🌱 Sour Diesel — Week 10 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) The comeback story. ⸻ 🔁 Quick Recap — The “Unhappy Girl” That Didn’t Quit This Sour Diesel started as the most challenged plant in the room. Slow growth, stress signals early on, and clearly behind her sisters. But plants don’t quit — they adapt. She stayed smaller (~60 cm), but instead of stretching for size, she focused on recovery and survival. And now, in Week 5 of flower, we’re seeing something special: 👉 A full metabolic comeback 👉 Active water uptake (~1.2L/day) 👉 Healthy flower development despite early setbacks This is why we document everything — not just perfection, but resilience. 🔬 Macro World — What We’re Really Seeing This week, we zoom in — literally. Macro photography shows us what the eye misses: ✨ Trichomes (The Frost Begins) • Tiny resin glands forming on sugar leaves and calyxes • At this stage: mostly clear → early cloudy • Function: • UV protection • Pest defense • Secondary metabolite production (terpenes, cannabinoids) 👉 This is the plant saying: “I’m protecting my flowers now.” ⸻ 🌸 Calyxes (The Core of the Flower) • The actual reproductive structure • Each calyx = potential seed site (if pollinated) • Now stacking and swelling slowly 👉 This is where your final yield is built. ⸻ 🌿 Pistils / White Hairs • These are stigmas, part of the female reproductive system • Their job: • Catch pollen • Signal reproductive maturity At Week 5: • Still mostly white → plant is actively building, not finishing • Upright and fresh → healthy hormonal signaling 👉 White pistils = growth mode 👉 Dark/orange pistils = maturity progression ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding (Dialed In) You kept it consistent — and that’s why she bounced back: • 🌡️ Temp: 28°C • 💧 RH: 60–65% • ⚗️ pH: ~6.0 • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • 🌬️ CO₂: ~1000 ppm • 🚰 Water intake: ~1.2L/day 👉 That water uptake is key — it tells us: roots are active → metabolism is running → recovery is real ⸻ 📸 Plant Structure & Expression • Smaller frame, but balanced structure • Bud sites forming across the plant • No wasted energy — everything is focused 👉 She didn’t win the height race… 👉 But she’s still in the quality game ⸻ 🧠 What This Plant Teaches Not every plant is a monster. Some are: • Stressed early • Slower to adapt • Smaller in size But with stability and patience: 👉 They recover 👉 They produce 👉 They surprise you This is grower discipline — not chasing perfection, but supporting the process. ⸻ 🎒 Official Introduction — Mr. Baggy He’s been around… now it’s official. Mr. Baggy is part of the team. From garden runs to studio sessions — always present. A reminder that even in serious work… 👉 we keep it human 👉 we keep it fun 👉 we keep it ours ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week (Week 6 Flower) • Calyx swelling will accelerate • Trichome production will increase visibly • Pistils may begin slight color change in some areas • Aroma profile will start developing deeper layers ⚠️ Key focus: • Watch EC → avoid pushing too hard now • Maintain airflow (density is coming) • Stay consistent — no big changes ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude From grower to growers: Big love to: • The GrowDiaries community • Everyone following — OGs & new • Supporters, challengers, silent watchers And to the people behind the tools: • Plagron • Zamnesia • The lights above us ⸻ 🌱 Closing She started as the weakest in the room. Now she’s a reminder: 👉 Growth isn’t always fast 👉 Progress isn’t always big 👉 But resilience… always shows 📡 DELETED @ 1K Please stay tuned.we never quit https://www.youtube.com/@TheDogDoctorOfficialNEW 🙏 Thank you for your patience and continued support. Trust me, you won’t want to miss the next steps, let’s push the boundaries of indoor horticulture together! As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Gather 'round, because it's time for the grand finale of my Tropicana Cookies Auto journey. Week 10 has arrived, and boy, oh boy, this gal has been an absolute delight from start to finish. Let's dive into the final chapter of this epic adventure! I harvested my lovely lady at day 69 from seed, and let me tell you, it was a celebration of beauty and abundance. Picture this: a majestic all-girl harvest, suspended upside down for a glorious two-week drying extravaganza. At a temperature of 60 degrees Fahrenheit (15 degrees Celsius) and a relative humidity of 60%, the drying process unfolded like a symphony of perfection. Now, let's talk trichomes, shall we? Oh, those glorious little resin factories! This Tropicana Cookies Auto has blown my mind with the sheer amount of trichomes it boasts. It's like a frosty wonderland, sparkling like a million tiny diamonds. I've never seen trichomes in such numbers, shapes, and colors before. It's a trichome party, and everyone's invited! But let's not forget the benefits of the drying process. By allowing our precious buds to dry slowly and evenly, we're enhancing their flavors, aromas, and overall quality. It's like fine wine, my friends, getting better with age. Patience is the name of the game, and trust me, the reward is worth every second of anticipation. Now, let me take a moment to give a big shout-out to @Fast_Buds. They've truly outdone themselves with this Tropicana Cookies Auto. It's like they sprinkled magical trichome dust all over these seeds, ensuring a frosty experience like no other. They've got the genetics game on lock! So, my fellow cannabis enthusiasts, as we bid farewell to this remarkable journey, let's cherish the memories, the lessons learned, and the joy shared. From seed to harvest, this Tropicana Cookies Auto has captured our hearts and ignited our passion for the green wonders of the world. May your drying process be smooth, your trichomes plentiful, and your buds burst with flavor. Thank you, Tropicana Cookies Auto, for gracing my garden with your extraordinary presence. You've left an indelible mark in my cannabis-growing adventures. Keep cultivating with love, spreading the joy of this amazing and holy plant we all love so much, and remember, my friends, trichomes are like the glitter of the cannabis world—bright, beautiful, and absolutely fabulous! As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey <3 <3 <3 Genetics - Fast Buds Tropicana Cookies Auto Ligth - LUMATEK ZEUS 465 COMPACT PRO

