24 Stunden habe ich sie in ein Wasserglas getan was Zimmertemparatur hat. Nach 24 Stunden habe ich sie in eine Brotdose mit Taschentücher gelegt auch bei Zimmertemparatur 2 Tage Keimen lassen. Als die Wurzeln ca. 1.5-2.5cm lang waren habe ich sie in Jiffys gesteckt und in einem Gewächshaus wachsen lassen.

Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 😀 The Kosher Dawg stretched 8-10cm since day f15. EC and PH very stable at 1.5 and 5.9. During the next water res change, when all the water is out of the res (so it weighs less) I will try add planks under the reservoir to elevate the Kosher Dawg to a height similar to that of the Runtz (currently approx 15 cm difference in height). The Kosher Dawg took longer to start stretching than the Runtz and the bud development started later. Does this mean I should also do the 'day 21 defoliation' - which should be between the stretch and the focus on bud height development - a few days later for this Kosher Dawg than for the Runtz? Looking forward to defoliating and finding out what she is truly packing under all those fan leaves! 😃

Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

06/05/21 -Riego todas las plantas con 1.8 litros de agua y los nutrientes. -Los cogollos siguen engordando poco a poco, se nota sobre todo en los inferiores, que ahora están llenos de pelos. -Algunas hojas están amarillas pero supongo que será debido a que no les da suficiente luz. Las que están peor son las que defolio, además de 1 o 2 hojas por planta que tapan algunos cogollos. 10/05/21 -Riego las plantas con 2 litros de agua cada una y los nutrientes. -Se nota una pequeña quemadura en los cogollos de arriba de una de las plantas, quizás porque la luz estaba demasiado cerca. Estuve 4 días fuera y no lo pude corregir. -Por lo general las plantas siguen fuertes y sin ningún problema 11/05/21 -No se qué ha pasado pero cuando hoy he abierto el armario tenía uno de los cogollos de CCXLA1 cubierto de moho. Me fijé porque 2 hojas parecían un poco podridas y al tocar el cogollo estaba muy blando. Me puse guantes, corté el cogollo con unas tijeras e inspeccioné la planta buscando otros posibles signos de moho. Parece que no hay más así que dejaré la planta por ahora. La he defoliado más para que tenga más flujo de aire. -No entiendo cómo ha podido pasar esto ya que la humedad relativa del cultivo no supera nunca el 57% aprox y en general se mantiene al 50%. -Ahora toca estar muy pendiente estas últimas semanas para ver si se forma más moho que pueda acabar con la cosecha. Vamos familia actualizo ya esta semana, tengo un amigo que está convencido de que las corto pasadas y que mirándolas con el microscopio pues dice él que ya están. Yo les daba 2 semanas más pero soy muy cabezón, y esta vez le voy hacer caso aun sabiendo que puede que no tenga razón pero, le haré caso. Son 2 ejemplares de Zkittalicious, no saldrá mucha producción habiendo 8 ejemplares más dentro de ese indoor y siendo 300w . Creo que en seco rondarán los 40/50 gs entre las 2 pero no lo sabremos hasta el día de la verdad. Llevan ya el lavado de raíces rapidísimo se le echó el tiempo encima y les di agua esta semana. Veremos también si no varía el resultado final al ser un Corte tan temprano.
