Significant decrease in pest population, now needs a high quality compost top dressing for long term correction

Hello Growers! Nice to finally join the club! 😁 This is a step by step of my very first attempt at growing from Start to Finish. It's something I've always wanted to do and I've researched a lot of over the years but now is the right time to give it a go as I have become a medical user of cannabis and the price just keeps going up!! 😂🤦‍♂️ So without going on too much let's get down to the nitty gritty... I Dropped the 1 seed into a glass of 5.8 PH water on 10/05/21 which I also dechlorinated, waited until she sank then placed her between two damp paper towels inside two plates in a warm, dark & humid spot (bucket) until the tap root showed and was about 1/4" long then she went straight Into media on 12/05/21. Day 1 - 15/05/21 - first two baby leaves open & lights on! Day 2 - 4L Humidifier added, seedling just under 3" tall ALREADY!!! So I've lowered the light from 23" to 15" to try and stop the stretching. Day 3 - 17/05/21 - Checked on my girl and she's the same height as yesterday so hopefully the stretching has stopped 🤞 I also built a T-bar diffuser for my humidifier using some 32mm PVC pipe and fittings (Photo Above) I'm hoping this will distribute the humidity more evenly so I can have the humidifier on less often, I'm getting puddles of condensation forming in the bottom of my tent which is annoying! 🌊🌊🌊 😂 I'm hoping it might save me a bit of deionised water as well? 🤔 Day 4 - The T-bar diffuser I installed on the humidifier is working well, The RH is staying up and so far no puddles! ⛲ 😂 I will get a more comprehensive reading of highs and lows over the next few days and get it dialled in the best I can. I also think that because there is a lot of red LED's in this Mars Hydro light that may also contributing to the stretch during my girls early stages of life. Thankfully she is looking great and the stretch is massively reduced now that The light is lower. 😁 Day 5 - 19/05/21 - So far So Good! 😊 The stretching has definitely stopped but I'm still worried about her getting so tall so fast!! So today I installed a small 6" fan in the corner of my tent to try and get her stem to thicken up a bit, this is set to run only when the humidifier is on otherwise it screws up my RH and Temperatures. I also plan to bury her an inch or two deeper when I re-pot 👍 apart from that she's doing great! 🙂 Day 6 - 20/05/21 - No major updates today she's just looking happy! 🙂 Today's Environment Readings: Max Out (Probe) - 24.2c Max In (LCD Screen) - 23.8c Max RH (LCD Screen) - 81% Min Out (Probe) - 18.8c Min In (LCD Screen) - 18.7 Min RH (LCD Screen) - 47% Day 7 - So that's week 1 done & It seems like I've gotten all my temps down now, 👍 she's no longer stretching, humidity and temperatures are staying where I want them and my little girl is looking healthy 😁 No nutrients for the first 7 - 10 days of her life just water 🚰 set to PH 5.8 and dechlorinated. Day 9 flower: Orange Sherbet: This girl is a pleasure to grow so far. Her budlets dwarf the others in the room so far and at only 9 days flowering , shows a good indication of the overall finish she should have. she is packing buds on all over her structure now and following her defol on day 7 , she has really pumped them up. The shogun boost is a killer concoction it seems. Cannot fault this lady at all to date. She is slightly tacky now too which is a shock for her age. Cookie Kush : This lady is a midget !!! She is a lot smaller than other kush strains i have grown but looks healthy enough. I think her housemates dont help as they are all such good growers. She is big enough to keep up with the canopy but will need encouraging constantly to match them at some point.

I added a second layer of trellis and everything is looking nice and filled in. I will be defoliating and cleaning up the lowers on 11/9/18 (day 21) for better light penetration. I think everything is pretty much done stretching for the most part now time to start fattening up. Got some samples of Fish Sh!t organic soil conditioner from the local hydro store that claims to increase yield, flavor, and nutrient uptake so I will be adding it in the mix to see if I notice anything different.

Place the Matrix Pad on the surface of your plant, the Matrix Unit on top of it, press down, fit the Circulator into the center holes, and connect your 1/4" OD tubing to the Circulator. Day 50 Update: Looking great, feels back on track! Definitely a few more weeks to go, but really about the healthiest the plant has seemed to me since before vacation. Monitor and water for now. Going to check some growing guides to see what I might need to do over the last few weeks. I'll check back in most days this week with a whole plant and main cola shot. Otherwise, not much to do but watch and enjoy! Day 51 Update: Pics added, probably just dechlorinated tap tomorrow. Might get one more dose of Big Bloom, but otherwise, I think my soil might be hot enough to just go with mostly just water the rest of the way. There's a few lingering yellow leaves of little concern but still feels as healthy as it has been overall. Day 52 Update: Water tonight with a small dose of Big Bloom (0-.5-.7), half of recommendation so 20 ml in 1 Gal. Video shows some yellowing on lower leaves, feels too early in flowering, but I don't know. Still seems healthy otherwise. Day 53 Update: Left the light off while I was at work, so lost a few hours of light. Maybe a good thing because it was hot today and the tent was 78 degrees with the lights off. Anyway, things under control now. Yellowing didn't seem to get any worse so I think maybe Tiger Bloom Friday and only once more after that, something like days 55 & 61, then just water until harvest. My guesstimate is around Groundhog Day (day 71), but I've been reading about when to harvest, so I'll let the plant tell me when it's ready. Day 54 Update: Yellowing spread a bit too much for my liking at the stage its at because I know the under-watering set its schedule back a bit. The other plants got their first Tiger Bloom tonight and while this plant didn't need water, it got a little bit of that as well. Not much, .5 L maybe. Next water is up in the air because of that now. Some really nice reds/purples are starting to show at the bud sites! I went through all my pictures of this plant earlier tonight. My LST was pretty sorry on this, so I kind of really did just let this plant grow as it does. My other grow is still benefiting so learning is happening. Day 55 Update: Just a couple new pictures. Water Sunday probably on Day 57. Not much else to say. Day 56 Update: I will check if she needs water later tonight. The yellowing continues to spread, but a couple are going yellow to a red-purple hue so might be somewhat normal. Looking to other PPA diaries to see what weeks 8-10 might entail.

🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. All of it under ThinkGrow Model Ones powered through the Trolmaster ecosystem — everything syncing in harmony. This run was stable, lush, expressive — a grower’s dream. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive.
