Day 65, 17th of November 2020: Here we go with this beauty Tropicanna Poison.... All good streching has stopped making buds. I am waiting for the red colour tho ;) Some lollipopping (defoliation) has been done and also removed all the old LST's as the plant remains in shape from now. Fertilization is still the same like before happens every 2nd day with the ratio and mix above. The lamp is on 11.30 min and off 12.30 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -30 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.30 pm.

4/5 - 4/11: I believe I gave her the last swap of nutrients she'll require this week, probably will be starting to flush sometime within the next week - week and a half. I really didn't expect the buds to get as big as they did in the end considering the plant grew alot denser on one side for some reason. In all the buds on the plant are huge all around and the only popcorn nug that I had picked off of it was during my defoliation in week 8. And you can see that all of the buds are pretty much the same size besides for Mr. Maincola.

Dense colas smells very nice wine gums ...not impressed wit her structure though

Quebec Blast is doing well. Solution change as usual was done. Hopefully the colas get fat and, dense. Good frost going. I am just trying to keep up with it till the finish. Howdy All, Happy New Year! The girls are getting close. The pictures were taken on the 29th. Today is the 3rd of Jan. They are getting close as you can see in the pictures. I began flushing last week with just Regeisys and still giving Terpinator. They are not going to finish at the same time, it looks like I have 2 that will go first and then the other 2 within a week or so. They smell great, and as the Pics show they are frosty. Don't want the Trichomes to get to amber, maybe 25% of them and we are about there. I will follow up early next week. Happy Growing in 2020 everyone!.

These lovely ladies are doing wonderfully. I had to rush when I first put all the plants in my greenhouse, so it was a bit of a puzzle to get everything to fit right. All 3 of these strains have they're own unique smell already. Very excited! Now when I harvest the cherry pie strain I have in there it will give the lemon cherry runtz a lot more space lol

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺

The buds start getting thicker and thicker. Currently I feed the plant with 1.5 EC. This trichomes are mostly clear and starting to get cloudy. Here and there are some amber one's, but they look tiny and old, not sure what happend there. As of now I am planning to give the nutrient solution for at least a couple of days, but I also want to make sure there is one week where I can only give water to maybe get some more colours out of the plant (I really hoped for it to be purple?).

Never saw that level of growth before. I gave them a bloom booster to help with their transition to week 2 - 3 of flower, this should kick in the bud development. I inspected the little ones and noticed signs of Thrips, annoying buggers. I treated them with neem oil and a time released pest fumigator strip (last 3 months). I gave all the girls Flower Fuel a granular bloom booster I got off of amazon last year. I never had issues with it though I haven’t used beastie blooms or other common bloom boosters on the market. The week after next (week 7) I’ll add powdered amendments to keep them going till harvest. I may even amend at week 6 so they get a head start on breaking down all the organic materials. Everything is ph’d to ~6.5, the girls are looking healthy and will be ready for feeding soon. ‖ PESTS ‖ Found a few thrips around, still managing the white flies okay but I’ll need to tackle the thrips immediately to prevent stunted growth and stress to the girls. I use neem oil, green cleaner (not the kitchen disinfectant) and a slow release fumigation strip that helps with most pest. ‖ FINAL THOUGHTS ‖ This week has gone well, again I was surprised with the growth rate during this week. The stretch period is still going for some of the girls so I’ll keep updating on their individual growth stats for the next couple of weeks. I’ll need to inspect my plants a bit more carefully so I don’t miss any signs of stress, pests , etc. I may be partially blind but I can still make a better effort in spotting these potential issues, I’m still learning :) Well, it’s been a great week, got some work ahead of me. 🌿 Grow Update: Week 6 of Flower 🌸 Hey growers, We're cruising through Week 6 of flowering, and I gotta say, things are looking solid in my grow setup. This being my first rodeo, I'm pretty stoked with how it's all turning out. The plant's rocking a deep green, which could be a bit of nitrogen overload or just her natural vibe. Regardless, she's thriving, Ive been so stupid letting her get so big in a 5gallon i wouldn't be surprised if she is rootbound.. Got a bit of a snag with some lower bud sites getting overshadowed by the top canopy. Didn't want to push my luck with more defoliation i cant really at this point of flower, but hey, it's all a learning experience next round, I'll be more surgical. Already thinking about the next grow — tossing in a couple of plants in 5-gallon pots, keeping veg short and sweet at 4-5 weeks. Gonna tighten up the training game for sure. Despite the lower buds not getting as much love, the top ones are coming along nicely. She's a thirsty one, so I'm hitting her with 4 liters at lights on and another 2 liters a few hours before lights off to keep that coco from drying out. Got about 3-4 more weeks to go, and I'm itching to see how it all pans out. Can't wait to see the final yield and taste the goods.
