25.05. 🌿 Day 25 – Stretching Begins! The plants have noticeably stretched since the last update — a clear sign that they’re moving deeper into the vegetative phase. The vertical growth is picking up pace, but they’re still looking strong and well-balanced. Despite the rapid upward growth, structure remains solid, with thick stems and healthy leaf development. The 19L pots and BioGrow feeding seem to be doing their job — no signs of deficiencies or stress. Light distance and environment are being carefully managed to control the stretch and keep the plants from getting too lanky. Gorilla Jealousy F1 is doing good. She is finally going to her own spot in a few days. She will be switched to flowering, and get a solution change at that time. All the pest were eliminated in the grow room. She was on the other side of the room from where it started. I never seen signs on her, but had to treat to be sure nothing could hide in the room. She had some defoliation done today. She is looking ready to go. The girl looks very healthy and ready for full flower,however I've noticed that she's not a very "big" plant she has the same size as her sister and her sister is in a 15 liter pot and she's in a 25 liter one,however the smell so far on the start of the second week is delicious,very aromatic and sweet, can't imagine how she's gonna smell like in a few weeks more.

These were a surprise freebie from an order from Seedsman a few years back and they looked pretty old when I received them. 1/5 were crushed so I saved the remaining 4 for an occasion like such! Hopefully she'll be a wise choice for the outdoor conditions here and will finish with adequate time. Update*- So far 3 out of 4 of this older gear sprouted and the 4th is just starting to form a tail when I dug it up a little bit (not pictured). I'm thinking the germination booster helped some! I have full faith that the 4th will pop soon.

So, I believe the plant has russet mites. I found some eggs in another grow room. It would explain how the colas are forming. I have had russet mites a long time ago. I have not found them on this plant or any in the room. With being super tiny thus may be the reason. All I can do is rinse her off good. I don't prefer to smoke or ingest any chemicals. I will likely do the smoke report and grind the rest up for infusing. The mites would explain a lot of why it is growing strangely. I treated the walls with neem oil. Once the room is clear I will treat and clean everything good. -Germinated seed in peat pellet and 3 days later sprout popped up -Put peat pellet with sprout in a 5 gallon fabric pot containing Pro-Mix HP -Placed into tent where temp/humidity is constant at 78F 70% -Gave a 3tbsp top dress of Gaia Green all purpose on day 6 -Watering a bit every 3rd day or so

Growth was rather difficult because of the heat, but I believe that this strain is the only one who perhaps kept more than all the others, rediscovering to give me the solid nuggets! Our other solo survivor is still doing exactly what she has been doing from the beginning. Her own thing. 😂🍬 And honestly? I'm really starting to love the way this girl is developing. She's stacking. She's bulking. She's putting flowers absolutely everywhere. She's developing a beautiful structure. She's maintaining that gorgeous colour. And those pistils... Oh, those pistils. 😍 They're not the bright, almost pure white we're seeing on some of the other girls. They're starting to carry a warmer, slightly yellowish tone. And against that beautiful green foliage and developing flowers? It looks absolutely gorgeous. She's becoming one of those plants where you don't need anything dramatic to happen. You just walk in... look at her... and smile. Because she's doing beautifully. 🍬💚✨ ──────────────────────── ✨ THE SOLO SURVIVOR KEEPS SHINING ──────────────────────── I think by now we've officially moved past the "survivor" part of the story. 😂 She survived. She established herself. She grew. She flowered. And now? She's building. Big time. Candy Rain continues to develop at her own rhythm, and what I'm really enjoying this week is how much more substantial the flowering structure is becoming. She's not simply maintaining flowers anymore. She's building them. Stacking them. Bulking them. And filling her plant with them. This girl has flowers everywhere. 