’s why she bounced back: • 🌡️ Temp: 28°C • 💧 RH: 60–65% • ⚗️ pH: ~6.0 • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • 🌬️ CO₂: ~1000 ppm • 🚰 Water intake: ~1.2L/day 👉 That water uptake is key — it tells us: roots are active → metabolism is running → recovery is real ⸻ 📸 Plant Structure & Expression • Smaller frame, but balanced structure • Bud sites forming across the plant • No wasted energy — everything is focused 👉 She didn’t win the height race… 👉 But she’s still in the quality game ⸻ 🧠 What This Plant Teaches Not every plant is a monster. Some are: • Stressed early • Slower to adapt • Smaller in size But with stability and patience: 👉 They recover 👉 They produce 👉 They surprise you This is grower discipline — not chasing perfection, but supporting the process. ⸻ 🎒 Official Introduction — Mr. Baggy He’s been around… now it’s official. Mr. Baggy is part of the team. From garden runs to studio sessions — always present. A reminder that even in serious work… 👉 we keep it human 👉 we keep it fun 👉 we keep it ours ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week (Week 6 Flower) • Calyx swelling will accelerate • Trichome production will increase visibly • Pistils may begin slight color change in some areas • Aroma profile will start developing deeper layers ⚠️ Key focus: • Watch EC → avoid pushing too hard now • Maintain airflow (density is coming) • Stay consistent — no big changes ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude From grower to growers: Big love to: • The GrowDiaries community • Everyone following — OGs & new • Supporters, challengers, silent watchers And to the people behind the tools: • Plagron • Zamnesia • The lights above us ⸻ 🌱 Closing She started as the weakest in the room. Now she’s a reminder: 👉 Growth isn’t always fast 👉 Progress isn’t always big 👉 But resilience… always shows 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficialNEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

This girl is out of control with the growth. She has grown 12 inches and is not stopping. Seriously unbelievable. I think you can actually see it grow just watching it. She is going to be huge.

31.3 The plant has entered the flowering stage, with the first pistils starting to show. I think both plants are going to be the purple phenotype. You can already see the first hints of purple on the early-stage buds—or at least they seem to have a purple tint. We’ll know for sure in the coming days. 2.4 They’re definitely going to be fully purple. Even at this early stage, they’re already starting to show deep purple hues. I’m really excited to see how they develop.

And here we are at our Zamnesia harvests, Northern Lights 1 - Born on 01.09.2024 - Harvested on 14.11.2024 precisely ten weeks and 4 days of life on this earth. ATTENTION - The other plant was harvested and documented in the previous week, for convenience and to better distinguish them at harvest time I divide them for you. Even though we are growers in our small intensive it is always a little displeasure to prune these masterpieces of nature and cannabis breeding but on the other hand the purpose for which it produced these buds full of resin is noble and if it remained there for a long time it would not come to a good end, so without further ado it is harvested. We evaluated the harvest because the flowers seemed to have been ripe for a while, very mature pistils, rock flowers that seemed ready for about a week but I still flushed for the best possible result in terms of organoleptic cleanliness of the flower. Pistils ripe at 80-90% and trichomes mostly clody, quite a bit amber and in the violet shades of the leaves reddish and violet gorgeous, really a beautiful show of trichomes. The scent is truly wonderful at the time of harvest I could not distinguish it well then slowly something sweet and fruity mixed with spicy came out a mix that always intoxicates me. The results in terms of quantity are not bad at all we will be around 30-40 the first one already harvested and 50-60 this one. We are very happy to be on Zamnesia's side and to show you what work they are doing with breeding. Soil - The plant was grown with the 100% organic Plagron Promix soil, which I really appreciated for its fantastic absorption coefficient and for an airiness that would not even require perlite, which I added in some cases. Fertilizers - From day one, fertilizers were calculated with the module on the Plagron website that allows you to calculate your customized fertilization schedule. I used: Alga Grow and Algra Bloom as basic fertilizers, Power Roots as a rooting agent, Sugar Royal amino acids, the very important Pure Zym enzymes that process the dead parts of the plant and transform them into fertilizer, Vita Race as a strengthening foliar, Power Buds that stimulates a very fast production of buds for real and the legendary Green Sensation booster without equal on the market. They are all available on the Zamnesia website in convenient packs perfect for growing, just do a simple search if you use mineral fertilizers and you will find the line that best suits you // At the link --- https://www.zamnesia.io/it/11457-plagron-easy-pack-natural.html On the Plagron website instead you can find the info and calculate your custom growing schedule At the link --- https://plagron.com/en The DS120w Growbox and the fantastic DF16 ventilation / filtration system are from Secret Jardin, there was a change of growbox between autoflowering and photoperiodic at a certain point for a height emergency if you notice discrepancies on the light models and growbox it is for this but everything should be fine. Week 12 for Peyote Zkittlez by seedsman She seems to be bouncing back well from that hard pull apart i did to make her canopy flat. She seems to still be getting a little heat burn from the sun but that's okay. No signs of pre flower any time soon.

