Well... I had a high moment... about 6 weeks ago. Apparently I had set my light cycle to 16 on rather than 18 on... oh well. Still healthy and happy.

Added a 37w 5k few days ago and sat it ontop of another 2 gal so now closer to a bluer vegetation light spectrum. Not bad at two weeks for an organic auto in a .75 gallon dollar tree pot!

Today is day 78 since the plants sprouted, and day 43 of the 12/12 light schedule. In the original tent, plants #1 and #3 are doing great. Plants #1 has a super nice purple color, and its buds are bigger than the other plants. I really wish I made a greater effort on the clones so I could grow #1 again. In the second tent, plant #4 (the one that pollinated/herm'd) doesn't have any obvious signs of growing seeds in the buds yet. I've developed a keen eye for pollen sacks and developing seed pods from my last grow, and so far plant #4 doesn't look like it will be unsmokable. There's a picture of all the pollen sacks I've pulled off the plant since it moved tents, and while most of them are opened, I don't think they had too much of an effect (yet). The buds do seem to be maturing a little early, with many of the hairs turning color, and already showing amber trichomes on the buds. *Bonus* The two little plants in the tent with plant #4 are the fast flowering photoperiods from FastBuds, and they were switched to flower in week 2 of veg because I had to move plant #4 in there. They look like they've gone into flower, but are SUPER stretchy from the light position. It'll be interesting to see how they grow out.

Tuesday, February 9 Fed plants on Saturday 3/4 gallon each. I added 1tsp/ga of Bud Candy and 2.5tsp/ga of Tiger Bloom by Fox Farm. Water was @6.3 pH. I also fed Monday February 8 in the evening. Gave plants a compost tea made with 2 cups of Dr Earths flower bloom, 1 cup of powdered bone meal at a 4-12-0 ratio, and also added 2.5tbs of un-sulfured molasses to 2.5 ga of water @6.4pH. I let tea brew for 24hrs with an aquatic aerator. Bud sites appear to have white pistil hairs continuing to grow and multiply. Stalks look healthy and I’m glad to see the plants finally progress! Temps have been ranging b/w 76F-82F with RH b/w 43%-56%. Ive raised the light as tall as I possibly could to keep stalks from touching the light and causing some burning. Ive also added some bamboo stakes to help provide support to some sites that were touching the LED light, I've also changed to shorter, rubber block supports for the pots to sit on instead of the taller rolling holders to help lower the plants and allow for a little more growth. Excited to keep y'all posted and as always, stay safe and happy growingđŸ’šâœŒïžđŸŒ± Wednesday, February 10 I watered plants 1/2ga each @ 6.25pH with only CalMag and "Great White" Myco to promote healthy rhizosphere activity. I mixed 1.25tsp/ga of CalMag and 0.5tsp/ga of the "Great White". Plants are showing steady growth and the one on the far left seems to be ahead of the other two, makes sense seeing as it was in soil 10-13 days prior to the other two before the early growth medium issues. I can't believe its taken this long for these Autos to begin flowering but Im just glad that they appear to at least finish out now. This has been a great learning experience not only about gardening and this plant but also the opportunity to learn a good deal about myself as this has become a form of relaxation and reflection for me. Keep y'all posted, stay safe and happy growingđŸ’šâœŒïž

This plant was fun the whole way through. I had some issues up front and the plant got super stressed but in the long run she developed one huge bud so that's pretty exciting.

Grow Diaries: Week 9 Veg - Mentha de Croco Mutants Hello, Grow Diaries fam! đŸŒ±âœš Week 9 is here, and while our mutants are small, they’re undoubtedly mighty in beauty and character! Each plant continues to showcase its uniqueness, with details in the leaves that are nothing short of art. As always, patience is the key, and these beauties are teaching me that every step of this journey is worth it. The Flip is Coming! After much thought, I’ve decided to flip the entire room to a 11/13 light cycle. This means it’s time to identify males and let the females show their true potential. Here’s the plan: ‱ Why Flip Now? Despite their smaller size, flipping now allows the plants to reveal their sex while keeping the room’s progress synchronized. This way, I can focus on the keepers and remove the males efficiently. ‱ Revegging the Favorites: By flipping and selecting now, I’ll be able to reveg any standout females later. For those unfamiliar, revegging is a technique where, after flowering, you revert the plant back to a vegetative state. This method preserves genetics you love and allows you to grow clones or expand the line further. 👉 Benefits of Flipping and Revegging: ‱ Speeds up the identification process without needing clones first. ‱ Lets you preserve special traits in the plants. ‱ Adds flexibility in managing space and time. Environment & Nutrition This week, I’ve maintained a steady environment: ‱ Temps: 22°C with about 66% RH. ‱ Nutrients: Continuing with the Aptus Holland lineup—Regulator, Start Booster, and CalMag Boost. The All-in-One Pellets are still providing slow-release nutrition, and the plants seem to love it! Watering from the bottom remains my go-to, helping keep gnats at bay while ensuring even root hydration. The Photographer’s Eye Once again, my Sony A6000 has been in action, capturing the stunning intricacies of these mutants. There’s something magical about zooming in on their delicate details, seeing the interplay of light, and appreciating every curve and serration. Pro tip: The right lens can make all the difference, giving you sharp, breathtaking shots. Shout Outs & Gratitude Big love and thanks to: ‱ Terpyz Mutant Genetics for these incredible seeds! ‱ Aptus Holland for keeping the nutrients dialed in. ‱ Pro Mix Soil for giving the roots a cozy home. ‱ TrolMaster for perfect environmental control. ‱ Future of Grow for the endless inspiration. ‱ Grow Diaries for hosting this amazing community. Note provisoire : 7/10.

2020-07-24 (Day 129) This girl and her GSG sister have cow manure mixed in and this is the first week I’ve added nutes. Leaves weren’t yellowing but I felt that overall the plants were pale throughout, especially compared to her clone. From here on out I’m more or less letting her do her thing. I’ll likely have to add supports once she starts bulking up with flowers. I’ll also have to move her and her GSG sister in my yard once flowering initiates as the sun will be blocked more by my hedges come that time. It’s been sunny and warm with little rain, so far knock on wood an amazing summer for growing outdoor. Stay tuned, flowering is just around the corner!