🌸🌸🌸 And somehow she still maintains that elegant, calm personality we've come to know. She's not screaming for attention. She's just quietly becoming more and more impressive. And honestly... that's a beautiful way to grow. ──────────────────────── 🌸 SHE'S STACKING ──────────────────────── This is probably the biggest thing catching my attention this week. The stacking. The flowers are building on top of the structure we've been watching develop over the previous weeks. Individual flowering sites are becoming increasingly substantial. The bud structures are becoming more defined. And when you look across the plant, you start seeing flowers everywhere you look. This is the point where all those earlier weeks of development start paying off visually. The framework was built. The flowers appeared. The flowers developed. And now they're beginning to bulk. It's really satisfying to watch. Because this isn't one impressive cola doing all the work. It's the whole plant participating. Flower after flower. Branch after branch. Stack after stack. 🍬🌸🔥 ──────────────────────── 💚 BUDS EVERYWHERE ──────────────────────── One of the things I really like about Candy Rain is how evenly she seems to be filling her space. Look around her... there are flowers everywhere. And that's what makes her so enjoyable to photograph. You can start with the whole plant. Then you find one branch. Then another. Then another flower. And suddenly you're wondering how you didn't notice all those flowers before. 😂📸 She's becoming increasingly full. The individual flowers are gaining presence. The structure is becoming more substantial. And the overall plant is starting to look like one beautiful flowering mass rather than simply a plant that happens to have flowers on it. She's getting there. And she's getting there beautifully. ──────────────────────── 🌼 THOSE PISTILS... ──────────────────────── Now let's talk about something I particularly noticed this week. The pistils. 😍 They're beautiful. But they're not the same bright white we're seeing on some of the other girls. Candy Rain is giving us a slightly warmer expression. A little more yellowish. A little more golden. And against the green foliage? It's stunning. There's something about that warmer tone that gives the flowers a completely different character. It's subtle. It's not screaming for attention. But once you notice it... you keep noticing it. And that's exactly what I love about phenotype hunting. Sometimes the differences aren't enormous. Sometimes they're little details. A slightly different colour. A slightly different structure. A different rhythm. A different way of stacking. And those little differences become part of the identity of the plant. Candy Rain has her own signature. 🍬🌼💚 ──────────────────────── ❄️ THE FROST IS STILL THERE ──────────────────────── And of course... we can't forget the resin. 😂❄️ The flowers continue developing that beautiful frosty character. And before you know it, you've been staring at one flower for ten minutes. But that's the beauty of this stage. The plants are giving us more and more detail to discover. And Candy Rain has plenty. ──────────────────────── 🌿 BEAUTIFUL COLOUR, BEAUTIFUL CONTRAST ──────────────────────── Another thing I continue to really like about this girl is the colour. Those deep greens. The flowers developing against them. The warmer pistils. The frost developing across the flower surfaces. Everything is coming together beautifully. She's got that rich, almost classic flowering-plant appearance. Nothing feels out of place. Nothing is screaming for attention. It's simply... balanced. And sometimes balance is what makes a plant beautiful. Candy Rain doesn't need to be the strangest plant in the room. She doesn't need to be the tallest. She doesn't need to have the most unusual structure. She simply needs to be herself. And she's doing that extremely well. ──────────────────────── SAME ROOM. SAME WORLD. DIFFERENT STORY. ──────────────────────── And once again, we come back to the heart of the 8×8 Adventure. For anyone discovering this diary now: We're growing twelve different plants together under the same general ecosystem. Same room. Same lighting philosophy. Same 12/12 schedule. Same environmental strategy. Same general nutritional program. Same grower. Same attention. And yet... look at how differently they express themselves. Some stretch. Some stay compact. Some race ahead. Some take their time. Some become extremely frosty. Some build enormous structures. Some have unusual colours. And Candy Rain? We've added two additional Future of Grow Black Series 600W fixtures to the room. When