Hallo zusammen! 👋🍑 Auch meine Apricots entwickeln sich in Woche 10 genau in die Richtung, die ich mir erhofft hatte. Von Woche zu Woche werden die Veränderungen deutlicher und langsam beginnt die eigentliche Magie der Blütephase. Die Pflanzen haben in den letzten Tagen sichtbar an Masse gewonnen. Besonders die Hauptcolas werden immer kompakter und beginnen sich Stück für Stück zu verdichten. Gleichzeitig legen auch die zahlreichen Seitentriebe ordentlich zu, wodurch überall gleichmäßig schöne Blüten entstehen. Besonders beeindruckt mich in dieser Woche die Harzentwicklung. Die Sugar Leaves sind mittlerweile nahezu komplett mit Trichomen überzogen und die Blüten bekommen diesen wunderschönen frostigen Look, der von Woche zu Woche intensiver wird. Man merkt, dass die Pflanzen jetzt ihre Energie voll auf die Blütenproduktion konzentrieren. Trotz des wechselhaften Wetters entwickeln sich die Apricots weiterhin ausgesprochen stabil. Die Blattfarbe ist gesund, das Wachstum bleibt kräftig und die Blüten schieben täglich neue Kelche nach. Dadurch werden die Colas immer massiver und gewinnen kontinuierlich an Volumen. Ich bin außerdem sehr zufrieden mit der Struktur der Pflanzen. Durch das Training gelangt ausreichend Licht bis in die unteren Bereiche, sodass selbst kleinere Budsites hervorragend mitwachsen. Genau das sorgt dafür, dass sich nicht nur die Spitzen, sondern nahezu die komplette Pflanze gleichmäßig entwickelt. Auch der Duft verändert sich inzwischen deutlich. Beim Berühren der Blüten bleibt ein intensives, süß-fruchtiges Aroma an den Fingern zurück, das bereits jetzt Lust auf die Ernte macht. Jetzt beginnt die spannendste Phase des gesamten Grows. In den kommenden Wochen werden die Blüten weiter anschwellen, die Trichomproduktion wird noch einmal deutlich zunehmen und ich bin gespannt, welches Potenzial die Apricots bis zur Ernte noch entfalten werden. The flowering stage is now entering one of the most exciting periods. Over the past week the plants have gained noticeable size and density. The main colas are becoming thicker and more compact, while the numerous side branches continue stacking flowers, creating a very even canopy filled with healthy bud sites. The biggest highlight this week is definitely the resin production. The sugar leaves are now heavily coated with trichomes, giving the buds a beautiful frosty appearance that becomes more impressive every day. It's clear that the plants are now directing most of their energy into flower production. Despite the changing outdoor conditions, the plants continue to perform extremely well. The foliage remains healthy, growth is vigorous, and fresh calyxes continue forming throughout the flowers. As a result, the colas are steadily becoming denser and gaining more weight week after week. I'm also very happy with the overall plant structure. Thanks to the training, plenty of light reaches the lower branches, allowing even the smaller bud sites to develop into well-formed flowers instead of remaining underdeveloped. This creates a much more balanced plant with quality buds throughout the entire canopy. Another thing I've really started to notice is the aroma. Every time I inspect the flowers, they release an increasingly rich sweet and fruity scent that already gives a small preview of what the final harvest might offer. The most exciting stage of this grow is just beginning. Over the coming weeks the buds should continue swelling, resin production will increase even further, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how much these Apricots can still develop before harvest. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. So liebe grower, 20 Wochen voller Spannung sind für mich ins Land gezogen und ich muss sagen ich bin begeistert von dieser Sorte, das Wachstum verlief gut und sie hat sich fast garnicht für mein topping und lst Interessiert und einfach weiter gemacht mit ihrem Wachstum. In der blüte gab es dann ein paar Probleme mit Überdüngung die ich verursacht habe was mich sicherlich Ertrag gekostet hat aber dank der fleißigen Helfer hier auf Grow diaries war das Problem schnell gelöst und der Schaden minimal gehalten danke schon mal an euch ihr seid die besten. Aber ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön möchte ich an Mrs Larimar richten da er/sie mir bei einigen Fragen geholfen hat und eigendlich immer gleich zur Stelle war wenn was mit meinen Ladys war, also danke Mrs Larimar du hast 1000 likes verdient für deine Arbeit die du hier auf Grow diaries leistest. Zum eigendlich en Ergebnis zurück gelato 41#1 hatt 374,94 gramm abgeworfen, gelato 41#2 hatt 361,01 gramm her gegeben, gelato 41#3 satte 370,37 gramm und zu guter letzt gelato 41 #4 330,29 gramm sind insgesamt 1436,61 gramm nass Gewicht. Ich bin mehr als zufrieden mit dem Ergebniss und finde das gelato 41 ein guter produktiver Cannabis stamm ist. Zu dem Wachstum der Knospen im allgemeinen kann ich sagen das bei 4 Ladys 3 verschiedene Profile raus kamen gelato 41 #1 und #4 haben eher längliche colas entwickelt die relativ fest sind gelato 41 #2 hat eher tennis Bälle produziert die echt hart wie holzbälle sind und gelato 41 #3 war ne Mischung aus den beiden. Zum Geruch der sich über die gesammte blüte immer wieder verändert hat es fing an mit zitrus Noten die dann gepaart wurden mit so nem cremigen touch dann kam ein hauch von Minze hinzu und ganz am Ende Rochen die Ladys nach cremigen sauerlichen Beeren mit leichtem Zitronen Duft der gepaart mit cremiger minz Note einher geht einfach nur lecker im Duft. Trocken Gewicht werde ich updaten wenn die Ladys in die Gläser gehen und Rauch Bericht nr.1 folgt dann ca 14 Tage später und Rauch Bericht Nr2 weitere 14 Tage später, euch allen noch einen wunder schönen Grow mit reichlich ernte und bis zum nächsten Bericht cu........

