Week 8, probably the last week of Veg , it will depends on how the main tops are gonna grow compared to the side shoots that are supposed to fill up the inner holes. If the plants redirect their energy in the shoots instead of the main tops I could be able to add another week of Veg , plants have been ScrOG’ed and shaped for this but after all they will decide by their own if they fill that the main tops are to low to catch the male pollen they will send the energy in the side shoots to get a chance to catch it ! Plants grows for only one purpose, to reproduce ! And the Cannabis has an maniac obsession to reproduce this is why it makes it so resilient ! And this why it gets twice bigger in just 2-3 weeks when it stretch. So, if you’re reading this my friends, you will understand that the time to prepare your girls for the stretch is now ! Starting to bump the feeding mix with some Veg nootz preparing them for the battle as they will use a lot of Nitrogen ! And for the ones who are just looking the pictures like if this diary was a comic book, they still won’t understand why their plants are getting yellow in middle of flowering when roots doesn’t absorb Nitrogen anymore as they will only concentrate on P-K (Mg/Sulfur) and getting doomed with no solution to fix it. [Day 51] Water + RootBooster + AllZymes Cookies [Day 52] Water 💦 Acapulco Tangerine Bad Azz J.H BBG TH,SS Water + RootBooster + AllZymes + Earth Grow Mix Vanilla G13 Ams L [Day 56] Water 💦 J.H BBG TH,SS Tangerine Acapulco Ams L Bad Azz Cookies (P.S: I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞) This diary is updated daily ☝️

Still looking pretty good so far. After harvesting Girl Scout Cookies Auto, Yuhbary Auto is sharing a light with my two other, much younger plants. The light is a lot closer to Yuhbary Auto than before, which leads to discoloration of some fan leaves, but as far as I understand it, that's to be expected due to suddenly increased photosynthesis. A lot more Trichomes are getting milky, but so far, no amber ones in sight. UPDATE: That was that - Yuhbary Auto suddenly developed amber trichomes and the lower fan leaves started to turn yellow. A lovely grow, a lovely plant and a very nice outlook on what's to come in her next phase.

Hello all and welcome to the much anticipated beginning of vegetation for these five Epsilon F1 Autos from Royal Queen Seeds. Allow me to introduce Ally, Normani, Lauren, Dinah, and Camila. All five girls have pushed put their 2nd node (3 fingers) and node 3 is on the way out. I expect all five girls to take off from here, and so the next seven days are going to be big. I will start fertigation today. For comparison purposes the Day 1 here means Day 1 of veg. For Ally, Normani, and Lauren this is day 11 since breaking ground, for Dinah day 10, and for Camila it is day 9. For the rest of this grow I will increment days from here but it's really easy to work out days since breaking ground as it is a simple matter of day + 10, 9, or 8 respectively. Day 1: Fertigated 2l. Day 2: Right ok. Can you actually believe this response in 24h? The poor girls were STARVING. Wow look at the change in color! Wow look at the growth!! Ally is most advanced, Camila least. It is fascinating so see them develop! They are growing faster and faster now. So let us talk about the elephant in the room a little bit. Phenotypes. At the moment there is absolutely no evidence to suggest that this crop will be anything other than uniform. Nevertheless there are some clear differences in some of the girls. So let's have a look shall we: Ally (center), Normani (closest to the middle purple basil), and Lauren (opposite side to Normani): These three girls are not quite identical, but it is a pretty challenging game of spot the difference. Dinah: Okay so Dinah is coming in noticeably darker than her sisters, with a little more tendency to claw, and with quite a bit larger and more angular serrations. Her first leaves are also a different shape. Camila: Little Camila had a twin, but I killed her with some overzealous tweezing before I realised what I had. She came in with only one cotyledon, and she came in last. Her first leaves are quite different to the rest of Fifth Harmony. She is also showing slighty more narrow leaves. She is lastly also very slightly more pale than her sisters. Are these phenotype differences? I mean in terms of the environment, feeding, watering, substrate, temperature, light, airflow... well these girls are all in the same pot, so unless I am particularly haphazard in my mixing and fertigation (which I can assure you I am not) I do not think it likely that these ladies have significant enough environmental difference to account for these quite clear visual differences. I am absolutely fascinated to continue to witness this, and it has only now occurred to me what a great privilege it is to be able to grow the world first F1 cannabis hybrids, and what an astounding honor to be one of the very first hobby growers to do so! The fact that RQS made this happen by not only supplying the seeds and other merch and goodies, but also sending expedited international shipping so as to fit within my arbitrary timescales is almost unbelievable. When these guys (on their website) say that it is their belief and mission to forge the path to worldwide legalisation, they are not hollow corporate whispers, it is their core of being. Cannabis everywhere is truly blessed to have such a worthy and proactive ambassador. Bravo RQS! I have adjusted the timer such that the main tent is now getting 20/4 upped from 18/6. After monitoring DLI at 18/6 for a week I am unhappy with the overall level but because of the varying heights of the plants I am limited in what I can do in adjusting the light height. Some areas were only getting 20 DLI. So I have rearranged to have the taller plants on the edges and the lowest in the middle and doing it this way all plants are getting between 35 and 50 DLI at 20/4 - although one or two cola tips here and there are getting 55. Will monitor for a week. Day 3: Well look at this growth again!! These ladies have responded to feeding really well. Fertigated 3l. Day 4: Growth is accelerating fast, these ladies will be ready for their first training soon. I am starting to formulate an idea what to do. I am thinking of topping Ally and LST on the rest. Day 6: Fertigated 3l. Ladies growing fast now. Will soon be time to start training. However! The secondary nodes are developing strongly. Hmmm Day 7: Fertigated 3l. Defoliated the three fingered leaves from Ally and tucked the five fingered under other plants. End if week summary: Well when they said "hybrid vigour" they were not joking. Look at day 1 and day 7 side by side after approx 6 days into veg growth. Wow.

