Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Thank you so much for your support on this bananas journey 💜💚💜💚 I am so happy to see how girls are developing in recent days. It's seems that Athena finally stopped her stretch and hoping that Xena will follow her sister very soon. Buds are gaining weight and size rapidly. Lots of nice colours and tonnes of trichomes on those buds already. Week 10 Dec 18-24 Dec 18-19 Mainly observation. Xena is still stretching like crazy. both girls are developing beautifully. Dec 20 First watering for this week. 7.5 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH's Athena 6.2 Xena 6.3. Dec 21 Due to lack of light at lower parts of conopy decided for another selective defoliation, lowered a bit tallest branches with colas dangerously close to light by tieing them to netting. Couple cm will make a huge difference here. Could not clear well at the back wall of the cabinet due to limited access.I'm very happy with final result. Dec 22-23 Joyful observation of my 🍌💜👊girls development 🧑‍🌾 Dec 24 All is looking great. It's seems that stretch is finally stopped. Girls looking healthy and happy. Meine vier Babys entwickeln sich weiter gut sie werden von tag zu tag Dicker und schöner :) Den Geruch empfinde ich als ziemlich Süßlich und wirklich sehr Lecker :) Mitte der Woche habe ich nochmal Etwas Plagron Lightmix auf die Töpfe verteilt da durch die Airpods die Wurzeln schon dabei waren aus dem Töpf zu sprießen. entlaubt wird immernoch in dem die Sonnensegel Gekappt werden die zuviel Licht inanspruch nehmen

soooo purrrrrddddyyyy! I'm thinking i'm about a week out but well see. Today is 54 of flowering. Noticed the first dying leaves a couple days ago but its coming on slow. The trichs are just craaazzzzzy!!! lol i hope shes a potent as she looks!!! hahhaa so many !!!!!!! but i'm excited!!! hahahha well, i hope the finish is smooth and we have a nice harvest here 😁

This plants have developed beautiful branches that will develop awesome fat nuggets for sure! Really nice strain to grow, would be awesome to apply lst some time on this strain, I have applied a selective defoliation on them, let's see how this ladies keep developing, I start to count the days of flower on April 10th!

Day 22 everything seems to be ok 😃👌 Day 23 still growing good 😃👌 Day 24 there is an upgrade with LED light... Spider Farmer SE1500 😃👌 the old light wasn´t good enough 😛👊 Day 25 the ladies are in well shape and a bag of CO2 also added 😂😃👍

Day 50 since seed touched soil. From now on all is in stable position. Joe always will be in left corner, under fan, he was lowest, so it was smart to put him under. Plants dont grow well next to fan. 5 liters went in, want good run off and saturation. Later today will install second level of scrog. Reposition all shoots, some are lost, i almost regret instaling scrog, lost control of even height a bit, but canopy is very dense, branches went fatter during that week, i am happy . Mars TSL2000 is on 80% will increase to 90% at the end of this week. Day 53. Second level of scrog almost eaten, will have to make third, plus heavy clearing awaits next week ... Day 54. Think tomorrow is watering day. Girls need good clearing, bottom canopy been canibalised heavily, lack off air shows a lot. Will do third level of scrog together with watering. Day 55. Watered Joe, he is lowest, but looks nice. Think all deficiencies behind. Made light clearing, only bottom shoots which has 0 chance to make it, took part of LST down. Watering exposed roots - plant is occupying new lair , good sign ;) Happy Growing !!!

Harvest Week

Day 119. After 72 hours of darkness - chop day !!! P.S. if you are searching for Killer Kush, she got separate diary, my favourite of all 3 strains. Day unknown !!! Though I uploaded dry weight results and videos, but made it only with Cheeses, all footage is deleted now , so this part will be missing, stoners life ... ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Alright let's do this !! The seeds were soaked for a few hours in a KNF seed soak, and placed in paper towel. Looks like there are twins in there. Separated them and will try to grow the smallest one. When germinated they moved into a jiffy and eventually in their final pot once roots poked through the jiffy. The final pots are 40L of different soil mix. One is a very good commercial mix and the other is my own mix. Seeds really isn't my strong suit so they always tend to struggle a bit until well established.

This pretty lady filled up the tent beautifuly, she will probably stay under 45 cm until finish so she should be comfortable inside the small VGrow. She is still looking very healthy and I have to trim a few leafs once every couple of days. Very excited to see how her buds look like.
