The smell is really starting to increase going into week 6 of flower. The buds look like they are in starting to fatten up daily but I have seen a few signs of what looks like could be nutrient burn mainly on the Girl Scout cookies possibly caused by using too much PK 13/14. Some light defoliation again this week along with rotating the pots for better light coverage. Light still set at 90% power. ✌️

**I am glad I saved pics. from weeks 1-3 because I was lagging in getting this account setup** - with that's being said, the "girls" (speaking it into existence) are coming along quite well. My last grow I used Green Planet's: Medi-One from veg - harvest, and although the overall turnout was pretty good, I just felt like I was a little heavy handed. This time I am trying something a little different and I'll be feeding the plants coconut water and potentially: -rice water** -banana peel water -boiled egg shell water -onion skin water* I am trying to do this as organic/affordable as possible, and although I haven't seen many cannabis forums talk about these natural fertilizers in depth (if at all), I have found that they are quite common practices in Indian gardening (if anyone is interested I'll link the YouTube videos). I can only imagine that these techniques are not isolated but, most likely common in Eastern gardening in general.... *if anyone can confirm this let me know Also, I did go ahead and top 3 of the 4 plants at the 5th node. I am going to hold off on topping the runt for a while and will go ahead and solely focus on LST for now. I don't want o stress her any further. **Lastly I am not the type of grower that measures things and has schedules, I admire that style of regiment and see it being beneficial commercially... but this is ENTIRELY about observation and the pleasure of growing personally so, forgive me if I don't have detailed notation lol... I figured nothing could go wrong with 50% amber / 50% milky trichomes. Harvest day, Medical Mass: Huge buds and no traumas but got bud rot because of too high temps. The best I've ever smoked. Harvest day, Pineapplex Express: Got an early trauma when transplanting but handled it beautifully. Potent smoke. Pretty satisfied for a first grow, and I have a lot of changes for my 2nd grow!

Isn’t that hot?” Only if you misunderstand LED physics. ⸻ 🍃 Leaf VPD — Not Room VPD Under LED lighting: • Minimal infrared radiation • Leaf surface temperature runs 2–4°C below ambient • So while room reads 28°C, leaf surface likely sits 24–26°C With RH at 65%: 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in early–mid flower comfort zone. Signs that confirm it: • No tacoing • No stress curl • No bleaching • No claw • Strong praying • Fast metabolism • Uniform green tone We guide with room readings. But we decide based on leaf behavior. And the leaves are calm. ⸻ 💧 EC 2.9 — Why So High? Because the room demands it. Let’s break it down: • High PPFD (850–1200) • Elevated CO₂ (~900 ppm) • High transpiration window (correct VPD) • Strong stretch phase (week 3 flower from seed) This creates a high-consumption environment. EC isn’t high because we want it high. It’s high because: • They are eating. • They are stretching. • They are metabolically active. If EC were too high, we would see: • Uniform tip burn • Dark clawing • Slowed stretch • Salt stress patterns We are not seeing that. We are seeing appetite. Important note for readers: Not all plants should be fed like this. You must read your room before copying numbers. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — Light Haircut, Not Surgery They didn’t desperately need it. Week 3 from seed-flower timing means: They are slightly developmentally behind traditional veg-then-flip plants. Day 47, she's a little late in flowering game but that could mean good things lol idk Funny she I said ahead of all the other plants :) 1 gal is purple but so small, DONT USE ANYTHING LESS THAN A 2 gal for autos! Seriously, lol even I feel you want to experiment; use a photo not an auto lol learn from me :) (though I love my baby plants lol) Okay she isn't getting into the 3rd week soon of flowering and Shen has now turned purple haha was getting worried. But she did veg for 5 weeks, and she's wasn't topped or FIM so just took a while lol Christmas video is up and I couldn't be happier with the results; I've been dreaming of winning a contest like this forever and i finally have the chance :)

The girls are moving along nicely just watering with water ph to 6.4 this week as I top dressed with Gaia green 4-4-4.Spider farmer Se7000 dialed in at 30 percent and to the ceiling.Noticed some minor deficiencies Day 12 and check soil slurry 50/50 soil/water and the ppm was at 780 lil high at this early stage and the culprit.Going to work on lowering that a bit this week.I did add a top layer of fox farm ocean forest as well which runs a little hot with nutrients rather than the pro mix.I have to remember with these beautiful auto flowers less is better :)

Die Pflanzen sind nun mitten in Blütewoche 3 und zeigen eine sehr stabile Entwicklung. Der Stretch neigt sich dem Ende zu, die Struktur hat sich gefestigt und die ersten deutlichen Blütenansätze sind sichtbar. Die Triebe richten sich gleichmäßig zum Licht aus, das Netz hält die Form optimal und sorgt für eine ausgeglichene Lichtverteilung im gesamten Canopy. Durch die unfreiwillige Umstellung auf ein semi-hydroponisches System läuft das Setup jetzt mit konstanter Wasserzirkulation. Eine Pumpe wurde hinzugefügt, um den Sauerstoffgehalt im Nährmedium zu erhöhen und Stauwasser zu vermeiden. Das System arbeitet zuverlässig, und die Pflanzen profitieren deutlich – die Wurzeln wirken vital, hell und aktiv. Die Düngung wurde auf 6 ml/l Canna Coco A + B angehoben. Die Pflanzen nehmen die Nährstoffe hervorragend auf, ohne Anzeichen von Überdüngung oder Stress. Das Blattwerk bleibt kräftig grün mit leichtem Glanz, und die Blattstruktur ist eng und gesund. Die Blütenbildung schreitet zügig voran – die Budsites sind klar definiert, und die Pflanze zeigt ihr volles Potenzial. Geruch und Harzbildung beginnen sich langsam zu entwickeln, was auf eine starke und gesunde Blütephase hindeutet. Insgesamt präsentieren sich die Pflanzen vital, stabil und perfekt im Flow der frühen Blütephase. Das Semi-Hydro-System liefert konstant Feuchtigkeit und Nährstoffe, während das Netz weiterhin eine gleichmäßige Struktur gewährleistet. Alles läuft optimal für den Übergang in die mittlere Blüte.

Had major struggles with humidity due to cold front, but got it in somewhat better ranges. My planet of the grapes started wilted/ drooping mid week [other strains were fine]. Did some research and it turned out they needed more water.[ I normally water every other day, feed every second feed and I top dressed before flipping].I fed them, got the humidity back in acceptable ranges. I also gave them some tea [molasses, banana peels, Gaia green bloom,all purpose and worm castings] They seem to be happier. Very eager to defoliate at end of this week been taking few leaves here and there but nothing crazy. Decided to build a suspended 2ply scrog net seems to be working great.
