The plants have good roots now and are sucking up the nutes and picking up the place with their growth rates. The Fox farm soil plants are growing up quick. We switched to feeding them straight water for a bit, we saw a little tip burn so pure H20. We keep moving forward with the LST to try and set up our canopy after the flowering stretch. The light got raised a few inches to give the leaves a little bit of a break.

Leaf management has become an issue as the leaves are getting pretty big and if I were a plant, i'd be feeling a bit crowded. added a reflector shield to protect the bottom area from getting too much light thereby reducing the temperature of the water. moved pump outside of tent to get colder air. insulated pot with a bubble wrap with reflective coating. result: water temp from 28 to 23 degrees.

7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. Defoliated a little and watered in a compost tea this week.

Hey everyone! Another week has flown by for the Stickies, and as usual they haven't slowed down one bit. Flowering sites are multiplying nicely across all plants. Two of them haven't developed the thickest stems yet, but it's still early days and plenty of time to see how things evolve. On the feeding side, I raised the EC by another 0.1, as runoff EC was consistently coming in below input. Plants are handling it perfectly. The box has a clear boss this week. Despite topping, LST and even super cropping on some of the main stems to keep her in check, she's hit the 1 meter mark and shows no intention of stopping, making the canopy uneven. She's being watched very closely. VPD keeps dropping as the dense canopy pushes humidity beyond what the current dehumidifier can handle. If it stays consistently above 65%, I'll be adding a second unit for the final weeks of flower to ensure tight, dense and resinous buds at harvest. First pistils appeared over the last couple of days. Bud formation is officially underway and I'll be supporting it with Big Bud. I love this hobby. At this point it's a full-blown passion, bordering on obsession. Happy growing everyone! 🙌

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it in the best way to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. They have been in there 15 gallon pots for a week now, promix hp , gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 3 tbsp per gallon . I was bringing them inside at night because temps were 12° celcious . I left them outside lastnight. Briefly dropped to 14° for 2 hours.. plants seem to be fine. They smell good too!

Won't be a big harvest from this girl, although the buds are fattening up nicely. Will stop adding PK in the next few days before getting ready to flush in the next couple of weeks. This plant is on the left of the timelapse video.

Plain RO water

one plant is way smaller than the other, probably a bad seed, startet with some first time LST on the small one too se if it gives some result, looks like the smalles one is about to go into flower pretty soon, hope they flower in a bout the same time as i only have one tent and need to switch to flowering lights when they start flowering. looks like they are happy in there though, another week done! Utdatert: they both started flowering during week 5, switched to flower lights now and just waiting for the good stuff

Day 65 - Pics/Vids..... Everything looks good......stress bent them into position and defoliated ..... lots of flowering now..... ..... hadn't actually measured them for awhile, and updated the height, 44 cm .... tested out the lights higher, 40cm away, and seemed to slow down growth... so moved em back, 20-25cm... watering is the same, bottom saucer feeding, 850-1000 ppm dutch master one flower 5-8ml/lt.... actually using about 12-15ml / 1.8l....... Day 70 (10 wks) - Pulled em both out of tent, flushed em and trimmed em abit, took some pics/vids in the sunshine. ...... the soil started smelling bad, - stale, moldy, damp, soil smell..... so i did a full flush out on both.... noticed afew gnats, been afew since the start, but haven't really been many.... i'm going to try out a UV bulb, and also a usb uv led bug trap ..... just ordered them.... posted a pic of both... see if they are any good..... 😎

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. So after 106 days + 11 days drying im finally done with my first grow. Got 97g dry buds + 30g shake Way more then i anticipated. Alot of the buds are pretty airy but the top ones qre pretty solid and all of them have amazing coat of trichomes. Im so greatful i had this experience. I learnt alot and have way more confidence to grow more and my plan was to have my first grow to anwser all the questions i had. Im cant believe i spent less then 300$ on this setup and harvested equals to like 1,500 - 1,700 $ of buds(prices in my country) thats definitely going to help me with the economy situation right now. And all this was stealth inside my closet, i had family members comming and didn't notice nothing i just had to turn off the blower fan since it's the only thing in my setup which isn't stealth. I know i didn't gave her the best conditions but she showed me how strong is a Cannabis plant 😍 Im just starting my 2nd grow - Auto Northen Lights. Stay tuned
