Start of week 3. Week 2 went well, this girl is filling out her bud sites nicely and she's starting to stank :) aside from a hungry nutrient appetite and a bit of deficiency, she's doing alright.

We have reached the final week of flower with these ladies. I plan to harvest these girls within the next few days. The trichromes are pretty much all cloudy with some slowly starting to turn amber. Allot of the leaves have started to turn yellow and are slowly dying. It's natural life cycle is slowly coming to an end. By leaving the window cracked at night, cold air has been allowed in to cool down the room. This helps simulate the autumn and tells the plant it's time to finish. The girls are drinking allot less water. The buds have swelled up and are very sticky. One plant is quite greasy and super sticky. All have quite a sweet smell. Looking forward to the dry and cure to see how they turn out. I have been using the Plagron Green Sensation to help with bud development. However, since we are now close to finishing I have stopped using it. The ladies are receiving just plain water. Thanks again to the sponsors Plagron and Zamnesia. She is doing her thing gave her a good defoliate again to open her up. She had 3 x half ml doses of pk on top of 3ml bloom over the coarse of the week. Pk dropped bloom kept at 3ml. Overall very impressed halfway through this week in the video and boom baby she’s getting there

Hallo meine Garten Freunde. Ich heiße euch herzlich willkommen zum Ende von diesem Grow, ich bin mit der Qualität der Blüten äußerst zufrieden. Dieser Strain hat mich vollstes überzeugt, ich bin sehr begeistert von der Resistenz gegenüber den Schädlingsbefall oder im allgemeinen. Man kann ruhig ein zwei Tage mit dem Gießen im Verzug sein ohne das dieser Strain dir das gleich Übel nimmt. Diese Sorte ist auch nicht so anfällig für über Gießen oder über und unter Düngung. Ich habe in der Mitte der Blüte ein kleines Problem mit Frassflügler ( Triepse ) gehabt, da für kurze Zeit mein Lüfter ausgefallen ist, den Befall hat sie ohne weiteres weggesteckt, ohne jegliche Anzeichen für Probleme. Die Buds haben sich sehr vielversprechend entwickelt und haben einen süßlich tropischen Geruch im Raum verströmt. Wo drüber ich am meisten gestaunt habe war dass man diesen Strain Trainieren kann egal ob topping oder HST das haben die Damen gut weggesteckt. Das einzige was man beachten sollte wenn man die Pflanzen toppt ist, dass man mit einer längeren Anbau Zeit rechnen muss. Von insgesamt 5 sind 5 Seeds gekeimt, leider habe ich ein Sämling verloren. Ansonsten haben sich alle Pflanzen so entwickelt wie ich es mir gedacht habe. Der Ertrag hätte größer ausfallen können, dann hätte ich aber auch größere Töpfe nehmen müssen, und das konnte ich zu dieser Zeit leider nicht. Die Medusa #1 braucht noch einwenig länger. Also meine Freunde wär eine schnelle Sorte sucht, dem kann ich diesen Strain ans Herz legen. Week#11 Gnomo Auto By Kannabia Week#11 Jan. 6th-13th Gnomo Auto is a superb 👌 strain to grow for any grower. She is covered in trichomes and her buds are dense she has a nice aroma to her and she looks amazing 👏.

The garden has officially shifted gears! This week, the "stretch" finally kicked in, and we are seeing the very first pompons (pistils) appearing on all the plants. To support this massive transition, I finally got around to making my WCA to provide the calcium boost needed for these new flower sites. The Game Plan The Stretch is Real: Both plants have jumped in height this week. The Super Boof (grey pot) is stretching with a lot of vigor, while the Strawberry Banana (brown pot) is filling out into a beautiful, wide bush. WCA Production: I spent time roasting eggshells and infusing them in vinegar to create my Water-Soluble Calcium. This is the perfect timing because the plants need calcium right now to build strong cell walls for the developing buds. LST Refinement: I’m continuing to adjust the ties. Now that the stretch is happening, I’m guiding the new growth to maintain an even canopy across the entire garden. The First Flowers: Seeing those white hairs (pistils) popping out everywhere! It’s the official start of the flowering journey. Grower’s Note: The synergy between the Biochar in the soil and the new WCA is going to be huge. The plants look "hungry" for minerals right now, so the timing of this KNF input couldn't be better. KNF Recipe: Water-Soluble Calcium (WCA) (Adding this to my journal for anyone following the KNF path) How I made it: Roasting: I took clean eggshells and roasted them in a pan until they turned a nice toasted brown. This "unlocks" the calcium. The Reaction: I put the shells in a jar and added brown rice vinegar (1:10 ratio). The fizzing was intense—that’s the calcium being extracted by the acid! Fermentation: I’ll let this sit for about 7 to 10 days until the bubbling stops and it's ready to use.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 6 (Feb 8 - Feb 14) Tea Time! This week we introduced our plants to compost tea, made from 1 teaspoon of Roots Organics Bio-Force by Aurora Innovations. There was either a water leak from the humidifier, or way too much humidity in the tent, because the floor was covered in a water. Had to vacate the whole tent, which gave me an opportunity to arrange the plants just where I want them to get ready for the SCROG net in a few weeks.