we first brought the extra lighting in, the available PPFD was higher than we wanted for our target. So rather than simply throwing everything at the plants... we reduced the output. We're now around: 💡 ~59% power from the plug with approximately: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy and naturally less depending on plant height and position. That's one of the things I really like about having more lighting capability. We don't have to run everything at maximum. We can have the photons available... and decide how many we actually want to use. And Candy Rain? She's receiving the same upgraded environment as everybody else. Same photons. Same room. Same conditions. And she's responding in her own way. 💡🌿🍬 ──────────────────────── ☀️ THE ARTIFICIAL SUN KEEPS SHINING ──────────────────────── There is something really fascinating about watching twelve plants receive essentially the same artificial sun... and then seeing twelve different interpretations of it. And she's continuing to develop without asking us to reinvent the entire grow around her. That's exactly the kind of relationship I like with a plant. Provide. Observe. Adjust when necessary. She established herself. She became beautiful. She entered flowering. She developed her structure. She stacked. And now... she's bulking. There's something very satisfying about seeing that progression. Especially because we never really knew what this girl was going to become when the adventure started. That's a pretty good evolution. ──────────────────────── 📸 THE CAMERA IS GOING TO HAVE FUN ──────────────────────── With the way the flowers are developing now, I already know the camera is going to have plenty of work. Wide shots will show the overall structure. Closer shots will show the stacking. And macro? 😂 Macro is going to become dangerous again. Because those warmer pistils. Those developing trichomes. Those flower structures. That frost. The textures. All of it deserves a closer look. Candy Rain is becoming one of those plants where every step closer reveals something else. At this stage, sometimes the best thing a grower can do is simply keep the environment stable and let the plant finish expressing itself. We've already done the work needed to establish the structure. Now? Let her shine. Let her build. Was doing a slurry test and discovered springtails. Prolly have thousands and thousands of them in my coco. Not anymore...CannControl soil drench to the rescue! Saw some fungus gnat larvae crawling around too. Wtf. Hopefully the drench will knock them out too....at least the springtails are gone.

Hey guys! Another week and another update! At the end of this week I decided to finally start with the main lining and I won't lie... I was extremely nervous haha 😱 but I believe I did it well, without any major issue! I also decided to move the small 4th plant into a new home and it seems she will like the extra space! This week I also didn't feed my babies as I over watered them 😞 but they still showed some great progress! So I suppose it wasn't that bad! 😊 Soon I'll update the next week, which is also ready and has even more timelapses! Thanks everyone! :D

Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Looking forward to it, stay safe, blaze on!

9/19 FED TODAY ONLY USED ABOUT A GALLON OF A HALF AND I LEFT OUT BEASTIE BLOOM AS I FORGOT AND WAS IN A HURRY. Wow. Yesterday was quite the day. I smoked a joint of the bud I had taken earlier. It was fire. Trichs look good and I didn't want to risk sustained damage from the storm or earwigs (more later). Took forever but I got the one ten foot blueberry hanging and one of my 5 gallon seedlings. I want to wait a little longer before I took ANYTHING. The seedling is was overdone if anything though. I'll add trichs pics. We are supposed to have some fairly good weather. This brings me to my next point. These earwigs must like blueberries because those three plants are the ones they damaged the most. That and one in a bucket. I mean they fucking strip it. I was going to take a branch off another blueberry as it looked awesome and kept hitting me in the face. I left it. I came back this morning and all the lower part of the branch was stripped. I mean fucking nothing. Im so fucking pissed. You can look on the interior and see secondary and tertiary branches that are just destroyed. Obviously my ice cream cake and a few others need more time. Dreamcatchers are totally unaffected by them. I could take those if I had