Grüßt euch Freunde! Heute ist der vorletzte Tag der Woche 6. Die Blüten entwickeln sich prächtig und Resin ist ordentlich vorhanden. Man kann schön sehen wie die Blätter langsam ‚faden‘ . Ziel ist: am Ende alle übrigen Nährstoffe verbraucht zu haben, sodass wir einen angenehmen smoke bekommen. Werde daher die nährstoffzufuhr einstellen und sie das verbrauchen lassen, was noch in Boden und Blättern gespeichert ist. Bin der Meinung, dass davon einfach noch genug gespeichert ist. Wer da andere Erfahrungen gemacht hat, kann das gerne mal kommentieren! Bis dahin euch allen eine gute Woche !💚

Week 10 going well, Gelato is thriving.. what beautiful looking plant.. tall, with many branch sides, full of buds, everywhere 😍 the smell is getting stronger each day and it’s full of trichomes, frosty one.. I am really impressed by these 2 of genetics from barneys(gelato and sour d) but to be honest all genetics I have grown from them never disappoints.. all really good ones.. barneys farm coming hot on my tents.. let’s go

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 13 Week thirteen. The plant seems in good shape overall, even though it’s starting to show some light discoloration on a few leaves. I don’t really know what’s causing it. Maybe it’s because the plant is growing and needs more nutrients now. Or maybe there’s some kind of nutrient blockage starting to appear. The substrate has been running for thirteen weeks, so it could be getting a bit loaded. I’m thinking a flush might help — just to give the root system a reset before moving forward. This week I also worked on defoliation and topping. We’re now at sixteen apexes, and I think that’s enough. It’s probably the last topping, because if I wait much longer, the plant is going to get too big and it’ll be harder to manage once she stretches. Aside from that, everything looks fine. However, I did notice a big drop in pH in the reservoir, which is strange. I added Athena Balance, just like always, but the pH keeps going down. I don’t really understand why it’s dropping so much. Other than that, everything’s okay — nothing special to report. The plant looks stable, and we’re getting close to the flowering stage.

It's truly remarkable to witness her impressive moves as she gracefully and sexily fills up the space. Of course, proper nutrition remains crucial for our Tangie's ninja training. Instead of using Aptus Holland Veg Watering Mix and All-in-One Liquid separately, we have now transitioned to solely relying on the pellets. These convenient premixed pellets integrated into the soil eliminate the need for additional liquid NPK. This simplification allows us to focus on other essential aspects of her training. To ensure she remains pest-free, we have been diligently conducting leaf picking sessions, which also serve as an opportunity to check for any unwanted visitors. So far, our Tangie has passed with flying colors, and her vibrant 9-fingered leaves are a fantastic sign of her overall health. 👉The plant was 11" tall. it probably would have been 12 or more if not FIM'd. It almost doubled in its overall size and total vegetation. The FIM has all the secondary branches poking out from under the large fan leaves. I do a little tucking to help them soak up the rays. I may not have FIM'd low enough or something because the leaves that were the outside of the growth node I snipped have gotten big. They just look like they have no tips. I think I ended up with the desired FIM goal of 4 new growth tips that will be cola's. 👉I will assist the branches get maximum access to light by rotating the pot frequently, I will also either support or direct them with bamboo steaks that I will attach to the metal spikes that are attached to the hoop ground the base of the pot. Its just the top of a tomato cage turned upside down with the top hoop around the base of the pot. It fits it snugly and doesn't slip. This allows me to attach the support steaks to the outside of the pot instead of inside in the media. I didn't like having the plant inside a cage or with sticks in the way when its small. It allows me easy access to the plant, and an easy way to add the support when the plant needs it as it get bigger. 👉I switched to week 4 nutrients this week and will probably be a week behind the timeline of the nutrient chart from GH because the plant had a slow start. The pH is always targeted to 5.9, the EC for a batch is 1.54. I have learned enough in the short time Im growing to understand what each nutrient week batch can do for the plant and am fairly confident I can judge the plants growing stage to match it. The 4th week is called transition and I believe thats accurate for my plant. it hasn't declared as of today, but I am anticipating that this coming week some time. 👉The runoff has been very consistent and I only added the low EC rinse of 1.5 liter one time. I always immediately follow a low ec feeding with a regular batch of nutrient. The last two days the run-off volume has started to lessen and the EC staying only 20EC above the inflow. Ive been averaging .75l for total run-off volume following a 1.5l fertigation. Tonight's run-off was .5l and 1.74EC. The lower run-off is due to the plant having more roots and being able to drink more of the moisture. when the run-off drops below 20% of the inflow volume I will increase the total volume in 1/4l increments.

