I’ve been LST into a spiral so I defoliated pretty heavily to get more light to the lower buds. CBD Star is well on its way with many buds developing. I’ve been keeping it outside during the day and bringing it in to my new space bucket at night. I outfitted the bucket with an 8 inch fan, DIY carbon filter and a 250W Amazon Commercial PAR38 LED bulb. The filter is doing a great job removing the smell. Link for the bulb at the bottom. Cheese is stretching like crazy with some pistils forming. Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.

Not much for change this week. I think she is getting over the shock of the defoliation, lollipopping, and moving her back indoors all at the same time. As time is not of the essence, I'm only looking to get some good healthy buds from this plant. Also, she's my last grow for the year because it will be too cold to grow after this.

01/28/23 - Gave her another round of haircut and lollipop. Under the canopy looks lot cleaner. I have better air circulation and light penetration now. Defol also exposes lot more cola sites to the light. Hoping she doesn't go in shock since it's an auto. She is a late bloome, I am just starting to see more pistils. So most likely she will live in the tent for another couple months! 01/29/23 - She drank a gallon of fox farm nutrients (grow and bloom). I was worried about sending her in shock with latest defol. The way her canopy turned out a day later, absolutely gorgeous 😍! 02/01/23 - Frustratingly did another round of defoliation. I see pistils but she is not ready to come out of vegetation. I might contact ILGM to figure out what's going on here. 02/03/23- End of week 9 for this girl. Still in preflower. The bud sites are getting thicker and I am seeing more pistils. It's nowhere near where I want it to be but I've decided to give it the time it needs.

Goodmorning growmies, Rapier is starting to show some beautiful purple coming from her buds! She is done stretching, she only grew 5 cm this week.. cant wait 2 see her flowers, she has been standing in safehouse last days bc of wet and chilly weather.. and i guess we all know purple loves a bit of chill.....😍👍 I can already smell her, guess the hedgehogs cant wait to get their hair purple!😎👌 Happy growing for all✊ KISS! growing technique: KeepItSimple. things are getting huge. did another feed with 2-8-4 and brewed a compost tea. i bought one of those huge vivosun air pumps and a couple big air stones. just warning the pump get hot! i have really big fan blowing on it and it seemed to keep it a nice normal temp

Plants still stretching. I cleaned the bottoms from small branches and leaves, to give more energy to main buds and to make easy trim

Everything is going great, just waiting on flower tent to finish & these ladies will be going straight into flower😍✌️🏼🌱 Day 40 first day of flower, everything seems to be going ok so far! Day 41 Can see they are starting to stretch!😍

Let’s Go Day 67 from seed !! So this week went real great! 2 Ogreberrys an Bruce Banner started getting flushed! The rest will follow up and start flush next week ! Today the 3 will continue getting flushed while the 3 others get there dose of nutrients, PHd at 6.5! Let’s grow lil ladies let’s grow!!! 5/12/2024 these plants just keep on getting fluffier and fluffier. Did a slight defoliation. The plant I did training on, seems to have better stackage than her sister. If lst doesn’t increase yield, then it at the very least will increase bud size/stacking. 5/19 end of the week, they're starting to pack on weight now. Pistils are turning a super bright orange color that has a pink tint to it that is super beautiful. The camera does not do it justice at all. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone. It's stupid easy to grow and the buds are just getting ridiculous. You could probably drop like 9 of these in 3 gal pots in 3x3 tent and just water and basic notes and do a sea of green style. Watch the humidity though.

Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #1. In comparison to the others she had the least amount of amber trichomes, with most of them being milky though. She could've enjoyed another week of flower for sure, but for the sake of the others being ready, harvesting them all at once was the only reasonable decision. Plant #1 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.