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.

🍰 Lava Cake – Final Harvest & Smoke Report GrowDiaries | Week 8 (Harvest & Cure) After months of dedication, lessons, and love, our Lava Cake journey comes to a close — and what an ending it is. Both phenotypes reached maturity beautifully, wrapped in dense, resin-coated buds that carry the unmistakable aroma of sweetness and spice. 🌱 From Seed to Harvest — A Journey in Full Bloom Our Lava Cake journey began from seed with two unique phenotypes, both full of potential and personality. Week after week, through careful nutrition, TrolMaster monitoring, and endless observation, we watched them evolve. From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. Her rich terpene profile brings waves of sweet baked goods, layered with berry and grape undertones inherited from her Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies x Grape Pie heritage. When smoked, she’s smooth, creamy, and sweet, leaving a lingering flavor on the palate that feels like dessert for the senses. The effects are deeply relaxing, melting away tension and replacing it with calm contentment. This isn’t a beginner’s strain — her high is potent, steady, and full-bodied. A few tokes are enough to drift into a deeply peaceful, happy state. Perfect for evenings, rest days, or moments when the world needs to slow down. ⸻ 🌬️ Curing — Grove Bags & UV Glass Jars After trimming, buds were stored in Grove Bags, which naturally maintain humidity between 55–62%, eliminating the need for daily “burping.” These innovative curing bags use a one-way humidity membrane, preserving terpenes and color while preventing mold. Alongside them, we used black UV-resistant glass jars — perfect for long-term storage, protecting cannabinoids from light degradation and keeping aromas fresh. Together, these methods allowed the buds to cure into perfection — firm, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. ⸻ 🔥 Resin, Hash & Full Spectrum Bar All trim from the grow — not just from Lava Cake — was collected to make a full-spectrum bar using simple, natural heat extraction with hot water in a glass bottle. The result was a potent, sticky, terpene-rich concentrate that perfectly captures the soul of the garden. ⸻ ⚖️ Final Yields • Pheno #1: 144g dry • Pheno #2: 99g dry Both phenotypes displayed amazing bud density and structure. In fact, their sheer weight caused a few branches to snap under their own mass — another reason that influenced our harvest timing. These were heavy girls, through and through. 🌿💪 ⸻ 🙏 Gratitude & Reflections To everyone who followed along — thank you. To Zamnesia, for the genetics and inspiration, thank you. To the GrowDiaries community, the supporters, the doubters, and everyone in between — thank you for being part of this experience. And above all, thanks to God, because without Him, none of this beauty — not even the smallest seed — would exist. Growing Lava Cake wasn’t just about cultivation; it was about connection, learning, and the sacred patience of nature. ⸻ 🌀 Closing Thoughts From seed to smoke, these Lava Cakes have been a story of flavor, resilience, and soul. Despite challenges like heat and bud rot, the final result was spectacular: frosty, aromatic, powerful flowers that embody everything beautiful about this craft. As we light the first cured joint, we celebrate not just the harvest, but the journey itself. Until the next grow — stay curious, stay kind, and keep growing. 🌱💚 Thank you to everyone who followed this run — your support, questions, and shared passion have been part of what made this project so rewarding. The full smoke review will follow this harvest report and will be presented in 4K on YouTube, where we’ll document the aroma, flavor, burn, and overall experience with both phenotypes and the pressed hash. 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Wow, does this Gorilla Cookies smell great!! If you have been following me, then you know that the weather here in my area has been rough. BUT, according to @Fastbuds website, Gorilla Cookies is defined as being "Super-reliable and incredibly resistant. This cultivar inherited all the best qualities from her parents, making it a fool-proof strain even for beginner growers." And, my gorilla cookies has "Chunky dense buds" just like the website said it would. I used my Max-see magnifier to take some close up pictures of Miss Gorilla Cookies trichomes. She is getting closer and closer to a harvest. It rained a little this week so I only fed her a couple of times. I am currently feeding her @AdvanceNutrients Jungle Juice. I have only taken about 10 leaves off at the most during this grow. I just didn't need to open up any space for sunlight, so I left them all in contact. I also had a couple of caterpillars? that decided it was a good idea to visit my flowering plants. Little do they know we do not want them to visit! I included a picture of the caterpillar that visited. Any thoughts? Take a look at the picture that I circled on. I circled where the stem is bending down because of the bud weight. All in all, it was a good week. Miss Gorilla cookies in concentrating on her bud growth. As always, Let's chat it up! See ya next week.