Today marks a significant turning point in the life cycle of my cannabis plants. I've officially switched the light schedule to a 12/12 cycle, signaling the initiation of the bloom phase. This transition is always an exciting moment, as it kickstarts the period where the plants begin to produce the beautiful, fragrant flowers that we all anticipate. Simultaneously, I have made a crucial change to the plants' nutrient regimen. I've shifted from the vegetative nutrients to pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A and B. This nutrient solution is specifically designed for the flowering stage, and it will provide the plants with the optimal balance of essential elements they need during this critical phase. As we move into this new phase, I look forward to observing the transformation of the plants as they respond to these changes and start producing buds. The journey thus far has been rewarding, and I can't wait to see what the bloom phase has in store.

Ok, so first week is finally here. First off I want to extend a big thank you to the brands Seedsman, MSNL, Exotic Seeds for sending CBG seeds and a big sorry from me for not being able to germinate them. I have made notes that all CBG seeds need a bit of special treatment, Living soils are not great unless they are aged well, and better to just start them in perlite, compost and coir/peat. stupid simple. Now the other none CBG seeds did fine in living soil, same with the herbs but some of the herbs also struggled and has low germination rates like the chives. No idea of the chive seed age as I have not grown them in years so this could be part of it. In better news some of CBG seeds have been replaced with a CBDv and THCv and regular CBD The THCv is a GTR seed vs a Kannabia THCv Seed, curious how these two will compare. Both are a 1:1 ratio of THC : THCv The CBDv is from GTR and the CBD is from CANUK, they sent it alongside the CBG as a "try this out as well" PS still rocking the hoodie, its nice and thick perfect for this time of year. SO onto diary updates, The seeds got their first transplant into smaller square pots at 3.5" vs mini yogurt cups, now I will wait for them to acclimatize into its new size and then transfer up to 1Gal when the time is right. Made a little video of transplanting them and took some extra photos of the herbs that are going strong. Also took a photo of 12hrs after transplant the the plants are looking nice still. I over watered them and let them drain to prevent a spike in EC in the soil. this way the soil can breakdown a bit more slowly and prevent any burning and such. The one THCv seedling I plucked out of one pot is going strong with the cilantro. I did this so their would only be one in the other pot, Will gift this to my buddies who need some plants. Also have some leftover CBDv CBD seeds that I started out of caution, they will be doing the same thing, going to buddies. I'm hoping my one guy takes em all as he was intrested in some of the different cannabinoids like THCv and CBDv and CBG The transplanted medium is amended with lots of stuff and Acti-Sol, the plants seem to do really well on this once they are established. I find topdressing with Acti-Sol is hard and does not work well so it needs to be added into the medium/pot before hand. Outdoors is a bit easier as the roots don't fill the pot to the brim, so topdressing is much easier. Once transplanting is over and they are in their final pot then they will get the liquid feed from the same company, Acadie :) Also first time trying out a Si additive into the soil. Using DE or diatomaceous earth, its now super available but should do the trick. I read studies about it on how adding it into the soil did increase SI content in the plant despite it not being readily available. The mineral wollastonite is a better option but I don't have any on hand. Weird that it comes from a Canadian mine as well. I think that's all, will comeback and update as needed. Fertilizer is going to be added in ml for the whole container not doing the math for what it is per L.

Aggiornamento: Ieri sera ho effettuato topping su tutte e tre le piantine, in giornata inizierò LST per riuscire ad esporre il più possibile alla luce le foglie tra gli internodi! Ultimo aggiornamento: Ormai e quasi finita anche la 3°settimana, ho iniziato LST da un paio di giorni, ho notato che le prime foglioline presentano delle piccole macchie marroni ma credo che sia normale considerando che si tratta delle foglie più vecchie.. Per il resto le piantine sembrano in ottima salute!💪
