Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Day 120 The buds look dense and frosty, with swollen calyxes and visible trichome coverage-clear signs that the plant is nearing harvest. Some leaves are fading or curling slightly, which is normal at this stage as the plant directs its remaining energy into the buds. Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Although she is indica, she still grows. 9 cm in 3 days. So i guess this is the reason her buds are a bit behind. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only WC drank pure water because of burns. She grow 13cm in 4 days. An indica pheno stretches like she is in preflowering stage. And this i think is happening. At start she took a lot of air and maybe she felt cold. So, now she started again to develop. I make a prediction that her buds will be really fat. She is very healthy and responses absolute perfect to the nutrient schedule.

Day 72 - Into week 11 now and gave her 2 gallons of water and nutes today. Overall she’s doing really well and budding up nicely. She’s already extremely frosty and looking forward to the next few weeks to see what she does at the end. Day 73 - No real issues and nothing much else going on with the girl right now. Just took her out of the tent for some updated pictures and tucked a few leaves when I put her back for more light penetration. Day 74 - Nothing much new really happening today. She’s frosty as hell and budding up nicely. She’s got another couple of days before she needs any sort of water or nutes but I’ll check in her tomorrow and if she needs some, I’ll give her some. Day 75 - Nothing much to speak of with her right now. She got 2 gallons of water and nutes today and her buds are really looking gorgeous. She’s probably the strongest smelling plant that I’ve grown so far. Day 76 - Almost the end of week 11 and all is good. Not much happening right now but did defoliate a few giant fan leaves. Other than that, just enjoying her smell and watching her swell. Day 77 - It’s the last day of week 11 and she’s doing great. Not much really going on, she’s stacking buds and continuing to frost up even more than the beginning of the week. She should need some water and nutes by the end of the weekend. All in all it looks like this is gonna be a very easy trim for once.

Rain finally came

Hey guy's Ok so here we are at day 74. Girl scout cookies, First of all DAMN what a smell straight up cookies like some mint and a faint liquorice notes to it. But this girl is picky and i learned a lot for my first run of this pheno, Next time around she will go straight up organic with only 6.5 ph water from the Blumat and i topped her to grow 4 tops next time around that will help her breathe better against mold (i think). The main cola single top was so "sappy" and so dense and so fat it was thicker then both my fists together (I have big hands too), so at day 69 i spotted some mold on on her.......... i though i was doomed and all work for nothing i though i would never get to try it this time around after all this time and care. No i cut the main cola cut all the mold i could see with magnifier microscope and rinsed her in clean spring water then dried for a week, i might have lost a few nice buds but hey i saved her fruit in the end and i let the rest of the plant flower out until tonight 00.01 my time. need 75 to feel good about my self 😬. I didn't get the chance to take better quality pictures i am sorry friends i hope that okay with you 😬, due to work and kids i had little to no time this week, but here is the result. 😀 Edit: I will update with dry weight when all of it is dried. Start of week 5 of flower, everything going well, girls are packing on weight Both still completely different, one short stocky indica style pheno and the other tall sativa like The excitement is palpable now

Everything is looking good this week. Added soil on top of pot as I could see roots showing above ground due to excess pull I did when performing LST. Will not pull so much next time. Finally found a way to take nicer pictures.

Another week complete. As usual pH problems and accompanying nutrient deficiencies. Keeps swings up every 12hrs. Flowers are stacking in size now. Fingers crossed I can make it to the end. Added final part nutrient today, heading into week 8. 1st indoor, 1st auto.

My aggressive bud-blocker removal has resulted in an unruly bush who is trying to over-grow her space! My hopes are that she can keep herself contained for the rest of the grow lol 😂. I've done a LOT of defoliation to try and help with the humidy and airflow in the tent. Her bud sites look happy and healthy, and her branches are super strong! 💪 She is drinking a TON of water. I find myself adding a gallon every 2-3 days!

Date: 7/5/26 Week 16 Flower day 2 Going strong, little but of deficiency due to perm bluez ending early but just keeping her on a 1.6-1.9 feed and ween her down now, couple weeks left Starting to produce purple flickers on her leaves, has a nice bright green/purple contrast and smells absolutely gassy cake batter atm, idk about bananas

la seconda pianta ossia quella che non era ermafrodita è stata impollinata solo nel ramo in diretto raggio del ventilatore, forse avrei potuto pensarci, comunque ho 12 semi, per il resto non ho trovato molti semi e sono soddisfatto nel complesso, la pianta non ermafrodita ha avuto un esplosione di tricomi, veramente piena, per altro le cime sembravano pesare molto, per adesso stanno seccando, di muffa ne ho trtovata poc e niente