to but they are fine. I could take the blueberries too if needed but this is when they really bulk up. It's a hard decision to make. Especially when they can work that fast and demolish a plant. If I don't chop I'll be using everything at my disposal today and hunting them after dark. I wonder if they are in the bag? 9/20 Harvested another blueberry yesterday. I left one to maybe catch a frost. I put petroleum jelly on every stalk and branch Of the other plants. Came here this morning to more striped branches further up on the lone blueberry. I don't care about the damage on the 5 gallon small experiment plants but it still sucks. I still don't totally know what is causing this ridiculous damage. As you can see in the pictures the damage is progressing up the plant. I'm cutting the last blueberry today. Trichs are good. It could go another week but with the damage sustained from ONE night I'm not going to risk it. Whatever is eating my plants don't seem to like the dreamcatchers. Luckily. I hope whatever this destructive fucking bug is doesn't move to another plant. I'll be on the look out. I'm ready for this season to end. 9/21 I think I lost a day in my diary. I've been so fucking busy. Took the last blueberry yesterday. Spent hours in the garden. Watered today. Need to do a potassium bicarbonate spray. I'll update later. 9/22 It's raining. Shook off the plants this morning. I cannot believe the rate of flowering. Maybe it's because the last four days I've been working my balls off harvesting and trimming those plants. Ill do a review and a harvest report of the blueberry once it's dry. The stuff is fire. The seedling is crazy too. Trichs are through the roof. I compared with a local dispensary pot and mine was better. Not as good as the dispo I frequent though. There is one on ever corner down here. 9/23 Didn't have time to feed this morning. I'll be back down in a bit and feed. We are expecting rain I guess but I'm not dealing with any mold issues other than the mild WPM. I plan to do a k bicarb spray today. I defoliated everything dead I saw. I've smoked my blueberry and it is amazing. The little seedling experiment I grew in the 5 gallon turned out AMAZING. Some of the densest buds I've grown. Trichs off the charts. Piny citrus taste and heavy sedative effects. Im waiting for the blueberry to at least dry before I do the harvest report. It's nice today. Plants have continued exploding into flower. For now I'll be in trim jail. 9/24 Watered lightly and fed 1 gallon. Started cha ching today at 1/8 tsp. Gallon. Still no idea on mysterious damage. I noticed a bit more. I went over at 4am hoping to find the culprit but nothing was there. We are supposed to have three days of rain. Everyone seems worried. I'm a little worried myself. I cut out a small branch on the middle of the dreamcatcher that had rot. Other than that it's just slight PM on some. I tried to mark damage so I can see what else happens. I'm letting the rest of this stuff ride. I'll do what I can to protect it but it's not coming down early. 9/25 The massive storm descended last night. Winds turned my ice cream cake literally sideways. Dreamcatchers are so fucking sturdy and strong that it would take a tornado to Damage them. The big plant in the fifty gallon pot had some branches that were 90° down. I tried to tie up what I could quickly. I noticed some damage on the ice cream cake. Same as on the blueberry's. I hope I made the right decision waiting this storm out. Defoliated and added supports where I could. Rushed morning.

The strain is not the biggest yielder but its quite promissimg,the smell is top and the effects are a very mellow creative smoke,tastes like sweets,will grow it again ✌️✌️

Primero, estamos en un ritmo que en cerca de seis dias, los cuatro cultivars están tomando la friolera de 24 litros, o sea que estamos con un ritmo de 4 litros de absorción diarios y eso sencillamente y por aritmética nos va con un litro por grow. El calor ha sido impiedoso la pasada semana y incluso ahora que la temperatura ya ha caído en torno a cinco grados (en temperatura máxima), la increíble tasa de absorción de agua se debe ahora esencialmente al increíble tirón que la cepa afgana fast de Sweet Seeds, ha tenido en los últimos días. Hubo cambio en el ciclo lumínico pasando ya a 12/12, y en este limbo entre final de vegetativo y empiezo de floración, en los últimos cinco dias los cultivars han ganado como 25 centímetros en altura y la multiplicación de ramas