Really happy with how she’s turning out with massive bulking in this last stretch! GC is an amazing strain that I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for something very unique! Flushes are all done and we have about a week or two left, trichomes are all still very clear under the microscope want to wait for some borderline ambering before I chop her.

Summertime has said in temperatures are in the 90° range this will make the tent harder to cool and I definitely need to get a bigger humidifier. Soon all the outdoor will be out of the chance describing it will go in and we will structure and get ready for flower

Week 8: Having some issues with my lower leaves at the moment , but the rest of the plant is really good. We are also being hit by a big heat wave in here , temps outside reaching 40C, but I’m managing it well for now. I will probably have big issues when the drying comes - open to ideas 💡

05/07/2020 definitely another week, #9 flower I think she be done end of week 9. The trichomes are mostly clear, some milky no amber, but I only want 5-10% amber at most anyway as I want daytime meds. Leaves are fading fast will get some better pics soon, one more watering of 2, liters plain water and we are done see you in 7days for the (harvest?)hope and pray! Ps. I do this because breeder says 9-12 weeks but breeder didn't specify 9-12 TOTAL / Or weeks or flowering weeks so I harvested 47 grams wet, at 13 weeks TOTAL, the rest will Be at my peak harvest date which is approximately week 9-10 of flowering. So it's within reason I would say.👍 Pss. The 47 grams wet weight is now at 13.9 grams, (dry weight) after 10 days drying and into the glass jar for burping and curing process . Four days into week (9 of flowering) i brought out my 420 scope still lots of clear trichomes, maybe a 10-11week flowering? Probably my lights need upgrade. See you in 4 days

Unfortunately I spotted one bud with bud rot on my gelato plant. I flushed it on day 91 of cycle, day 54 of flowering. Today is day 94 and it seems it has not spread out to any other buds(happy days) .. I am watching it closely everyday and also to see how the trichomes are going.. breeder says 65-70 flowering days to be ready.. let’s see.. if I spot another bud rot I will probably harvest it.. I hope that will not happen.. let’s go

The 2 Mixed seeds are well ahead and I can tell they have 2 weeks left. I hope they keep progressing and im gonna keep treating them like they are my Lily or Rose plant. Happy 2024 for all the real ones

Stretching is slow but I think she still hasn't reached the bottom off the pot. Once that happens I am hoping for a bigger stretch. Then move her to a bigger pot. Weather isn't with us this week here in the UK 🇬🇧 not a lot off sun coming true mostly cloudy 🌥️ but my lux meter that I use still shows 65000 lux and more in clouds. So should be ok for seedling. Week 5 of flower update and this was not a good week at all. The light burn got progressively worse over a 4 day stretch that I was away and couldn’t address it earlier. Torched a few tops pretty good. Likely salvageable but it wont be a pretty finish. The only good news about this is that my 2 100% keeper plants were either unaffected or only minorly. Went full beast mode and ripped apart the whole system just to cut 2” off the legs, clean, prune and then reinstall everything. We’re also gonna swap the cob light with an xs2000 and sf1000 combo. Same power but room for clearance error. If we’re lucky - we still get to the finish with some quality smoke and an initial sampling of this new F1. Jesus - my issues never seem to end these days….

Foliage has been trimmed back a bit. She replaces the leaves in two days. Girl is taking over the tent shared spaces.

I had some difficulties in the vegetative phase with this passarello strain so even if late I applied a series of techniques to maximize the harvest. I applied a late topping, I did LST on the lower branches and I elegantly widened them and topped x 8 in the center. By doing so the center came out a bit weakened because the power went to all the branches below (that's why the main lining is better), but by eliminating some branches that would not have reached the top I obtained an excellent result, there are really many buds and a result that will exceed 100 grams by a lot I think going closer to 150 grams. The flowers are very beautiful, nice mature pistils, large calyxes, this plant has really large calyxes that make it a bit difficult to clean or rather it is easy to cut some calyxes here and there. But the grass is so much you can easily make sense of it. The smell is wonderful I still have to go into more detail but it seems something strawberry, sweet, I'm still trying to understand what it reminds me of and I have to study the terpenes and terpene profiles better. The trichomes are mostly milky but we honestly have little amber still and a bit of transparency, it could have been another week probably but that's fine.