Had a cold, slow growing week this week. Night temps dropped down pretty low a few nights before I noticed, had a cold snap and I recently took my heating vent out of the tent, so I rerouted one of my AC exhausts trough this tent to heat it up again. I also had a bit to much nitrogen in my water mixture so this also slowed them down a bit, I diluted the nutrients in half but removing half of the water and adding strait water. There coming around now a few days later. Gonna be moving them to the big 4’x8’ tent soon(week or so prob till the tent is empty) with the RDWC 5gal bucket system and 1000w HPS for flowering. Gonna let them grow up a bit still before be start there LST, don’t wanna stress them yet after last week and there still staying low and bushy, not quite long enough shouts to pull over yet. Well that’s it for this week, cheers💨 #trusttheplant🌱

Week 2 has gone just as well as I'd like it too! I had an accident during the week where I had dropped a sticky bug trap on one of my girls, this led to me accidentally ripping off a fan leaf and a half, but she seems to have come out of it just fine! (Thankfully). I have been feeding 1/3 strength nutes the past few feeds, stepping it up from 1/4. I will be watering until I see runoff from now on to prevent nutrients from building up in the coco. Update(day 15, 4/12/20) Today I purchased a new oscillating fan, co2 bags and a new hygrometer that hooks up to my phone and shows me stats. The girls have been putting in a lot of work over the past 24 hours. I also had a Purple Punch photo seed sprout today which I may be turning into a mother plant. I will be starting a diary for this girl too. Update (Day 16 5/12/20) Second purple punch photo popped today, going to keep 1 inside and give the other to my mom to take care of. The girls got their first 1/4 dose of calmag today fed at 6ph due to all the nutrients settling there.( I do have ph +/- but I'm going to try run this whole grow at 5.8-6.2. Update (Day 17 6/12/20) Plants seem happy today. Fan leaves producing a the pre-existing nodes are starting to shoot out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, my streets power went out today for ~90 minutes, I opened the tent, windows and doors to get any light in I could, thankfully the power came back on shortly after. I fed the girls today with very little run-off(I'm trying to perfect the amount of water they need). Update (Day 18 7/12/20) The girls have jumped up over night! I wont be feeding today as I'd like the coco to dry out quite a bit more. Update (Day 19 8/12/20 Gave the girls a small feed today with very little run-off Everything seems to be going well so far, I'm very thankful! Update (day 20 9/12/20) Everything is going pretty well today. I will not be feeding as the increased humidity has kept the coco more moist than usual. Will be feeding full strength nutes tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by, HMU with any questions or tips you have.

December 29 day 15, growth is fine, I will likely top the plant later in the week. Roots are developed enough to remove humidity dome, although I am still running a humidifier. December 30, day 16, topped the Malasana cookies and removed growth at the first node. I am not mainlining as I don't think it would give me an even canopy across the 8sqft growing area this plant will take up. The topping won't give the same symmetry, but with a bit of training I will end up with an even, wide canopy. I removed the branches from the first node as I would have to end up removing a lot of that growth. In my experience those first branches never fill in as much anyways. December 31 day 17, recovery from topping going well. Put the humidity dome back on to keep the VPD at around .8kPa. January 2 day 19, despite the large pot causing a bit of overwatering leaf droop the Malasana cookies continues to recover well. I am done with the humidity dome after waffling back and forth quite a bit. I posted an image in more natural light to so that the leaves are a healthy green. Just that edge curling that will work itself out when the plant grows into its big container. January 4 day 21, growth is taking off as it should at this age. Its still going to be a long veg to get an 8sqft flowering size. Recovery from the topping is good, and new leaves are healthier with less clawing. I applied LST with plant ties to get growth to head toward my plant training frame (atlas plant trainer).
