Approaching week 5 of flower. Ladies are healthy as can be. No signs of deficiency or stress. Increased bloom nutrient feed. Removed Grow nutrient from feed.

Well, this strain is surely flowering for a long time, it's still stretching. I wonder if it will stop stretching and start fattening the buds this week... Anyhow, one of the reasons why I don't defoliate much is because the plant does that by itself. When the lower leaves receive almost no light (because all the light is blocked by the thick growing canopy) they start to send their nutrients to the top. When they are donez they just fall off on their own. You see, leaves are like solar panels AND nutrient reserves! Just make sure this process is slow and the leaves that receive light are still very healthy and green. If many leaves are falling or if they fall really fast you gotta make sure is not a deficiency or nutrient lockout! ... Again just water your plant with bloom formula (and a bit of calmag) to an EC that allows you to maintain the plant heathly and the runoff not to high (in my case 1mS/cm). Remember to alternate nutrients and pHd tap water. That's pretty much all left to do from here to harvest. Obviously if you see something wrong try to correct it. Day 66 update. I dropped something on my plant. It bended one branch very badly and severed some leaves and a bud :( Well, accidents happen. Luckily cannabis is a very very resilient plant, one might be surprised at how much this plants can take. Anyhow, taped everything together loosely, pulled the most bent branches upwards with a thread and I will wait for it to heal... If everything goes well, this branches should be even stronger than the others. Let's hope that's my fate! Update day 69. Although I have been feeding with 1.0 mS/cm once, then pHd water then feed again, the run off from today measured 3.0 mS/cm ! It's climbing still. I flushed again, until the runoff was at 1.5 mS/cm. I think I understand what happened, my theory is that the plant needs a lot more water now, but not as many more nutrients. So it takes the 2.5 daily liters of water, but it might only eat the nutrients in 1lt of water, so the rest stays on the roots and accumulates, raising the EC of the soil. So far, by checking EC on the soil once every week or two I have avoided nutrient toxicity and lockout. I think there are two options, either lowering the concentration of nutrients I feed it (so 2.5 lts a day will contain less dissolved nutrients), or spacing out the feedings with more intermediate waterings of plain water. I think I am going to go with the former, next week I will try feeding an EC of 0.8 mS/cm on 3L then tap water and so on from next week on. I prefer to underfeed than to overfeed, which is what I recommend for other boobs, it's better to have some yield than to risk killing the plant. We will get better with time...

Hi guys! here is how my beautiful girls proceed! they had a nitrogen boost in the first few weeks of flowering, but are now stable, feeding well and having a beautiful streccing (x2 / x3). The pre-flower seems to be forming well and on day 22 from the change to 12/12 the first trichomes appeared! These girls are doing well still. Responded well to their training and recovered from their topping. All is well and have watered twice in the last week.

Day 85. Girls got small shock, for last two days temps at the end of light cycle dropped to 18 cel. Nights still was max 22. Some pistils went brown, had to crawl to other side to check for bananas, everything looks ok, had a chance to check Monster Blue Dream, she turned all buds to light and went through hard training like nothing. Turned off other tent and didn't though that it will influence main tent too... All sorted now Before last watering took like 20 leaves covering tops here and there, but buds don't look that mature,that i need to see before taking more leaves off. They are slow runners a bit, but i guess it takes time to grow so many buds ;))) So hopefully defoliation at the end of this week. Calmag and water, full feed, Great White and water is my feed plan for this week. Day 88. Still frost during nights outside and i need to tune up heater : days +23 Cel., nights 24 ;)))) Put heater on timer, hopefully everything will settle up tonight. Girls start to bulk up, some has amazing frost, just my shitty camera and too intense lights can't show it in photos. Day 89. Girls got 3-4 handfuls of BioBizz Worm Humus and Great White was sprinkled on top. Everything was rubbed into and mixed with pots top soil. Think its my last boost, i will do one more feed with full range of Biobizz and will go to just watering them till the end with 6.5 ph. Happy Growing !

The weather is going crazy at the moment, so I decided to take the plant outside. The leaves start turning in color. I already ordered a digital microscope looking for trichomes.

We have lift-off! She has stretched her little heart out this past week. This growth spurt inevitably came with a load of foliage, so I've been defoliating through the week - just a little each day - to keep the airflow nice. She is loving the Bud Explosion. Bud sites are starting to swell up nicely, and the fragrant aroma is getting more and more every day, quite zesty, very citrus. More lemony than orange at the moment, but still early days. The first hint of frost is beginning to set in, and she is looking a very healthy plant, hopefully should get some nice trichome production. This is my first photo-period plant, and in all honesty it's gone a lot smoother than some of the autos I've grown! No deficiencies, no pH or EC issues, no heat stress :) I deliberately gave it a long veg time so it didn't feel rushed, but moving forward I wouldn't want to have 1 plant taking up that much space for that long. SOG might be the way to go, but that's for another day. Current feeding: CalMag: 0.5ml / liter Megacrop: 5.5 grams / gallon Bud Explosion: 1.5 grams / gallon Will be running PK 13/14 for a week, probably starting some point this week when I next need to change the res. pH is currently 6 in the res, rising to 6.1 / 6.2 in the autopot tray. For the last month, I've been dealing with severe back issues. Not gonna lie, but it's been challenging to keep up with daily DWC chores. That aside, this particular girl also experienced ph swings, so reservoir change end of mid-week 6 flower. I also switched from Fox Farm to GH trio and supplementing with FF Chi Ching during week 5 and into week 6 w/ppm running at 800. Next bucket change, I will begin lowering ppm to 500-520 range. I'll continue bringing ppm down right up until flush. She's finishing nice, given what little I've been able to do physically. Ganja Farmer Seed genetics, so happy with first run using this breeders gear and happy w/results so far being this is my first attempt at DWC. week 5 was great. she really focused on getting fat this time. and shes been getting soooo frosty. the camera really doesnt do her justice. also she use to give off a pretty strong kush smell when i would water her but i noticed she hasnt been giving ANY smell recently. She does however smell very strong when i squeeze her nugs and smell my fingers. she has a very strong lemony smell with a hint of a kushy gassy smell. Every 2 days ive been giving her a gallon of dechlorinated tap water phd to 6.3 ph with 2 tsps or 10ml of dyna groom bloom nutrients.

Ahora estamos en Invierno, La primavera se acerca por estos lares a mediados de 15na de setiembre por lo que estas ultimas 5-6 ultimas semanas se espera que el sol logre engordar esos cogollos. Se esta regando con Fertilizante Pk y abono de cascara de platano. todo bien
