Welcome to Flower Week 1 of my Tiny Pot Journey! Pistols are shooting out of all nodes. I started the week off by adding a pinch of Gaia Green's All Purpose & Power Bloom to the top layer. After that, topped up Herbie with a couple finger fulls of living soil. 😉

Nothing to exciting this week, plants are doing well. Little bit of stretching going on and starting to smell more and more now. The newer growth is a bit lighter in shades of green then the old stuff. I think this is from me dividing the flowering nutrients into 4 weeks vs all at once as they tend to get a bit of N tox when I give it all at once so this seems to be doing better. Clones are same old, just waiting for the weather to get nice. Found out that when I use Insect Frass as a fertilizer it's also adding in chitin "a protein found in bugs, crustaceans and fungi" to the soil, when that stuff breaks down it makes chitosan and that can help boost defences against pests and virus in the plant. There are plant additives out their that are pure chitosan in varying concentrations and they use this to make the buds extra frosty. To much can harm the plant though. I also found out I needed to water them a bit more then normal not that the stretch is happening. so they got 6L this week each vs the regular 4L but it was split up in 3 days. In the first bit they got all the additives i normally do and the other bit was just PH'd water, didn't want to over load em. Hi Growmies, She has been topped and growing nicely, and slowly starts stretching through the ScrOG. The plant has not shown any signs of stress after the topping. I will let her fill the net to 60% and then flip her. I unfortunately snapped a branch, which I right away taped and it seems like it’s going to survive with just a little stunt in growth of that particular branch. Have already removed a few of the lower side branches and Will start with a light defoliation this week. From my experience it shocks the plant less than doing big batches at once. Roots have started to grow in the tank, which means that another growth spurt is to be expected soon. Thanks for ready and apologies for the delay. Merry Christmas :)

Back to lst, my homemade scrog wasn’t too good so I decided to order a professional one for the next grow in the meanwhile I tide them back doing lst Also now they are really growing bigger and bigger Again not sure if I’m doing a good job only time will speak Got a microscope posted a pic and video of how my watermelon is doing with its flowers, the northern light is still not in full flower but its switching

This week's been an adventure for these Skywalker's. The growth has sped up and therefore they need abit extra now. Repotted into 5L Fabric pots. Added another strip light in. Added a small fan to help strengthen stems Upped the feed from half to full strength. Let's see what the next couple weeks bring before being put into their new home til the end. 🤞💚
