You can see that the leaves (in week 4) have all remained green. They showed no lack of nitrogen compared to the other strains, because of their slow growth.

Start week 9 From the end of last week i feed Dolomite 9tbs per 1 gal of water to fix soil acidity(hope will help) and no fill any more nutrient. At this point seem to be all plant will ready for harvest in next 2 week. So additional nutrient should be not require on this period, just watering until harvest day. Over all bud of BCN looking good and Pineapple looking better from last week but still smaller than expect. I try to change light hrs. By 12/12(some local professional recommend i will try).

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de floracion de estas Rainbow Melon feminizada de fastbuds. Vamos al lío, de las 3 plantas, me quede con 2 por espacio, siempre pongo alguna semilla de más por si no abriese alguna por no perder ese hueco del indoor. También se trasplantaron a su maceta definitiva, en este caso de 7 litros. Tenían algo de shock por el trasplante pero ya fue solucionado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Day 78 - pheno 1 was cut down, id normally hang dry the whole plant but decided to do it in branches instead. Second pheno has been left in darkness as i haven't had the time to cut. Pheno one is hung up and drying.. Room Humidity 60/60. As soon as she's dry enough I'll finish trimming her up. Then put them into jars. Might use boveda 60% packs but I'll see. Smells strong! The strain has proven to be extremely sturdy compared to the autoflower version. The smell has been a bit problematic. Some terpenes just can't seem to be tamed even with a brand new carbon air filter. I hope this pays off in terms of aroma quality :)

What we observed: • Persistent droop and lack of turgor recovery • Slowed or stalled bud development • Increased risk profile (humidity pockets, potential for rot/microbial issues) At this stage in flower, the plant wasn’t just underperforming — she was becoming a liability to the room. So the decision was made: ✂️ Harvest early, remove risk, protect the ecosystem. Yield was minimal — but that was never the point. This plant served as a living case study. 💡 Key takeaway for the community: Overwatering is not about “too much water” — it’s about lack of oxygen in the root zone. Once that balance is lost for too long, recovery becomes unlikely. Respect to her. She taught more than she produced. ⸻ 🌱 The Rest of the Garden — Absolute Explosion Now… the contrast. The remaining plants are doing the exact opposite.
