SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on couple of them...about 30% cloudy at most.. TUESDAY: I observed some white spots(maybe powdery mildew) on a few leaves here and there throughout the garden, so I sprayed them today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think they'll be fine. I'll spray them again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because they'll be entering the harvest window over the next few days.

Day 21 Veg today and all 4 ladies are looking mad for it !! All vibrant and green with plenty of strength in their stems. #1 has been trained this past week by pulling her 5th node over horizontal and keeping it held down by moving the peg along each day. Ideally it will need to be kept lower than the developing nodes from 2,3,and 4 which will be evened out as they progress to be the tops. This will avoid the topping and possible recovery time and also keeps the main intended stem. 7 healthy long thick colas is the intended aim using l.s.t and any other means necessary to get the best I can from this vigorous girl. #2 and # 3 are n on par with each other amd just about hitting their 5th nodes. I am going to try topping 1 and doing the same as #1 to the other. #4 has got more size to her now but looks a way behind her sisters. hopefully she will catch up when she sees the attention her l.s.t siblings are getting.lol So far an impressive few weeks for these genetics. So glad I have another few strains of the exotic auto range to play with too. Happy days. Until next time. be safe and well DAY 23 UPDATE I decided to F.i.m the #2 and #3 girls today so took some pics of their braveness. The #1 has been pulled further down and has a lot of willing competitors for main stems. #4 is still way too small to upset yet and may be left with no cuts and just some supercropping ( auto style). Be interesting to see the Fimming results when done too. F.i.m = Bro science term coined from missed attempts at a straight topping of the maiming stem. "Fuck . I .missed" became the term for this method that can produce some really huge tops of multiple heads if caught at the sweet spot of the node lets see what we get.

WEEK#9 DAY#56 :She could use some water . Easy going grow , slow vertical climb multi-lateral branching . I could selectively prune to encourage vertical growth but at this time I think the grow is going fine . I anticipated the plant being larger at this time athough I’ve never grown this strain before to know what to expect I think another 4-6 weeks of VEG will do her nothing but JUSTICE . Still watering to make those dry amendments available . After these 28-31 days we’ll transplant her into her final 6gallon pot . Or atleast I think that will be her final pot I see the benefit of stepping up pot size gradually and honesty think the growth is healthier when done that way I’m just being lazy and don’t feel like up-potting 3 or more times . I just wanna make small adjustments and move on ya know ? Week#9Day#56Update: 2/3 older girls showing signs of flushing, there’s heavy yellowing top of the plant & purple hues beginning to show. The two of them should have 3-4 weeks left & the buds have not even began to swell yet so I’m worried I missed my feeding time after I gave them nute burn beginning of flower so my fear is that my bud won’t swell & I’ve just jacked up my harvest the last half of flower. I’m going to try & get small amounts of nutes in there to help the bud develop without giving too much to mess up the end of flower flush . The final older girl isn’t showing any signs of flush it is the smallest of the 3 & therefore perhaps did not consume as much food as the other 2 girls is all I can think considering all three ladies soil came from the same batch of premixed ā€œsoilā€ they weren’t individually mixed It’s almost time to get these older girls out & get some note-worthy shots of ā€œCellieā€ growing All ALONE into this 5x5. Heavy heavy heavy defoliation. Will pony-tail when the fan leaves grow back out Week#9 Day#63 Update: started pony tailing her tops that are large enough to pin back without decapitating/severing the top . The top dress feeding I gave her still hasn’t become plant available yet. She’s still yellowing . I’ll be glad to see her park back up & continuing growing on. I purchased some worm castings I’ll top dress with a few tablespoons before watering her in & see if that perks her up until the Gaia Green is broken down. Shes almost tall enough to come down off that 1gall bucket even before transplant into a 6gal planter like the older girls finishing up .

Everything is perfect with moderate temperature and humidity. I feel my tree is growing at full speed. When I changed the foundation I watered a little and decided to end this week here and wait for the next watering. I will be planting the remaining plants in the greenhouse so the only difference is the light. I was really curious about the results, as I use 2gal pots for outdoor plants and 1gal pots for indoor plants.

