Day 37 - Hitting the ladies with a little LST. My cloner project took a bit of a backseat to life, so I'm a little late in the game to top these babies.... So I decided I'm going to do something I have never done before.... Let these plants grow naturally. Yeah, you read that right, I've never let a plant just grow out without some sort of fun training technique. Even my very first grow was riddled with aggressive plant shaping. This time will be different! This time I will be just doing some very basic LST to open up their branches to more light. I went in and stripped some of the inner growth sites that would have produced nothing but popcorn buds being so hidden from light. I then created anchor points around the grow bags by pushing toothpicks through the holes in the mesh. I like this because it gives me the ability to easily move around anchor points by simply sliding out the toothpicks and moving them where I please. I got the idea from seeing someone else use pushpins once, but I didn't have any on hand. And so, the toothpick hypothesis was born, and so far its working very well! Both ladies look much happier now that they're getting more light to their branches. The leaves on these Blazin' Skywalker plants are just so effing fat that they've been doing a solid job at blocking light to the branches. I tried doing some leaf tucking early on, but the branches just weren't quite long enough for me to properly tuck the leaves behind them and would constantly come un-tucked. She had gotten a bit over watered so I let her go a few extra days between watering. The next morning, she let me know I did the right thing. 💜

Day 21: So we are currently in day 21, I finished all my work for my growroom. They where pushed into flowering 5 days ago. They always need to settle first before even turning into that stage. So my gues that in the end of the next week we will start to see the first indicators. I still gave them veg nutrients this week since they are still in growing stage. I did notice that many plants have weak stems and where sloppy underneeth. Didn't liked that, so in order to have thicker stems and branches I decided to top all the plants ( not showing in these picutues, i did that after making the pictures) Topping your plants will create stronger thick stems and branches! Also removed the first 1-2 internodes on each branch. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant. I can't remember the ''science'' behind it but I have been told that many years ago by fellow OG Dutch growers and Family members. Anyway It is importend to have uneven branches. So 5, 7 or even 9 but never 6 or 8. Normaly I would have loved a huge main cola and it is known by many amnesia growers to not top the plants because they make beautifull thick main colas. On the other hand, when having this much plants on each m2, it will create weak stems and branches. I rather have strong plants with thick stems and branches to transport all nutrients properly and not breaking when having buds on them or having to mayor support them. The leafs, stems and branches look fine to me. No stress or deficiencies. 1/3 of them like to drink thought which is a good thing but it really enjoying. Now I have to weigh by lifting the pots which one needs more or less feedings lol. Instead of giving them all like 5 seconds of water. Might show you guys my feeding ''barrel'' next week. It is a 250L one. Untill next week.

Week 14

Entered our first week of flower. The lights were a tad low so I raised them a couple inches to sit at 12 inches. The girls are doing great. No deficiencys and they are looking happy. Thanks for stopping by.

Black opium has done really well. She stretched a lot since last week. One of the 2 tops has grown taller, even though I've tied it down, but they are reaching towards the light, and the buds are developing quite nicely. So let's see what she can do! No water this week. The soil is still drying out due to fungus gnats appearing. I am getting some sticky traps, just waiting for tgem to arrive. There are so many, and it's definitely come from the soil. Minulý týden jsem nestihl svou týdenní aktualizaci než jsem odcestoval. To ale nevadí protože rozdíl za poslední 2 týdny není tak veliký . Na začátku 14. týdne dostaly naposledy čaj od bio tabs. Nyní už jen čekám na sklizeň 🙂 možná jim seberu velké listy aby lépe dozrály (zatím se rozhoduji).

Fast Buds Mexican Airlines 5 weeks into Flowering completed 18th Jan 2020 Well she's starting to fill out a lot more now and is getting fairly sticky and stinky. Probably another two weeks or so left before it's ready but no rush. The weathers turned a little and is threatening to rain so I'm juggling between moving them into the sunlight then back under cover when it looks a bit clouded and ominous. Harvest time, both divine storm ladies did amazing under the Mars-Hydro TSW2000. Pheno 1 was an absolute monster! Huge dense buds!! Pheno 2, while the runt of the grow, also produced impressive buds. Will update in 7-10 days with weight and initial smoke report. Update - April 16 - dry weight of 47 grams on DS2 and 77 grams on DS1. Results are close to round 1 grow, very impressed with the TSW2000 light!

01/27/25. Welcome to the start of week 4 Things are moving along well. Both the girls have done some nice growing the past few days. Have finally had a little warmer of temperatures. Still not where I’d like it, but I’ll take it. Watered yesterday, slowly, until I got a little run off. They did get food at 2.5 ml across 3 parts. I increased the calmag (1) and silica (2) as well. They have 4 nodes now and I will top them as soon as there’s 5. I was a dumb dumb and left my measuring tape inside the flower tent and lights are off so I’ll have to come back tomorrow and update that. #1 is still a very yellow/light green. She’s been that way since birth lol. She’s growing just fine and seems happy still. I’m not sure why she’s the color she is. #2 appears to be darker green as usual. She’s grown quite a bit and is pretty similar in size now to 1. Update: 01/29/2025-soil was pretty dry so watered both again with food. Plants are really taking off! Smell in the tent is strong, widow is still stretching but the PT is not stretching so much as she is still seeming to try and bush-up so to speak. I have all three plants in the ScrOG net and it seems I will have a full tent. Buds are beginning to form and add some bulk to them as well. Took pictures with lights off this time to show how they’re growing.
