Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of flowering. I got my 2 long and narrow paper bags out. The ones the french bread are in at the store. The ones with the long plastic window in them. I went to the male plant, that I have in a different greenhouse, and got some of the open flowers and pollen inside the paper bags. This is a good male. It has lots of flowers, not many leaves, is not too tall, and is good smelling with the "rub the stem and smell your fingers" test. And the smell stays on my fingers for a few minutes, not disappearing in a few seconds. Careful not to dump out the pollen I slid the bag over the buds I pick out. I pinched the bag around the branch and held it with a clothes peg. I gently shoock the bag to get the pollen to each flower pistil. When I closed up for the night I shoock up the bag again. I gently took the bags off the next morning, careful not to spray pollen all over the place, then went a got some more pollen for the next plants. and repeated for all 6 plants. Got some yellowing of some of the older leaves. This is sort of self pruning to me, but I will add some extra nitrogen next time to slow the yellowing. I've seen a few fungus gnats around, but nothing to worry about. Ok. The Adventure Goes On. Be Great. Chuck

(Batch#1)Nothing much to report this week. All plants are growing steadily and healthy.Most plants doubled in size and grew wider.

Obvious indicas starting to bulk. sativas still stretching.. Started upping additives for resin and terpene production. Not sure if it's worth it on unknown strains, but giving it a go anyway.. I know what these seeds produce in soil, so should be able to compare end product.. Getting problems in the kratky..Changed over to using vitaponix (bought a sample pack) - and am getting what looks like root rot.. Ai is now telling me it could be a good time to lower my Canna a to 2.5mlpl and keep b at 4mlpl. to lower nitrogen intake. give that a go next week. Have combined week 4&5 pics.

Day 1 Kinda fattening up now. I guess I'm getting close to the end now. No feeding so far. Trichs are still mostly clear on the buds (with some amber and cloudy in between) so I'll need to wait some more for the flush but it won't be long... let's see... Nutrient values above are still at 100% from the last feed but next feed I'll back down for sure. I'll go 75% next time, maybe 50%, maybe 0% and I'll flush depending on how she gets along...

Day 13 - Actual start of the Grow Diary today. Day 14 - She is looking good but developed a weird yellow spot on one new leaf. Gonna keep a close eye on it! Tip - For anyone who is still taking pink/purple pictures, pick yourselves up a pair of growroom green glasses they work perfectly for taking pictures under LED Lighting.

Plant is doin ok I noticed she's a little bit smaller than other phenotypes, but soon she will grow like a monster as she prepares for flowering stage, so I decided to start LST. As you can imagin guys, is my first LST and you may guess what happened 😢 Yes I broke a branch (with little sprouds) , Will I have serious consequences at harvesting? ****I confess i smoked the broken branch and the leaves (haven't smoke in months!) Man, now I can see this will be some trippy sh^t****

This Zamnesia Super Boof was the last plant to be vegetated, and although it vegetated much less than the others, it gave us an equivalent harvest. MID-WEEK UPDATE: Gave the twins their second last feeding today. A few nights of 14-16 Hour Dark periods as well due to plans/not having timers but as I said before I think the longer Dark periods have really sped up the flower development. PURPLE IS STARTING! Some very nice purple is starting to come into the cals and sugar leaves 😈 Going to push some lower temps in week 8 to get as much colour out of them as possible. Arnold still heavy fan leaf fading. Ran straight water through the medium before todays feeding incase any build up nute locked it. Never fully bounced back from the last feed but also getting near the end. I have a feeling I'll pull Arnold first in week 8 then maybe let Danny go for a more couch lock. Danny: GRAPE SMELL. Holy, I don't know if it's more of a Grand Daddy Purp pheno or what but holy is the grape smell off of Danny insane. Almost like a different strain compared to the smells off Arnold. WEEK 6! HOME STRETCH OF GLAZED GROW #1! The smell is insane. What started as a premature musk has slowly evolved into sticky ass chocolate goodness, fresh mint/herb, and even some grape/fresh fruit smell on the fingers after defol and mold checks. Noticing a hint of that GASSS too as we start to enter the final ripen. This will also mark the final week of Nute feeding. Fed today and probably two more Weds/Sun. Then will switch to Molasses/Water for Week 7 and plain water for first half of Week 8 before the dry out. As you can see, Big Arnold is showing cal/mag and PH problems. Always bounces back after PH perfect feedings and I've been defoliating the faders as we go to save bud energy. It's been rootbound since mid-flower and I'm sure the whole root zone is a mess. The extra work I've had to put into a soilless peat-based medium like ProMix with a photoperiod plant has been great practice and experience but I'm looking forward to a few round of autoflowers and soil grows to dial back the difficulty settings through the winter months. The buds grow and more pistils are turning brown. O.G. Kush top buds which are just under the light are fox-tailing a little bit but the rest of the buds look nice. I'm watering with BioBloom as the previous week and overall, the leaves are still green so I think it works well. This week, the plants reached the 100th day since the start of the germination :)

11-21 All the girls had a great first week and looking very happy and ready to be topped moving into week 2. Average height of 11.5”. Changed circulation pump from 75gph to 160gph 11-22 Update Topped all 4 resulting in a 10” average. 11-23 Update All responded great to topping and pushing out a lot of new growth. Added video including the mob boss and duct tape moms on the RDWC skid and the older sisters in week 9 overall, flower week 5 in the flower tent that these will move into.

little bit of nute burn but im still happy with how they look going to begin flushing them soon with just water and a little calmag every other water.

The pics are a day old and allot has changed since then.. theres allot more yellowing (fading of leaves).. and the trichomes just look big and swollen.. you can see the kinda mushroom like shape easily.. the smell has gotten really nice.. starting to get that really dank pink smell. I cant find my 420 scope.. but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know she's almost there.. I will chop her down on friday. And start drying it out.

This strain of Kings kush is a smelly one, I still can put my finger on the terp profile yet. Almost a kushy herby dank is all I can describe atm. Growing these plants, I would suggest pruning every second node once you get her into flower since the bugs tend to push up against each other and may cause bud rot. Say ontop of defoliation and try to qork on them on a daily basis rather than lolipoping. Another key thing is to keep rH in range during flower, I will recomend to set it to 40-50rh in flower. Also if you are growing outdoors, Be sure to cover them up during rain when in flowering, I uses a transparent tarp for the last 5 weeks of flower. Save my plants from 9 huge rain events during the last 5 weeks, my plants would of died from br. This strain had some decent cold resistance also! She stay alive with with few events of temps getting down to 4 deg c.