Inhale for 13s, Exhale for 13s, Inhale for 8s, Exhale for 8s, Inhale for 5s, Exhale for 5s, Inhale for 3s, Exhale for 3s, Inhale for 1s, Exhale for 1s, Alignment. 1.618 A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

Last week, last round, last ride! What a lovely journey till know. I checked with my microscope the trichomes and are getting at right point cloudy. My pistils are on that 70% mark I rate, and think that just got the timing right before I exit the apartment. I also think that having a few days available I would have go on a little more. Can't wait to harvest!!!šŸ˜‰

This little lady is looking more hopeful this week. I moved her (well, all of the autos) further away from the photos so she could get more direct sun. She doesn't look great, but I feel like she's working through. The newer leaves are still pretty yellow, but at least they aren't contorted and there's no horrible brown spots or anything. I gave her some of the Coast of Maine 5-2-4 around her base so hopefully she'll gobble some of that up and will look better next week when she'll have gone to flower. Stay tuned!

Week 26 Sweet Love is ready for harvest. Part of Spicy CBD plant 1 is also ready. Spicy CBD plant 2 is a few weeks away. Plants are developing differently on different parts. I think I may explain it a little better with a video. Temperature is back to normal hot with humid air. Humidity and VPD: Hottest part of the day during the week; 34 degree C, Humidity 64%, VPD 1.9 Coolest part of the night during the week; 24 degree C, Humidity 73%, VPD 0.8 62 days of flowering for Spicy CBD plant 1. One branch looks ready. And is dripping wet. However, trichome is still clear and just start to get cloudy. And I have started to trim off the bigger fan leaves. I think next week will be a good time to harvest for this branch. Another branch still looks like it has a few more weeks to go. 50 days of flowering for Sweet Love. Sweet Love is small. The buds looks fluffy and light. Does not look like she would yield much. The smell is very much green mango with a hint of pepper spice. Pulled off fan leaves. On some part, trichome is ready. On most of the plant, buds are ready. I'll throw away the part that is not ready. I don't think they'll do much any more. And Sweet Love is in the shadow of Spicy CBD. 50 days of flowering for Spicy CBD plant 2. One branch looks good. A few more weeks for buds to ripen. The other branch is still young with hardly any flower. Light Feeding with yoghurt and molasses to encourage potency. A dose of light compost tea and another dose of potassium salt to help ripen flower. Bugs and mold are in check. VPD is down a bit but I don’t see a need to spray anti-mold microbes with such fluffy buds. Feeding summary Monday evening – Compost tea ( 1.5 ml / liter compost tea + 1.5 ml/liter humic acid). Tuesday evening – Yoghurt ratio ( 1 liter yoghurt to 5 liter of water) Wednesday evening – Molasses ( 2.5 ml / liter). Thursday – none Friday evening. 1.5 ml/liter compost, 0.5 gram / liter potassium salt, 0.5 ml cal mag.

06/03/19 - unfortunately this was my own fault for being gullible with a mix of just not thinking, but I got a cal deficiency on my OG which was fitting seeing as everything was going well, but I think I have resolved the problem as I’m not see the new growth being affected but I do think it has slowed down in growth abit but I’m guessing that’s understandable, I’m really happy I’ve turned to mills as I can tell a difference from my previous grows, this slight hiccup was my fault but they were that healthy I’m almost positive it’s gonna spring right back šŸ¤žšŸ» 09/03/19 - definitely looks like it stopped growing for awhile as the gelatos are a hell of a lot bigger now compare to my OG but I think the problems been solved as their was only a little progression on some of the newer leaves but the newest set of leaves seem unharmed includeding the side branches. 12/03/19 - a lot smaller than the gelatos but never the less I’ve started the LST/leaf braiding with the OG aswell to make sure the side branches catch up as they were stunted from the cal mag def

Feb 27 I changed the light cycle to 18/6 a few days ago and surprisingly have seen the plants perking during sleep. Orange Sherbet is growing really quickly, I'm going to start Low Stress Training here soon to get these other stems some light.
