📆 Semana 5 El cultivo entra en fase de bulking, con el stretch ya completamente detenido y toda la energía centrada en el engorde de flores. El stacking se acelera y los cogollos comienzan a unirse, ganando volumen día a día. La producción de resina aumenta notablemente, extendiéndose más allá de las flores, mientras el perfil aromático empieza a definirse con más intensidad. La canopia sigue estable, permitiendo una buena distribución de luz y un entorno óptimo para el desarrollo. Se empieza a construir la densidad real que marcará el resultado final. Tag 56 - Beginn der 9 Woche. Die Buds entwickeln sich weiterhin super. Starker Duft und extrem eisig. Wie schon erwähnt, entwickelt diese Pflanze für ihre Größe wirklich unglaublich dicke Buds. Diese Woche wurde nochmal gedüngt und auch schon mit den ersten Vorbereitungen zur Ernte begonnen. Am Tag 54 wurde das erste mal mit Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish gespült. Dabei gebe ich 1,5 - 2ml/Liter als Zusatz zum normalen Wasser dazu. Der Plan ist dies 5 mal vor der Ernte zu wiederholen und das letzte mal mit normalen Wasser zu gießen. Gedüngt wurde an Tag 51 der letzten Woche. 3 Tage bevor mit dem Spülen begonnen wurde. Dies war natürlich die letzte Düngung. Nährstofflösung: 1 ml/l - Overdrive Advanced Nutrients 1 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. 1 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B.

we are reaching the final stretch, many trichomes are already amber but the girls continue to grow. This week I made some adjustments to the LST and super hydration because they were alone for 5 days. One of the polymerized flowers has already formed several small seeds. The citrus scent is prevalent on the grown.

WEEK 11 - (05/09/2021 - 05/15/2021) Week 3, Day 17 - FLOWER: 05/11/2021 Doing 2 gallons of water per 5 gallon pot this watering due to lack of runoff in weeks prior. I’m thinking I could be letting the pots dry out a little too long in between so the 1.5 gallons hasn’t been enough for each watering. When I stick my finger into the medium 2 or 3 days after watering it still seems like the soil has plenty of moisture so I wait another day or two. I know fabric pots are supposed to dry out usually in 2-3 days, but the soil still seems too moist, and I don’t want to overwater. It seems like ever since transplanting into 5 gallons and switching them to a 12/12 light cycle, watering got more complicated. Maybe I am overthinking the whole process. I just don’t want to risk ruining my crop, you know? Tap water: 223ppm, 8.6 pH, 70℉ (9 gallons total) + HydroGuard: 9ml/9 gallons + pH Down: 30ml/9 gallons Mixture: 267ppm, 6.0 pH, 70.4℉ ppm/ppm = runoff/soil JB#1 - 1330ppm/1063ppm, 6.3 pH AP#1 - 1310ppm/1043ppm, 6.3 pH AP#2 - 1160ppm/893ppm, 6.7 pH GC#1 - 1350ppm/1083ppm, 6.3 pH -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 20 - FLOWER: 05/14/2021 Watered a day earlier than I usually do, with .5 gallons less water per plant. So each plant got a total of 1 gallon of water for their 5 gallon pots. This is really just to take the question out of the back of my mind: Am I letting the pots dry out too much going four days until the next watering? I will check on the plants shortly after they wake up tomorrow to observe their reaction to the watering. None of the plants produced really any runoff, which was boggling to me, because when I water there is usually anywhere between 10-20%, and that’s after watering on the fourth day. Needless to say, I was unable to take readings this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Week 3, Day 21 - FLOWER: 05/15/2021 5:30 p.m. - Decided to check on the plants since I watered a day earlier (yesterday) than I have been since transplanting into the 5 gallon fabric pots. This was kind of an experiment to see how the plants would react to watering on the third day rather than the fourth, because I keep doubting myself. Anyway, when I checked in on the plants, a few leaves looked ever so slightly droopy. Not terrible. It appears that some of the leaves had begun to swell up a little as well. Not 100% sure if these are actually early signs of being overwatered this time, or if it’s something I have simply overlooked until now. Just to be sure, I’m going to water once more on the third day to see how the plants respond. The plants seem to be doing well this week. I've finally installed another ScroG net on the second level to help maintain the canopy. Since I cut the first layer of net the plants quickly started to get out of control and began to grow unevenly across the canopy. The trichomes are starting to appear on all of the plants, with the exception of the American Pie #1. This pheno is a little behind. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with how differently this plant was trained compared to her sisters (The manifold/mainline technique was applied). Possibly could have even defoliated her a little too heavy and she's taking a few extra days to bounce back. She's still producing early buds though, which is good. 👌 That just about wraps up this week. Things just keep getting more and more exciting with each journal entry. All the girls should have about 5-7 weeks left in flower before they are ripe for harvest. Hoping to have another tent and light setup by the end of flower so I can get some more seeds started. D68 (28/01/2021): First official day of week 6 in bloom and first official day (second in reality) of pre harvest flush. The smell is strong when I open the tent! It does not take long for the whole room to smell dank and even outside the room. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 20-22C light OFF - no water - RH: 49-52% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D69 (29/01/2021): I did a first proper flush today by running approximately 2.5 gallons of water trough the medium. There is still a lot of nutrients in the medium. I might do the exact same flush tomorrow. The PH of the run off is high (around PH7-7.1). This is an other reason to flush again tomorrow. I also reduced the light ON schedule by two hours. So now 18h hours ON and 6 hours OFF. I will continue reducing the ON period until they are ready for a complete dark period. I also try to reduce the air temperature. - temp: 24-25C light ON ; 19-20C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 135PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7 and 680PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 560PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 47% light ON ; 48-53% light OFF D70 (30/01/2021): I did a second flush since I was not satisfied with run off PPM of yesterday. Today, the run off PPM is under 300 which is what I wanted. The run off PH is still high with 7.1. Banana Kush is ripening with the pistils slowly turning brown. Glue Gelato look sooooo yummy and I can't wait to harvest it. There is a small color change in some leaves but I'm expecting more in the next days. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - water: PH6.4, 125PPM, 2.5 gallons each - run off: PH7.1 and 260PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.1 and 250PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 46% light ON ; 46-48% light OFF D71 (31/01/2021): Glue Gelato is changing color. I'm checking trichomes everyday on both girls and no amber yet. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 45% light ON ; 49-50% light OFF D72 (01/02/2021): Well well well...the clock is ticking for those girls. Glue Gelato is now having a couple of amber trichomes. Banana Kush don't have any. Overall Banana Kush has less trichomes and fluffier buds. This girls is not ready yet but I will need to chop her down at the same time has the Glue Gelato because my drying space is the tent I'm growing in. I will try to push the Banana Kush to ripen faster by lifting up the lamp at 16 inches from top bud and by reducing of 2 hours the day period for a 16 hours light ON and 8 hours light OFF. But at least all Banana Kush trichomes looks milky. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: PH6.2, 123PPM, less then a gallon each - run off: PH7.4 and 200PPM for Glue Gelato ; PH7.4 and 287PPM for Banana Kush - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D73 (02/02/2021): I gave water probably for the last time today. Trichomes on Glue Gelato are starting to amber on top buds. Not a lot of amber but you can see that all the trichomes are starting to degrade by curling down slowly. Trichomes on Banana Kush are not amber at all but they all look milky. Glue Gelato is ready to harvest but Banana Kush need more time. It's tough to make a decision to chop or not since they are not at the same stage of growth. I want to place them in a complete 48 hours of darkness before harvest. 1h less light today for a 15h light ON and 9h light OFF. The lamps are now at 20 inches. - temp: 23-24C light ON ; 18-19C light OFF - water: less then a gallon each - RH: 45% light ON ; 40-45% light OFF D74 (03/02/2021): Glue Gelato is ready for 48h of darkness. I will take her out of the tent and place her in an other room without light. I will try to maintain a proper environment in this room and if it smells to strong or if the condition are not good I will replace her in the tent and both will start the 48h darkness. The idea is to give Banana Kush 2 more days to ripe and swoll more. After 48h, I will chop Glue Gelato and place her in the tent to start drying. Banana Kush will then start her 48h darkness. I don't know if this strategy is good but I will monitor everything closely and react if something is wrong. - temp: 22-23C light ON ; 19C light OFF - no water - RH: 47% light ON ; 43-45% light OFF