D42: She looks like she was responding to the switch to the hps tent by going into flower, but I pulled out my last flowering plant and switched the bulb to MH so it'll be interesting to see if she revegs now of if she keeps trying to flower. I had a plant do this before and I ended up chucking it because it got confused and stopped growing. She's got tonnes of nodes now though, pulled four fan leaves from the main stem to open up the insides to light and due the half attempt at mainlining at a young age she's got weird posture and lots of branches. Gave her a feed of organic grow. D47: another feed of organic grow and humid acids. Some more lst, and picked four leaves off that were blocking nodes. D48: looked like she took almost the whole week to look like she recovered from the transplant shock. The lst yesterday made everything real nice and even. I think I'll keep tying her down and when all the branches reach the same height I'll change the tent to flower.

17/04: - Started LST. - My plan is to wait until the plant outgrows the top tie and start tying the main cola around the pot, counter clockwise. 19/04: - Adjusted LST and tucked some leaves. I'm trying to give the new growth as much exposure to light as possible. 20/04: - 420 is here and the plant is looking fantastic. I'm leaving the LST ties as they are for now. 21/04: - Tensed the main tie a bit more and I might settle for this instead of going with the round shape I had in mind. - I'm tying some leaves so they won't block the new growth. Learned this reading other people's Q&As - Keeping leaves to a safe distance from the soil so they are not damaged by fertilizers.

There was a very high heat wave in my country! For the past week we had 40 ª Celsius during day time and 30ª during night time. I lowered the led potency to minimal settings and it workerd really good. The strais are the same and it is really easy to see the differences between them.

Diesel spice. smoke report will follow after 1,5weeks. will update the comment, just wanted to show some pics now. also guys from what you see did i harvest it to early or in time? update: saw powdery mildew, used h2o2 bath to clean it, mold is terribly bad for lungs and overall health. put the vent to dry water from cleaning, hope all be fine and powde00
