Hey now! So after 8 days of drying, and 6 days of curing, I just tried the Sour Diesel in a glass water pipe, and she is freaking amazing. She burns nice and slow, with thick clouds of smoke, and tastes exactly like she should, like a sour/citrus/fuel with a very nice aftertaste. I ended up with less than 20% of wet weight, but I am so ecstatic with the quality, I could freaking care less! I have a fantasy football draft on Saturday night, and I can't wait for the rest of my league to sample her! I had so much fun with this grow, from constructing the watering/draining system, to learning more about photography and video, to meeting everyone in this community, and finally to smoking Nugs that I actually grew! 11/11/19 - All is good in the hood. I love comming back from a couple of days away to see how they look. I did dome defoliation last nigh. Took off some lower branches and leaves. Mostly spindly branches. They are loving the feedings. 11/12/19 - I figured out something tonight with my lighting. I think I have it too low since the plants that right under the light are getting a little bleached and are a lighter green then the plants that are not directly under the light. So I moved it up as far as it could go w/o modification. Let's see what happens. 11/13/19 - From the responses to my question that I received from the pros today, I moved the light back down to 24". 11/14/19 - Did a BUNCH of defoliation tonight. With the SOG it was hard to get under everything. I opened the tent all the way and crawled inside to see so many little stragglers. I hope they do not get shocked too much. I also posted a new vid tonight. I need to do some better lighting next time I will try my headlamp. 😀

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

Apple Strudel week summary can be closed in one sentence__she loves to be fed. I have her drip set to run every 8h, but when I am around I always give her a few extra minutes. It makes her happy. My human form is too small to deal with __this magnificent monster of a plant__ getting her in and out of the wardrobe gets harder every time. So I do all maintenance ASAP to avoid unnecessary mishaps: topped her up with coco coir, cleaned the pipe, sorted the fans & calibrated & cleaned the pH meter. The second plant is parked under the drying space, under the far-red Sylvania lamp. It is only a temporary solution __when the arctic weather eases, she goes outside. Peace.👽 P_S_ I just watched an Al Jazeera full programme on UFOs. They got so many things right. Scary.

Happy with the amber percentage so chopped her down today 17/01/24. Some quick trimming of biggest fan leaves and then into dryer before it’s full dry trim. Final dry weight after trim 116.8g

9-9 Recharge 750 ml Removed first leaves, bud site not ready. 9-11 Day 17 She was getting kinda tall, so over she bends! She was stubborn, but resistance is futile! Bent the day before water. 9-12 Big water, around 2-2.5 liters. Brought soil to where it should be. Will try to maintain 45-55% on eco witt. 9-14 This thing is growing great! Little sad I had to remove a top leaf. Just no way around it. Pistols for 3-4 days. Starting flower tomorrow and top dressing! Lets go! Leafs up!

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

The others are looking OK. I may have seen first pistils... Man, that plant is really taking off. It's finally starting to look just like the good old Gas House Parent. I can almost smell it already. Can't wait to see how much bigger it gets! By the start of the week I’ve noticed magnesium deficiency on plant A and B, so I started adding Biobizz Calmag on Froglord’s kind recommendation. Otherwise I started slow defoliation process and I’m currently removing around two leaves per day. Plants definitely grew larger than expected but I’m not mad :D. They’re taking a bit longer, but it should be worth it. I’m expecting harvest on plants C and D soon.

and every day we come closer to harvest hmmm time is torture now. best grow i ever done nutrients controlled only once in week plant very vorgiving all my mistakes. awesome. i bend the side down and well im breake it so i hope he will survive and i call it planed HST.
