Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

Banana Kush Auto has been growing great under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2 in the Athena blended line nutrition. I lollipopped the plant, then defoliation was done since she was super bushy. I proceeded to lst the stretching branches outwards. Her solution was also topped off with a good dose of nutrition. She is doing great at the moment. I think I'm getting real close to harvest. I'm fairly nervous about the drying and curing. Think I'm mostly going to use brown paper bags as I'm not sure I can control the humidity well enough in my grow space. The last 4 rounds of watering I've given nutes twice. Usually I go 6 cycles of watering fertalizing twice. Maybe this too was a bad idea and I'm going to start flushing soon anyway. Possibly one more round of nutes in a couple days.

WOW she is a monster! Just shy of 2 meters! Well 1.7 meters. Still good for a strain that is rated for 0.9 meters. She is developing quite an impressive stature with an abundance of beautiful bud sites.

The buds got frosty fast 1ml/l calmag and 1.3grams/liter drypart bloom

This week went great. The ladies are drinking lots and still looking happy and healthy. I didn’t do any training on them just let them grow. Happy growing ya badasses!

Awesome first week under the light,both plants now into flower and stacking up on plant 1 very fast. Added big bud and bud candy,last feed till mid flower res change. It was amazing this week!!! Today my girls finally arrived!!!! ROYAL DWARF was put direct in the soil. 1x Critical was put in micro cup w/peat moss. Shogun, Triple G & PurpleQueen👑 in H2O . Now we wait 😈

Should probably start my 2 week flush at the end of this week but I want to harvest this plant and my other one(which is 2.5 weeks behind) at the same time so I'm probably going to try and push the feeding another 2 weeks until I start the final flush, trying to have this stay in flower for 10 weeks, the breeder says flowering period takes 8-10 weeks so I think I'll still be just fine. This week went well, the plants are slowly starting to fade and colors are starting to come out. Gonna follow through with my original plan and continue feeding lightly for the next week or two until I start the final flush. I also raised the lights a bit this week mainly to help and give more light to my second plant that stretched so much its main cola is hitting the grow light, and also to help prevent any foxtailing from occurring.

week 7 flower: big fanleaves start to die off and the purple/yellow colors appear on the plant. one more week before harvest

11/03 - 2x2 (6 clones) 4x4 (11 clones) - 4x4 trimmed and ready for flip this week - 2x2 being trimmed this week and flipped same time as the 4x4 - Only clean water and carbo flush feeds for this week. Drip line emitter added to the 2x2 with a 5 gallon res - each pot has 2 lines. 11/07 - Heavy water flush - Prep for trim & flip - heavy defol - dropping net - clean water feeds till next week - both tents will be flipped at the same time.

Last weekend, each plant underwent significant defoliation followed by a good watering. They're already starting to give off a pleasant, rather strong scent. 😎✌️

I guess dude was right about it foxtailing but I don’t care and I don’t think I can do anything about anyway. My light is at 50%. She is only getting 600 ppfd and I’d have to check again but I know the DLI is under 30, I want to say it was 25 or 26. Temps never go above 76° lights on but typically stay at 74°. Idk if it is light stress then i don’t understand how ppl run these high wattage lights. Maybe I’ll try the co2 bottle again

Week 4: Had no problems at all. Some leaves turned brown, but that's okay. Unintentionally, I doubled the fertilizer amount because I thought I had 2 liters to mix, but I only had 1 liter. Next week, you'll see how this affects the plant. Despite this, everything has grown well.

today is day 126!!!! i only received so many photos, it seems that the biotabs nutrients are working great, i'm still on vacation so girl, i water it myself with the help of wifi, and a few times a week she comes to water it separately :) everything looks pretty nice:) good luck to everyone:)!