https://lumatek-lighting.com/ <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 Tropicana Cookies Auto is the perfect variety for growers of all levels, especially beginners as this strain performs very well outdoors and indoors, and can produce up to 500gr/m2 in 56-63 days without needing extra maintenance. Reaching up to 110cm, this strain grows fairly tall with medium-sized branching, showing its mixed heritage. Definitely the right choice for those with a high tolerance looking to get their hands on the strongest autoflowers out there. Thanks to the 27% THC, you can expect an extremely powerful and long-lasting high that’ll boost your mood and give you that extra push you need to start your days on the right foot. This variety offers the whole range of citrusy and woody flavors with a strong candy-sweet background that will keep you coming back for more and more. Bud description Tropicana Cookies Auto produces gorgeous dark purple flowers, so expect really dark buds with gorgeous hues of pink, purple and blue, and thick dark-orange hairs that get completely covered in resin by harvest time, giving them an almost shiny-white appearance. This variety develops a typical Indica-like structure and very few sugar leaves that will make your trimming sessions a breeze. But make sure to store your trimmings as the gorgeous flowers reek of a mouth-watering blend of lemon peels, orange juice, and sandalwood that gives it almost a citrus candy-like flavor that makes for the most aromatic hash and extractions.Smoke report Thanks to the 27% THC, Tropicana Cookies Auto’s effect starts with an energizing head rush that gets your mind up and running while leaving you in a nice calm state. As the Indica-dominant side kicks in, the powerful cerebral effect gradually moves downwards and hits your whole body with a deep relaxation that leaves you with a joyful stoney sensation that alleviates chronic pain while leaving you in an overall happy and positive state of mind. It’s the perfect daytime and nighttime strain as it can boost your mood and enhance a night out with friends but can also quiet your mind as you get ready for a good night of sleep. No matter the scenario, expect a powerful high that lasts for hours on end.Plant appearance Tropicana Cookies Auto reaches up to 110cm and develops a tall main cola with shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. You can expect a stocky yet tall main cola with medium-sized side branches and thin fan leaves that fade into a yellowish hue with a beautiful dark purple tint. Thanks to the excellent selection, this variety develops a short internodal spacing that makes the medium-sized flowers look like they’re growing stacked on top of each other. It’s the ideal choice for growers who want to get big yields without having to deal with huge plants, as this monster yielder can produce up to 150g per plant while growing relatively short. Grow tips This variety grows super dense buds so make sure to space out the branches by tying them down, this way you improve airflow which helps prevent mold and other pests. Tropicana Cookies auto reek of a delicious sweet and sour smell so make sure to flush thoroughly to enhance the aromas even more. This terpene heavyweight finishes with lots of resinous sugar leaves that make for fantastic hash and extractions so remember to have your trim bucket ready!Flavor Tropicana Cookies Auto boasts remarkably sweet flavors that resemble a blend of lemon peels and fresh orange juice, with subtle floral undertones that make it the perfect choice for extractors looking for unique terpene profiles. Expect an overall citrusy zest that’ll coat your whole mouth and leave a delicious tropical candy-like flavor aftertaste. The sweet and sour flavors get balanced out with a herbal background that gets stronger as you exhale and gradually opens up, bringing out the whole range of woody, floral, and spicy flavors, making it the perfect choice for the most flavorful extracts

Hi liebe Community and Welcome Back!

