The girls have been very busy making golf balls this week! The cookies are also starting to frost up 🤗 At the beginning of the week there was not much to do, the girls had stopped stretching and were settled in. In my 2x4 tent, all I had to do was tuck fold the leaves to open up the bud sites. I basically did the same for my big tent. Simply moved some leaves from blocking sites, and plucked just a few that were rather large. They are still needing to be watered every 72 hours or so. I have been keeping to a feed, water, feed schedule now that we are into flower. I just started to notice that some of the tops are showing some nutrient burn, just a little, and not every plant. This tells me I have hit their limit with the nutrients, somewhere between 700 and 750 ppm. The last watering I did, I watered to about 10% runoff, trying to make sure that there are no salt or mineral buildup that can cause lockout or other issues. At the end of the week, day 21, I defoliated both tents, not too much, but enough to open up the bottom growth a bit. Also tidied up the lower portion below the trellis, as this just wastes energy and yield from the main colas in the long run. No real issues or problems so far, Happy Gardening Folks! 🇨🇦👊❤️😎💨

D43 - At the beginning of the second week of flower and the girls are loving life. Overall, I'm happy with the flat canopy, but there's one branch higher than the rest on the first girl. I've never super-cropped an auto, so I figured, why not give it a go and see what happens? It's only one branch after all and we still have weeks of flower to go. I also lightly defoliated the girls further. Nothing extreme, just cleaning up here and there. I've been lazy and haven't brewed any compost tea in a while, so I hand-watered the girls with 1.25-liters of water @ pH 6.3 with 25 ml EM-1 to boost the microbes in the soil. I'll brew some tea in a few days and feed the girls then. D45 - Minor LST. The first girl is bouncing back nicely from her super cropping. D46 - I started brewing a compost tea last night using a pretty basic recipe of worm-castings, rock dust, kelp meal, and molasses. Today each girl got 1.25-liters of tea @ pH 6.5. I set up automation to control the RH in the tent using an Inkbird controller a while ago, where the humidifier and the extraction fan are hooked up to the controller. If the RH goes above the set value, then the fan kicks in to extract the humid air, while if the RH goes below, then the humidifier starts. With a stable temperature, it works like a ghetto VPD controller where the tent is in the ideal VPD range during the 20 hours of light but still in an acceptable range during the dark hours. Controlling the environment is always a headache in a tiny tent, but this system works exceptionally well, considering it is cheap and basic. D49 - We have reached the end of the second week of flower and everything is going great in the tent. The grow is pretty much running itself now that most training is done and the watering system takes care of the irrigation. I'm still dialing in the system though.

Gorgeous looking plant, you can tell she's definitely an indica strain by those beautiful fat leaves that she has, I'm very excited to try this strain for the 1st time, and also it's the first time I grow a strain from this Spanish Bank from the canary islands! I'm pumped to be able to grow her this year, let's see how she performs!!

Week 10 is all done. This plant is by far the most beautiful cannabis plant I've ever grown. The genetics are amazing. Everything from the bud structure to the fading patterns is what you want to see in a plant. The smell is amazing and it is completely covered in trichomes. More than last week which I didn't think was possible. They just look completely frosted over now. Can't wait to smoke test! I will do a video of the harvest and maybe some timelapse videos to close this grow out! Thanks for following along!

Coming along nicely now, some weight starting to be added to the buds. Leaves are quite frosty. Smells very sweet like candy.

Everything is ok Growing faster than i wish. I should defoliation again and put some clips tomorrow. Need some topping after almost a week. Its health and fine.

Harvest at day 69/107. Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed with the mainlining technique. Final yield is good overall, but the 8 colas got really different from each other, which is not supposed to happen in this method. There was 1 huge cola + 1 very big + 2 slightly smalled + 4 medium/small

At day 105 from seed, 59 days since the switch to 12-12, she is looking fine to me. I estimate that she'll be ready in 21 days from now but we'll see. She smells great, like sweet citrus and skunk, but not strongly. Not much to report.

Monday It’s beginning of week 4 and they are doing pretty well. The main stems are hard and strong and it’s impossible to bend them at that point. I am practicing a very light hand LST everyday like I am showing in the video. Tuesday Watering for both of them , you can follow the (simple) process in the videos. The plants are doing great except for a little issue on one of them that I will show you tomorrow. Topping or not ? May be beneficial so I’m about to do it. Fiming maybe ? Thursday Topping on video ! The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/2- Eight weeks since breaking ground and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod is really starting to get going now despite our extremely hot and humid weather. The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. 7/4- 🎉HAPPY 4th of JULY!🎉 The FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo has taken the heat like a champ and is transforming into a very LARGE and beautiful lady! She's over 5 feet tall now and is stretching! She has maintained excellent vigor, color and has shown great resistance to pests and other stressors! 7/6- Yesterday we had a thunderstorm pass through early in the day, which provided about an inch of rain in a short time. I went ahead and watered in the afternoon, but only gave the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod approx. 3g of water from the well, via garden hose.🌱🚿. 7/8- The daily watering continues, as does our blistering hot🔥weather. All is well with the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod and today, after watering her with 5g of well water, I gave her a good going over, looking at all the leaves topside and underneath and removing any leaves that were either yellowing or had other issues. Well folks, Week Eight is a wrap and the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds is going strong! See ya next week! Pistols everywhere now, I was getting low key worried lol I've done a bit of trimming here and there in the last week. Pretty much all set for their final run into flowering. I might trim off a few more of the tiny branches on the bottom. They will need to be pinned down a bit here and there. I really need to get on that. Reservoir topping off has started now, they make it roughly five days before I need to add a bit of water.
