2/1 Week 12! Re-introducing the Peak PK in low dose as I begin to migrate the plant to all Peak and then flush I hope all in less than two weeks. Will step things daily, tomorrow it will be 10 ml CT 10 ml Peak with an eye on the ppm. You get the idea, she has to finish and fast. Valuable lesson, don't have anything ever backed up behind a sativa grow waiting on them to finish, it aint worth it. Grow em at the end of a cycle. 2/2 put the feed at 12ml CT 7ml Peak thought maybe its too much of a swing, tomorrow 10 and 10 2/3 10ml of each this morning. Got to move things along, new plan is to begin flush at start of new week this weekend, At flush changing lights to 12/12 , binding her back up just a little, then placing one of the testers on a stand in the tent to take pressure off the veg tent. 5-7 days later we harvest based on what we see. We cannot come up with anything better As far as growth she is doing great, its a heavy plant and the hairs are still straight and 95% white! Build so fast 2/4 All is well Tara really seems to like the 10-10 dose so leaving it for now. Changed light schedule to match the veg tent. This is to accommodate the near arrival of one of the photos. In a few days the plant will have to finish off at 12-12 so the photo can flip. Not ideal but practical from our point of view. Keeping our hopes up here and uttering my characteristic prayer... Please God dont let me foul this up... Amen 2/5 Feeding as before Had to bind her up a bit, she is so heavy we were afraid of her toppling over. Seriously this plant is TOP HEAVY. Which is good I guess 😬 Not flushing till I see it is time, not messing this one up. Dont get plants like this everyday. 2/7 Ending the week with a full tent again Switched lights to 12-12 and bound her up to fit in half the tent, we literally could not come up with anything else for this. She just keeps going and going lol DRY WEIGHT ON RIPLEY! 261 grams Hoped for more but meh sativas. Still nothing to sneeze at 😇

FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

Week eight! I will be removing the mylar and whitewashing the walls instead. Hopefully this allows sufficient light. Day 51 - photographed Day 52 - fertigated 5l each. I am thinking about starting to train these girls now, so expect updates soon. Day 54 - removed top few nodes and cut clones. Dat 56 - Photographed. This plant is flexxxxing! 💪💪💪 Day 18 - I am so impressed with the boom of growth from this plant! She's looking healthy as ever after her feeding yesterday. I'll take a picture of her root system when I change the reservoir. She's going to be a beast! Day 21 - Approaching topping day. This chick means business. This has been smooth sailing so far! Her leaves are so big, healthy and green. I increased my LED to full spectrum.

Down to the final week or two. Can't wait to flush and harvest

This genetics requires a lot of heavy feeding and heavy light and a lot of space because they gonna grow like beasts. In about 79 days from seed they were ready . One of the plants had small buds but full of trichomes, rich in terpenes with a nice smooth Latte creamy smell, the other had fluffier buds with more hazey smell

showing great colors during the last 3 weeks of flowering, great strain. i absolutelly recommend it!

Outcome was alright since i had a mite infestation for so long, still happy of what i got out of the plants! will update on dry weight and taste etc. Also that was the first time in grew with “decent” equipment, since i don’t have alot of money to spend i got these quantum boards off alibaba & i’m pretty impressed off what they are able to do!

Hello everyone! here it is, the time has come to spend all this beautiful world in bloom ... although one of the small is typically indica, the others int a more sativa phenotype, there is just a look at the leaves .... here I water this week with plagron terra grow at a rate of 5ml per liter ... here is now room for photos ... peace ...

Experiencing what seems to be my first nutrient lock out. Bought a soil ph tester from homdepo its reading 7.0 so that what bring me to that conclusion on top of the slower growing and the slight yellowing around the leaves. I was being cheap and using the liquid ph tester that comes with the ph up and down and im regretting now seeing my plants in not the best condition. Im ordering a better ph pen today i used the vivosun one the i currently have got the water to 5.8 checked the run off and its at 6.2 hopefully that helps. Saturday im going to top dress and water at 5.8 aging and im thinking that should put me back on track Any advice i could definitely use some tips and pointers

I've come to the conclusion that I'm dealing with an Iron issue with this one. Giving it more Calcium in the lime water probably wasn't the best idea, though I thought it would help stabilize the PH. Hard to tell if it's an excess or deficiency. I figured it would be an excess since we have a high amount of iron in our water. So, I think my best course of action is flushing with some sledgehammer first of all. That's what seems to be the recommended course of action. Then we can top dress with some Coast of Maine 5-2-4 for a good round amount of nutrition and hopefully that will help it out of it's funk so it can recover before it's too late😳.