Raised the light a bit the girls that are stretching! Gave em a decent defoliation, but they really didnt need to much! The buds are stacking up nice and i think the plants are in their final form!

I've pretty much been hands off this grow. Just letting the plants do what they want. I did a spray with insecticidal Soap which shocked some of the auto genetics. Had some leaf loss but they are bouncing back. I saw one tiny fly and wasnt worth the shock some of the susceptible plants had. Lesson learned. I havent done much more than fimmed, topped, and lsted very lightly. Testing out fimming on autos. So far the lst only autos started flowering around day 23 to 25. The fimmed autos have stayed in veg much longer and were way more resilient. They are just starting to flower or show pistil. One of the Double Grape is showing completely different pheno than the other double grape. So much that I thought it might need 12/12 to flower. However it started showing pistils a day ago. Double grape responded very well to Fim and so did the northern lights big bud auto and purple scoops. I had problems with a driver on a brand new fc3000 blowing up, mars hydro sent me a replacement driver. They then wanted to squabble about replacing the plastic piece that connects the driver to the light. Two weeks later they sent the part after I told them I had to buy an HLG cause I couldnt believe they wouldnt send me a plastic part. Then the HLG I was sent was the 65 version not the 100 but they sent me the correct light right away and my plants and the clones loveeeed the HLG 100 v2. So much so that I bought the 65 version they sent by mistake and they gave me $10 bucks off for my troubles. Even though I had to be persistent with Mars Hydro they did do me right and now both my LEDs are working. However I had a 4 by 8 of plants all stacked on one end under 150 watts for weeks trying to get this solved. I had multiple power and light issues with adding the new 4 by 8 tent that costs my plants I'm sure. I decided not to freak about it and let things go with the flow and not stress. Things will not be optimum but I learn each grow about my setup and this is my first grow in soil so learning curves. I'm feeding very small amounts of calmag and seaweed extract in each watering which is every two to three days with ro water. I started this week three when the plants showed shock from the spray. It seemed to help them recover. I'm using light warrior, ocean forest and living soil layered mix. I kept 1 king tut, 3 alien tech clones which are doing good nice and rooted directly in light warrior. Transplanted week three in 3 gal pots. Never cloned before so is a learning process.

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. Third week of flowering. I added a second screen to be able to separate the tops. The screen has 8x9 squares, adding up to 72 and each square has a flower. I think I will have a good harvest. See you next week

It is looks like a harvest time is close- I would a assume in a week or two. The buds are so heavy, if not supporting them, they will break End of week 13- looks like lady is almost ready. Will start to flash for a week and then harvest

As this will be the last time I defoliate I took away quite a few of the leaves. Maybe a little too many as most guides reccomend not taking more then 30% of the leaves in a single defoliation

Amazing!!!!! a wonderful girl, she managed to keep herself so beautiful and strong :) she was not visited very often :) the house has a wonderful smell of tropical fruits :) Thanks to Dutch Passion for the opportunity :)

a little as it's cold here and the room the tent is in gets down to 15-16c at night. The air is also dry af This is great, cannabis loves low humidity and a good 10 degree difference in day/night temps in flowering. Swelling up nice. Doesn't really smell unless handled.