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2202 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/19- Here we go into Week Four of flower and these testers are ON FIRE!🔥🔥🔥 Both testers are in a flower frenzy and are ready to eat! Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. The #1 tester that has had the weird coloring and leaf texture is a beast @ 26" tall and I'm happy that she's come around! In my experience, more times than not I've had plants with issues when they started and debated yanking them but let them stay and all, and I mean every one, have turned out to be epic. I guess it's just dumb luck, or the fact I hate to kill any plants if I don't have to! 😎💚 The # 2 is doing exceptional as well and is beginning to get some purple coloration of the leaves in her flowers! I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering these thirsty girls daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and they're both thriving! The #2 pheno stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is and the #1 is showing signs of purple coloration in her flowers! 1/23- I watered/fed both testers today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water each with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. They'll be getting straight water from here moving forward as the medium has enough food in it to support them until they finish. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with both girls receiving 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. OMG they're both looking fantastic with both looking tall and proud with a beautiful purple coloration expressing in their flowers and even into the leaves of the #2! June 7: Sunday Punch EV is an excellent plant. I’m very impressed. June 8: using the scrog net to keep the fan leaves from shading the growth tips. Loose scrog nets are great when doing a manifold outdoor. Very effective and easy. At this early stage just the weight of the string is enough so there’s no need to tie it down. June 9: video tip about making up for dry air by moistening the leaves a couple time a day. Quick gentle shot with the hose is all it takes. June 10: she’s growing fast now. Entering the stage of fast vegetative growth where it will be growing by over an inch per day. Fun times. June 12: Sunday Punch EV is really growing fast now. Re-arranged Scrog net and clipped it down to spread it out and provide some stability. Leaves are quite big and catching wind. The eight main colas are ready to be topped tomorrow, and there are another 8 inner growth tips that i can leave and they’ll be big enough to reach for sun like the soon to be 16 main colas…so 16 legit colas and 8 bonus cheaters for a nice and uniform 24 cola plant…sure why not?

Heavy defoliation to lower 1/3 of plant; installed 2nd screen to for future bud support; implemented CalMag, microbes, tea, and humid acid; seen an improvement since adding the additional nutrients. Also reduced light from 24 to 18 hrs to see if vigor returns, which it did.

I uploaded longer vids this time for the Vlogs, you don't have to watch em they're there for ya if you're interested :) ~Update~ To start off the girls look great, I'm excited that I'm back where I was when my "First Grow" failed. What's interesting to me is seeing the big difference in the SSH, the 2 previous girls I had were veracious growers, 3 1/2 days of germination and they had a tap root longer than an inch! This one is not so aggressive and has stronger sativa genetics, thin not phat. The others have been doing well, no pest yet which I'll be doing a bleach wipe down of my side of the garage to reduce the chances of an invasion. ~Note~ I'll be updating later this week with a short vid showing the progress. She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 The end of next week will be the beginning of her wrapping up with the 'Finish Line' approaching by Week 9, but it will all depend on when she tells me that she's ready to go! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we're going into the last 2 weeks for this lady and she's right on track, looking epic and smelling like a bucket full of super ripe red grapes! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Her pot had some weight to it when I checked today so I'll skip watering her until tomorrow. I finished up today by checking her over and giving her pot a turn. ~Thanks for stopping in!
