Got me a cool little gadget, a jewelers loupe. How are the trichomes looking?

I was finally able to sex them all. 1 Male/Hermie, and the rest have beautiful white pistles forming. They are starting to go through a stretch now as well. I also ordered some more grow lights 3 Mars Hydo TS1000's. I can't wait for those to arrive.)

Total days above ground: 63 Total flower nights: 24 Just beyond 3 weeks into flower and the plants are showing their potential. Three Animal Mints are lookingn strong. AM3 may have a highe rleaf ratio around buds, but should be some nice colas even if a bit more work to trim than the others. This strain is probably the most consistent pheno-to-pheno of the three, but Kush Mints is quite consistent too. All of the MSNL plants are robust and strong. Second grow with excellent results from this breeder. I did not pay for these seeds, but I am not a shill, either. If one of them grew all whacky like the mountaintop mint, I'd voice the same complaints. The clearly care about such traits in their selection process. Overall the canopy has filled in nicely. I have a couple spots where light is wasted and I'll make some adjustments to the process to fix that for future grows. Now that I've settled on plant size and number of plants, improvements can be made each cycle until it's clockwork. I like the 12-cola vs 8 cola experiement. I've got a fairly long list of edits to make to various sections of my "bible," which means I liked the outcomes of most of my incremental adjustments. Continual, systematic improvement in action... One other incremental change on the docket but not yet realized will be dropping nutrient concnetration once vegetative growth ends. Exact timing will be based on what I see in the foliage. I see some minor tip curl and its a bit darker than I want. So, it may come sooner than later. This'll be something I tweak over the next few grow cycles until I'm happy with the late-flower health. I'll drop fertilizer concentration 10-15% on next refill and see how that plays out. It'll take a couple refills of reservoir to near 100% transition without draining it. If necessary, I'll drain and do a full refill for more pressing needs. A rez scrub before final stretch is coming, regardless. Side note: The impacts of VPD can be enormous. Last year (2025-2 diary) I had a humidifier wick get fouled and RH dropped while VPD spiked for more than a few days, thinking I could power through or that the canopy would soon provide more moisture. Nope, growth stalled in a significant way. By comparing day 34-42-49 of 2025-2 and day 38-42-49 of this diary, I can see a huge difference in growth at same point above ground. The consitency with which i do things makes it fairly certain it's the extende period with extremely high VPDs that caused the difference. Also, interesting that it mostly catches back up by completion of third week of flower. The size difference is nearly undone by this point, though 2025-2 took 4 days longer vege phase to get there. Even so, I still think this grow is more than 4 days ahead of 2025-2 (the difference in vegetative phae duration). Time will tell if the development is ahead of the pace in 2025-2 or whether it's simply mostly an offset due to a less efficient vege phase for 2025-2.

GENERAL COMMENT. Two different realities are populating my humble growroom, by one side we have a vibrant SKR and the other the NL that was destabilised a wile back. This two girls from RQS have lots of virtues, and shooting up many colas, and harvest is looking promising also with the lock in the NL. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO AKA NL - COMMENT. After struggling a lot to curb her deficiencies and spotting, I could rinse off the salt buildup and raise the soil PH, flush, flush, flush little bit of voodoo juice, and only the full organic based nutes made the trick for now, so we are stable, and leaves started to look healthier, spotting stoped but is already in the majority of the leaves. EC is light at 1.1 Stoped taking the runoff since i made the medium treatment, and honestly that got on my nerves now is bulking this colas or die, finito with the over caring thing… One thing to notice is that i have to re do this strain to fully grow it and having a 100% potencial to be able to fully judge, as for now if you do this strain use less of everything, nutes, light, water, less is definitely more with this strain. Smell is the least pungent of the plants i ever done, so if you are looking for a stealth plant this is a good candidate.

Woche 5 Die Money Maker bekommt seit dieser Woche nur noch 12 Stunden Licht, damit Sie in die Blüte geht. Die Wurzeln entwickeln sich auch weiterhin gut auch wenn sie nicht Weiß sind und im Eimer manchmal sehr wenig Wasser ist da die Pflanze sehr viel trinkt. In dieser Woche habe ich an der Money Maker wenig gemacht außer das Lit auf 12 Stunden gestellt und die Dünger Komponenten auf die Blüte Phase geändert. Nach den Topping letzte Woche finde ich hat die Money Maker eine richtig schöne Form bekommen. Bei Fragen einfach die Frage stellen, genauso bei Verbesserungen und Tipps für mich. Transplanted to a 5 gallon pot half way through the week and heavily watered/fed for the next 2 days, then topped for the first time at the end of the week. I used to be so careful about topping plants but it doesn't really matter how heavy handed you are. Now it's about keeping the plants trained and the same height. 2 timelapses this week. Enjoy!

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

TRANSITION DAY 1(35 in Veg) The video is crap but from today. i wanted to see if they upload or it using the apps features. I have now flipped them to 12/12 and am now in the transition period . Both of the girls have played ball with their cousins for growth this week. The Cookie does look smaller than the rest of the crop and will have to work to keep up as they go. The Orange sherbet is a star of a girl. she is well over her mutations and is producing so many sites everywhere. Os took her trimmings and bondage in her stride too. She responded with tons of growth and new leaf formations. Her stems are nice and thick and her structure quaded is perfect for weight and flowering. She is a keeper strain i think. lets see what she flowers and smells like but for growth she is amazing. The Cookie is also trying hard but i think she could get left behind in the room when the fighting begins.. As a freebie from Barneys , anything she does is pure bonus so might make Hash from her whole plant. Both kadies did me proud with recovering from their clipping and i know the TSL-2000 had a great impact too.

Day 107 - Day late and a dollar short on my Update! :P Haven't added any new nutes...just topping up with water on the current base and then will flush around Thursday. The Cookies Kush all look done...pistils been brown and shrunk for days now. The Purple punch still showing a lot of white pistils though and its the oldest of the 4 plants and should be done the quickest (Per Barneys Flower Time Expectations). Am well over the 8 weeks now and will play the flush by ear, like I say, expecting Thursday for a 4 day flush in Hydro but may stretch the current nutes out the end week to see if the Punch Browns (It is fox-tailing slightly...but this can be expected with Purple strains). Apart from that, nothing else to do but wait til harvest! :) Also, have to note...can't say I have sen an increase in frosting using the 10K bulb from where they were before I introduced it a week ago but could be something that's been that gradual, its really been unnoticeable! What I have noticed with it is Cola Leaves starting to Pray, so they're getting some light intensity without bleaching or burning so it has done something...if its beneficial, I can't really say!

Pistals are browning, trics are mostly cloudy with very little amber yet (60x microscope). Leaves are still green, but fading to lighter colour now. A tiny bit more frosting is happening BLOODY Skunk! She still smells of cat piss urine and hasnt been fed anything but Flawless Finish for over a week. I suppose the amount of greenery leaf she had is keeping her fed all this time. The buds are pretty large but considering I used the entire lineup of Advanced Nutrients PH perfect and added in Terpinator, had her under 375watts of intense Vero29 COB lights and 250W of Mars Hydro epistar LEDs... I just do not understand why more frosting didnt happen. Next week will be the kill update and we will see how much WET weight she has. Finally!!!! It’s week 10!!! These should all be finishing up within the next week or so! So excited to get these harvested soon 😍 I started the flushing process on Plant C and will start flushing the other two this week. Let me know what you think! How many days do you think until harvest time??!