Seems to be going well. Short and tight plant.

I have never treated my girls as poorly as I did during this session... and yet the result amazes me! in 12 weeks, despite all the mistakes i made, they gave me 121g dry; nice! 🎁

Day 15, having a right week of it!!! Thought I was on top of the chlorosis (Thinking Ca/Mg issue) and then I start getting issues that make the plants look like they're getting N Toxicity!!! Now, in all fairness, by fixing the Ca/Mg issue, I may have created an N issue - My CalMag does appear to have N in it - @Shogun any helpful ideas here for me please??? :) What getting me is plants are drinking (Not massive amounts, but they are drinking), EC is staying stable and have standard pH drift of about 0.1/day towards neutral, this should be bang on. Roots are good as they're popping through bottom of the root pouch/air pruner pots (These are 12L each so a number of roots are over 6inches long this would mean) and growing into the run off water (I may mod my Wilma and make it a psuedo bubbler too but then this may cause all sorts of issues with my expected water volumes, etc.!!!). Wondering if anyone on here has had issues with either wind burn (From a 7" oscillating fan) or seen low humidity issues in veg that could maybe help? I am going to grab a humidifier for the tent (Should be here Wednesday) to see if that helps (Liberally spraying the place with pH adjusted water, added open water sources to the tent, etc.). Also, with the roots popping through, may grab some Sensizym to clean up dead root material & fulvic to ensure no salt build up round the roots. As I am stumped by what I am seeing (Things seem to contradict each other), I ran 2L of pH adjusted water through each plant on Sunday 30th and held of feeding to ensure salt build-up wasn't happening in the clay, round the roots. This has topped the tank back off to around 50L, brought my CF down to 10 (1ec) and I dropped feeds to 3 per day (15mins after lights on for 15mins, 1 in the middle of the cycle and 1x15 near lights off). The fact there was no EC upping with such a small amount of water, again makes me think the "Nute Burn" isn't caused by the feeding and possibly by humidity (or lack there off - it can get down to 35% in there). I know it goes against all the SOP's, but in general, the air coming out of my tent is cool; It does go into the main room where the tent is, but is a large cabin and has the door open most of the day with kids running in and out of the other room (I have a security gate to keep them out!!! :P Also, the airflow crosses my ballast, keeping it cold to the touch); until the humidifier arrives, can i recirc the air back into the tent to up the humidity? I have a dehumidifier in the room (On but set to 90) to check the humidity in the main room and it is creeping up (Was at 63% there when I was re-doing LST while tent was at 44%). My lights on period is 4pm to 10am but don't want to turn the fan off as the tent is beside a SW facing wall so is getting heat for a couple of hours before Sundown (around 9pm now). Or, would it do much damage to change to 6pm to noon for lights on? Don't want more of a shock to their system as they've settled into 18/6 from a 24hr under CFL at seedling. Again, anyone who sees this and may be able to help, please do! Day 19 and 21 added

Sep 12: Godfather OG is doing great. Likely 2 or 3 more weeks, ideally, but will likely have to harvest earlier due to weather. Final Flush was done today using 9 L of 26 C warmed water. Decided to do the flush because one of the other plants is having problems with bud rot and the season here is ending soon. Wait 7-10 days after the flush so that timing works on this surprisingly fast flowering plant. Sep 13: did another 18 L flush as I decided 9 L yesterday wasn’t enough. Defoliated to expose buds to sunlight. Sep 18: flowers are looking really nice. Removed a small bit of bud rot that she picked up from her wagon mate that had a bad outbreak. She looks really good, and the bit I had to remove had a great pungent smell and the buds are nice and solid.

Sie sieht einfach genau so aus, wie auf dem Produktbild von Dutch Passion 🤤 Das ist promising! Daher habe ich nochmal das Homepagefotonzum Vergleich reingepackt. Die Trichomabdeckung ist nochmal ausgereifter und überzeugt mit wirklich schönem Glanz! Inzwischen ist alles trüb/milchig und es sind auch schon einige Bernsteinfarbene Trichome erkennbar. Auf jeden Fall gibt es jetzt aber noch ne extra Woche! Unter meinen bisherigen Erfahrungen hätte ich sie diese Woche geerntet. Das wird nun einfach Mal verschoben. Ein wunderbar süßes Aroma verbreitet sich immer mehr! Sie hat eine wunderschöne und homogene Wuchsform. Das bin ich von Dutch Passion echt gewohnt. Tolle Strains! Jetzt gibt es nur noch Wasser.