Week 12 Journal Entry: The Grand Finale (Harvest Week) Project: Tinfoil Hat (Irie Genetics) & Cherry Burger (Equilibrium Genetics) Environment: 4x4 Grow Tent Lighting: Mammoth Nova Sun LED (100% Intensity) Substrate/System: DWC / Living Coco (Final Flush Phase) Overview & Observations The finish line has arrived. This final week has been entirely dedicated to a strict water-only flush to allow the plants to consume their remaining stored nutrients, resulting in a beautiful, vibrant autumnal fade across the canopy. Tinfoil Hat: The trichomes are locking in exactly where they need to be—roughly 15–20% amber, with the rest completely milky. The sweet, sharp chem aromas are incredibly loud. Cherry Burger: The deep purple hues have completely taken over the sugar leaves. Trichomes are dense, heavy, and showing perfect maturity with a rich, savory, and funky cherry nose. Nutrients & Moisture Actions Inputs: Plain, pH-balanced water. 5.8ph Runoff/EC: Minimal to none; allowing the media to slowly dry out over the last 48 hours to trigger a final stress-induced resin swell.

All plants happy and healthy 💚 Video updates Day 23 26/07/24 Friday De-chlorinated watering pH 6 with 5ml calmag to 5L water. Watered each with 250ml and had small run off. I will continue to feed/water with small run offs to help prevent salt build ups. Video update. Day 26 29/07/24 Monday Nice feed today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. They each had 300ml with small run off. All looks incredibly happy and healthy! The Auto Kabul that was mutated and twisted has pulled herself through and is just a bit shorter than the others. Day 28 31/07/24 Wednesday End of week😁 De-chlorinated water pH 6 today with Plagron pk13-14 5ml to 5L Plagron power buds 5ml to 5L Used 300ml of the 5L solution. I will be using these on water days from now on as they are advised to be used every irrigation. We'll see how they perform 💪💚

* Starting this week with a final 🍃 defoliation, the plants responded really great after every training (LST, defoliation, lollipoping), eating and drinking like real champs 🏋️‍♀️ 🧗‍♂️. * Humidifier 🌪️ makes a real difference, through low humidity (40%-50%) we achieved better VPD -> more transpiration -> faster growth, the plants enjoying it. * Gemma's crystalize NPK for bloom, collaborates with the others boosters with no problem (reccomend separate mixtures when feeding). ℹ️ You can see the response on the plants after one day --> updated photos ℹ️ Later this week : The plants eating like beasts, watering almost every day, Buds progressing smoothly, Smells too and the canopy is pretty good in this (0.80m ×0.80m ×1.60m tent size) we are impressed with transpiration rate, game changer the humidifier present.

Day 42 - Kinda crazy how fast it's gotten to be day 42 (the meaning of life - *) in the grow. Haven't watered yet. Plan on doing that with the above nutrient schedule tomorrow or the day after. And I think that might be the last time I give any nutrients to the plant. Pistils are beginning to curl, and I've seen (just a few) amber tirchomes on one bud. I want to harvest on the earlier side because I don't want this harvest to have a big couch-lock effect. Prefer a more cerebral high, although some bodily relaxation is nice too. So I think I will be harvesting at the latest by April 10th (Day 56). Of course I will continue to watch how the plant develops and if no further trichomes are turning yellow/brown in a week, I'll wait longer. The trichomes on the sugar leaves have a wonderful lemon citrus smell by the way. Not what I was expecting, but that's fine 😛 Day 45 - Made a video of the trichomes. They definitely look cloudy enough to me. No more nutes for sure, harvest in 10 days max I think.

Bin zufrieden. Die ersten 3 banana wollte ich ohne amber. Die letzten beiden mit viel amber. Knapp 2 Wochen machen den Unterschied bei diesem strain.