laterales ha sido exponencial. Sencillamente os invito a que echéis un vistazo a la entrada del pasado viernes y que registréis, la diferencia de crecimiento en tan solo 5/6 días. Con ello, cuestión número 1 : hasta que talla seguirán las chiquillas afganas "tirando"...todo lo que tenía pensado de cultivars sobre los 65/70 centímetros se han ido al garete y tendremos cultivars de talla de metro muy próximamente y con ello un armario abarrotado y sin un palmo más de espacio. Cuestión número 2: que vamos a hacer con el olor de esta cepa?!? En entrada de pré-floración, ese olor dulzón (casi al puro skunk) ya se hace sentir tremendamente en la habitación donde está el kit del armario de grow. Ya he instalado el ventilador de ozono y algo de olor se dispersa pero si la realidad en pré-floración es esta, cuando empezemos a ganar cogollos, hojas de azúcar y tirón de terpenos, no se a lo cierto, lo que será necesario para evitar la dispersión del olor y eso en un apartamento en un condominio, no es algo que pueda ser despreciable y habrá que intentar crear algún cultivo de plantas de compañía en mi terraza de modo a que se pueda ocultar el fuerte aroma que esta cepa tiene. Cuestión número tres - nutrientes necesarios y consumo de solución nutritiva. Como os he dicho, ahí vamos con nuestro Quadgrow, "chupando" por via de los "smart mat" que caben a cada una de las macetas, más de 20 litros en 5 días...empezé la entrada del diario haciendo aritmética simple, o sea que cada uno de los cuatro grows se toma un litro al día. No hay misterios, grows con crecimiento tremendo, sujetos a calor elevadísimo y humedad relativa que en los días más próximos, llegó a los casi 75% (os había dicho en otras entradas que estuvimos con humedad muy baja, sobre 40%, pero en la última semana y con el tiempo de "levante" (vientos de norte de África y con humedad llegada del Mediterráneo) hemos tenido días de casi 80% de humedad. Si en invierno, 80% ya es una humedad respectable y que no puede prolongarse mucho tiempo, por las condiciones de aparecimento de hongos, en verano, si sumamos a temperaturas sobre los 35ºC, humedades a los 80%, tenemos el "cóctel" perfecto para cualquier ser viviente (sea animal, vegetal o de otro reino biológico) tenga necesidad casi permanente de água (el calor y humedad, tienen la función reversa de causar deshidratacion rapidísima y con ello, hay necesidad biológica de reponer el agua perdida. Estos factores son también determinantes para que nuestra hidroponia y su reserva de 25 litros, sea suplida a los grows en cada 6 días, cuando mi idea sería que habría que rectificar solución nutritiva tan solo a cada diez/doce días, pero la verdad es simple y salta a la vista, a menos de cada semana es necesario hacer nueva cuba de solución y dejar que el sistema radicular de los grows se encargue de marcar el ritmo de riego. Como podéis también ver, esta semana ya hemos empezado a aplicarle la "forma" deseable para sacar renta a los grows. Ya ha sido colocado el entranzado SCROG para que podamos direccionar el sentido de crecimiento de las ramas laterales y también ha sido puesto en práctica, una primera defoliación, para limpiar exceso de hojas y sobretodo por la necesidad de la no existencia de áreas de sombra junto al sustrato de coco y evitar que puedan crearse hongos patógenos, pese a que mis grows siempre son "brindados" con micorrizas y trichodermas, justo para evitar cualquier disgusto a causa de un "menos pensado o deseado" Botritys, Fusarium o "amiguete" del estilo. Para final, que Dios Jah siempre nos proteja a todos, en los grows, en los que mal nos desean y a los que nos pueden hacer daño sin que algo tengamos echo para tal. Hello everybody!!,I'm very very sad this time guys,a few weeks ago I had some kind of fungal infection because humidity went to high with the rain and I had to take away 3 of this 4 ladies plus the other one I lost at the beginning because they were 5 and it was due also to a fungal infection however she was in seedling stage and I got the evil dumping off,the good news is that I'm enjoying soo much the only one I have,she's in full flowering and she's producing amazing sweet terps,you can't imagine how disappointed I am,I would have loved to have my 5 girls in full flowering now,I'll griw her Photoperiod version no matter what,I'm in love with her suoer floral and sweet aromas,I recomend this strain to everyone,you will enjoy her so much.peace growmies and cannalovers! ❤️💚💛🌱✌️ #LEGALIZEIT!!!!!!
