This week of growth was good for the Platinum OG from MSNL seeds Even tho it's still spring here in Australia , my part of the country is already experiencing days over 40 degrees celcius 😐 With a forecast of up to 42 for this friday the 1st of November 😥 So I have reduced the lighting time down to 14 hours for all of my seeedlings, to give them an extra break from any stress they get from the high temps. Other than that I continue to just give them water when they need it , Keep it simple is my way of growing . Cheers as usual for stopping by 👍v

Woche 6 beginnt.

Whats up BUD! did some mild trimming and training on lower branches and fan leafs. These ladies have stretched more then 6 inches this week and the bud sites are coming alive

Left tent is a week ahead. Fair amount of stretching this week. This time I’m paying close attention to keep flower sites high up. My experiment with bottom lighting did not went so great. I had a record yield but the quality was really bad in about 30-35% of flowers. Weak density. I’m definitely going to try again from the beginning but not this time. I have to pay attention to not let any plant get to big of a dryback in veg. It really influences the later stretching and make the plant too compact in sensitive cultivars.

Okay so this week things have started to really take off in every way. Buds glistening and fattening up more by the day. Extreme resin production on the cereal milk, sugar and fan leaves on the cereal milks are COATED in trichomes. The wedding cakes also have a fair resin production and covered in trichomes and are seriously starting to fatten up! The smell is very pungent and come out of nowhere compared to last week. The wedding cake has a sweet, earthy Almost vanilla like smell and the cereal milk has a very pungent cookies sweet smell with hints of fruityness. So far so good cant wait to see how these turn out. Been told they are 8-9 week flowering strains from other people who have grown the same Cuttings so not long left!

I will need to put her in natural sunlight to cool her down. She is not coping to well with the light penetration. I will keep a close eye on her over the next few weeks!

So far so good, eager to have the auto flowers finish up so I can focus on the photo period. Both auto flowers are being fed full strength with big bud powder added as well. Trained the photoperiod with plenty of lst hoping to start flowering her in 2 weeks max

Just about done now. I think i'm gonna take down 2 and leave 2 going another week! Dank greasy and sparkly! Should be a great smoke, but i'm worried about these fatty colas. i hope they got enough airflow!

Flowering week 10.

Hello Diary. The first week of flowering is over, the plants have grown over 50 cm, the branches have spread and now they have already started to crumple. Specifically, the Watermelon Auto has grown to 50 cm, while its roommates, Purple Punch, have grown to 60 cm. Purple Punch # 2 that sprouted a few days later has now outgrown Watermelon by a few inches. Along with the height, and in width it has expanded greatly and has rather dense branches. On the lower leaves I noticed the appearance of yellow-brown spots, I probably overdosed with fertilizers, I will see how they will behave further. The flowers started to form, so I have new motives to photograph. I water every two to three days, when each plant gets about 2 liters of water. I add food at about every other watering. Sometimes biobizz and sometimes I put Easy Grow or Easy Bloom tablet, depending on the stage the plant is in. p.H. I always adjust the water value to a value between 6.2 and 6.5. Conditions on the Farm are more or less satisfactory, the temperature is about 25 degrees while the humidity is slightly lower than satisfactory, varying between 40% and 50%. At the beginning of the week, I also changed the light regime to 20 hours of the day and 4 hours of the night. Here’s a brief overview of the past week. 18/02/2021 - Day 23. Watering. I adjusted the water to 6.3 p.H with Plagron’s Lemon Kick and added 1.5 mL / lit CalMg preventively. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 41% humidity. 20/02/2021 - Day 25. Watering. I regulated the water to 6.4 p.H, I added 1ml / lit CalMg and BioBizz as scheduled for the first week of flowering. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.4 degrees and 43% humidity. 22/02/2021 - Day 27. Watering. This time I watered only with water which I regulated p.H at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.6 degrees and 40% humidity. 23/02/2021 - Day 28. Photography and height measurement. May 11th As you can see in the photos, we're really running out of space now. Spiderfarmer suggest going no closer than 30cm in flower for the SF4000, and she has grown so tall that that gap between the main cola and the light board is now 25cm. Uh oh. All I can do is bend her over a little with some string, but so far there's no sign of damage or stress... yet. This is what I get for not topping I guess, but we live and learn. Even once might have been enough to avoid this. I've added a second fan on the other side to compliment the first, blowing upwards to get some air circulating around the main stem. The flowers are really starting to come in now, and although I can't smell much when I'm in there, the smell follows me outside. My clothes pick it up and suddenly I'm getting whiffs of it while writing this entry. Other than the new fan and the quickly diminishing head-space, there's nothing else to report. She's growing beautifully and I couldn't be happier! Fingers crossed as always.

6/30/26 This resilient little sweetie isn't done growing! Its a shame i didn't get my lil 3x5 outdoor tent sooner but alas better late than never. The capertillers (yeah thats how i say it lol) really did a number on her main stem and fan leaves. Honestly it shows how tough and resilient these girls are. Also the extreme conditions they are growing in cannot be underestimated or understated. Feels like 103 with level 11 Sun intensity! This baby is making a few nice stinky flowers too. It seems like when i make a note of some gearbo need in my diaries itd not long before it comes to fruition. Ive been working really hard being extra meticulous and I'm taking more detailed notes. I would love to compete and I would really love to win a Cannabis related grow contest or cup or award and get some recognition and sponsorships maybe even a career 🤔 😉 🤞Probably not off of this poor girl lol happy growing friends ✌️