On day 1 the reservoirs PH is steady at 6.2. The rez ppm is 271. On day 2 I turned off the irrigation to deprive the plants of water for 2 days until harvest. I set up my dry tent with a humidifier set up with a humidity controller set to 60% and temps 67-70F.I harvested one branch to dry and test parameters. I will be harvesting in 2 days. On day 3 I'm excited about harvesting tomorrow! I think this strain probably is going to be at peak at day 56-60 but I don't have time to wait that long as my next run coming up after harvest needs to be finished before I go on a vacation in spring and harvesting early gives me just enough time to flower 7-9 weeks with a dry before leaving to go on vacation. The total flowering time for this run will be 53 days. The top colas have mostly gone milky with some amber mixed in and the lowers aren't all completely cloudy yet but probably 75% milky 25% clear. I enjoy a little earlier harvest anyways because I can get my Indica to give me a little boost of energy!

Nothing too special at this point, just watering and the occasional big bloom. I think Im about ready to harvest and move to the next grow. The leaves are a bit thin.

This is a tent full of clones that I finally found my 2 mothers I’m keeping

Little NILLA is finishing her maturation slowly but surely, I am sure the bad bending and absorbing of the cord did slow her down, I cannot afford to do this mistake again, no more noob mistakes shall we? Hehehe Still she is very pretty and I can see tonnes of potential, chunky sticky buds with a strong narcotic smell and good appearance, I took some cuttings and I will take good care of her next time and get to know her better without torturing her!

My final week is here. She’s fading out, id like to have seen her hold her colour a little longer although the leaves around the bud sites are still a nice green colour. buds are tight and dense. More to follow as the week goes on. Update…. I’m 7 days into drying, she’s starting to dry at the heads and gets more sticky the further down the branch. Next grow I’ll definitely lollipop to the top 2 nodes as I’ve found she’s a little “airy down below”. I’ll strip the branches in another 5-7 days.