Started intense stress training by bending the main stems below the canopy line. She has stopped smelling completely which is a good sign the flowering has flipped nicely!

Week 8 done, going pretty well I’m happy. 1 of the Runtz has got huge colas already and quite frosty. The other 2 Runtz - much smaller buds 1 quite frosty / smelly the other hardly at all. Both the Fastbuds although much smaller than the Zamnesias are way way frostier. And so undecided what I’ll run next time. Will see how these zamnesia genetics smoke before I decide. Issues have been these fecking fungus gnats that I can’t quite get rid off. Seriously winding me up prick little things. And maybe mistiming my final top dress for some of the girls as 1 or 2 are looking a little hungry with c3weeks to go. Also about to run out weed so will probably have to chop one of these earlier than I’d like. Still next grow starts in 3 weeks when I’ve moved into the house I bought with the money growing has saved me. Will have a 2 tent setup plus a bitching new led… Lean times soon to be thing of the past..! So all good. Thanks for reading have a great week 😊

Esta semana pasada ha seguido creciendo pero a menos ritmo, luna nueva que tampoco ayuda y un espacio ya reducido para su tamaño aun asi hemos solucionado tema plagas con aceite de neem y aracnabis de terranabis, como vemos en las fotos las raices blancas indican que hemos llegado a tiempo para el trasplante, hemos podado los primeros dos nudos para dar fuerza superior, estamos en luna creciente veremos como tira con el trasplante y la ayuda lunar! * ********* Week 3, April 25 to May 1, 2020 - Days 15 to 21 from germination ********** * So we have been chugging along and doing well. Keeping the feeds in check and not given any waterings over 6.0pH before this week. By mid week when checking runoff numbers found they were flipping 7.2pH!!!!!! What is shooting up the numbers so high?? They were given some Epsom salt and not sure if they have been given too much magnesium. Wondering if it could be the pots? Watering patterns have not changed? Cut slits in the bottom of all the fabric pots to help with drainage and see if moisture is sitting in the bottom of the pot causing issues with pH??? They are doing well but not at the same time.....GSC girls seem a little show in veg growth at this stage. Little more detail....... April 25/20 - Day 15 - Mixed 1L of water with Vitathrive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 700ppm and 6.0pH. - each girl given 0.5L feed. - humidity a little low at 52% and bumping up to 65% - light heights at 30” roughly right now. - GSC outer edges of leaves getting a little light. - GSC2 is forming a nice structure and new leaves are wider. April 26/20 - Day 16 - no real growth and the girls don’t look happy.......not sure of the issue? - mixed 2L water with Sensi CalMag @ 1.5ml. Sensyzime @ 2ml, Epsom Salt @ 1/4 tsp/L - GSC fighting magnesium deficiency so adding Epsom Salt, - increased light intensity a bit today. April 27/20 - Day 17 - dry out day - think the root zone is holding too much moisture and causing pH issue. - cut long slits in the bottom of the pots to let moisture run out faster/easier. - GSC has liked the increased lighting. - all the girls got clockwise rotation today. April 28/20 - Day 18 - Girl Scout girls given 3L watering with Vitrathrive @ 1.5ml = 100ppm and 5.1pH - runoff numbers: - GSC - 600ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 475ppm and 7.2pH - pH is still too high!!!! - leaf colours on all the girls look good😳 April 29/20 - Day 19 - more runoff numbers to look at - Mixed 8L for each girl with Dual Fual @ 1.75ml - 325ppm and 5.0pH........each girl given this amount!!!! - Run off numbers: - GSC - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 525ppm - GSC2 - in tray before feed was 7.2pH, brought down the pH to 7.0 and 500ppm - now we see if the flush will help in the next couple of days. April 30/20 - Day 20 - dry out day - stems are looking thicker today. All nodes are separating and they are growing.......slowly though. May 1/20 - Day 21 - dry out day again - need to let the pots dry out in order to adjust the pH further. - they are looking taller and happier today. Sorry for running behind gang. Always so much to stay on top of😀........
