This girl seems to be doing very well and they probably will be finished in a week or so if crazy weather doesn't ruin everything a nice citric smell with a dank smell to it as well is what she has developed and she starting to look pretty nice and heavy . So this final week the buds on this Orange Hill Special are filling out. They are getting rock solid and the calyxes are doing their final swelling. Also, the trichomes have started forming and up close, they are forming a white sticky film over the whole bud. The buds feel heavy and compact, although their size could have been bigger but not complaining with this amount of bud. I have just been feeding some perma tea and clean water since this soil is probably very high in nutes by now. I had some brown leaf points so just adjusted and all was fine. Now we go into the final one or two weeks. I did some final defoliation to expose some underside buds, they are swelling too. Removed some sticky underside larf, kept it in a box to gradually dry for a preliminary taste test coming days. SO this is my second grow of this strain, this plant shared a 120x120 tent with another Magic Melon and 2 Gorilla Cookies from Fast Buds (Amazing Strain) Very happy with large feedings, and now that she is alone in the tent, I can publish some good information about this strain as other diaries for this strain do not seem to do it justice. From previous grow, which was summer here so 40 degree C days, was growing at around 33C and obviously feeding it around 2.5 litres a day - but she did it and the smoke was great, this time around since the temps are in the normal ranges, Im hoping for less terpene loss and a much better smoke, great strain from HUMBOLDT - Im guessing this harvest will be in the 150 g Dry Weight Range, the previous 2 I grew in Summer at those very high temps yielded 220g between them.

03/12 - Day 68 Girls are putting out some really nice aromas! I’m assuming this is the last push for this strain, buds are really tight and super hard when squeezed on (B) & (C) All around the trichomes are still pretty clear and no amber yet.

05.11.2025-BT3 Es geht los ! Die Blüte wurde offiziell eingeleitet. Heute wurde nach dem Düngeschema für Blütewoche 1 gegossen und zusätzlich das SCROG-Netz eingespannt. Jetzt heißt es abwarten und gespannt auf den Stretch freuen! Bis BT21 wird nicht mehr geschnitten – dann steht das Lollipopping und eine ordentliche Entlaubung an. Ich hoffe, dass alles reibungslos läuft und keine Pflanze zwittert.

Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There’s also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

The End is near. Can’t wait to harvest and dry them. Next 2 Weeks I use to flush them. I think then they’re ready. I’m very proud of the purple BigBud. She’s purely looking incredible. What do you think ?
