3-4 weeks to go and things are looking great in tent 1 where I have 2 Peyote Gorilla girls in an Earthbox. The stretching is complete, and the girls are finishing. This tent was a breeze. No issues with growth and a lot of nutrition the plant can use to finish. Colas are stacking and beefing up... trichomes are very evident and I believe this plant is very happy. I water the humis layer with 1/4 gallon of rainwater to keep moist. However tent 2 is a different story. I noted that the plant was undergoing severe chlorosis. I believe this is due to my re-use of this earthbox jr, has created such a strong root structure from this and previous grows, that the plant cannot uptake nutrients as required. There is plenty of nutrition in the box and I added a small amount (1/4 cup) of Craft Blend mixed with Naranja that I milled and some gnarly barley, a malted seed meal that was germinated and then stopped to trap the seed hormones and prepares the starches to be converted into fermentable sugars. So I know there is great nutrition to the plant available but something else is preventing uptake. I don't use bottled nutrients so I must wait for the food to breakdown and become plant available. At this point of maturity I want to be careful with Nitrogen... I have seen such weird affects that may cause lockout, and foxtailing and new bud growth as the plant is finishing. I will watch carefully as the plant senesces, as bud development is far ahead of development in size compared to tent 1.

Now we’re talking! The ladies have taken off after a 4 degree raise in temperature. I’ve topped all three of them at the 4th node and. They responded really well with a little shove back. I’ll give them a week and it’ll be time for some LST and a bump in nutes to maximum strength. Hoping to Bush them out and get them to about 30” before I flip the switch so that could be two weeks or a little more. Ps I’m liking these powder floraflex nutrients. Almost zero salt buildup.

💧 Week 10 – Flush (10 Days) Final flush week went smoothly. Used Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish to help clear excess salts and nutrients from the medium, then followed with clean RO water to let the plant fade naturally. Leaves gradually lightened in color, water uptake slowed, and buds continued tightening nicely. Trichomes reached mostly cloudy with a touch of amber — right in the harvest window I was aiming for. Aroma stayed strong and clean through the entire flush ❄️🔥 Kept RH low with steady airflow to protect resin and avoid any late-stage issues. Flush completed and the plant was fully ready for chop ✂️🌿

So another week and some more thickening and ripening. The smell is like blueberry on one and the others are sweet as well. Slightly different smell to each. Watering when dry still at pH 6-6.6 and monitoring overall plant trichomes. At this point it's autopilot to the end. No more feeding with slow release and will slowly flush the remaining food out next few weeks. I like my trichomes to have some amber, not too much but mostly cloudy with some amber. Seems like most will be dense, except one plant I've called corona virus. It has smaller buds but are really resinous and smelly. Cheers and happy growing!

Sweet Bourbon Kush auto is flowering nicely. She is about mid way through bulking I believe. She is working her way to a finish soon. Everything has been stable, and doing great. The plants are doing excellent. The leaves are praying sharply upward, which I rarely saw during my last soil grow. Sadly, the left plant is smaller and much further along in flowering. Since they share a reservoir, I can't harvest her early. I'll have to harvest the small one overripe, but it will be interesting to see how the buds taste and affect. I am going to defoliate them in the next few days. The small one is just way too dense; I definitely messed up with her, but I'd say I nailed the right one for first run dwc auto😀🏼

Flushing +pure water (6,7)

So I made a totally noob mistake. I can't believe I didn't think about how fast the males would spread pollen. I was still trying to figure out which male I wanted to use for selective pollination on a specific branch. So I pulled the males and I'm attempting to collect pollen using a trim tray screen. Its working quite well and I'll make a video with that as well. I'm not even sure if it's viable or if my attempt and mistake of leaving the males too long will work. So anyways I realize now how delicate it is to have males. They start popping fairly quickly. Come check out my YouTube y'all

Alright, so she had a rather traumatic week. The pics won't show it, but here's what happened. I was supercropping her at the beginning of last week and all but snapped one of her lower branches, off. I taped it up and prayed... full recovery as of this post! The branch was wilting all week and all of a sudden the break point knuckled up and she began carrying on with bud development. She's been drinking nutes like a fuckin' fish. I've been watching the tips for burn, but it seems to be my nutrient regiment is right on the money. No burnt tips, just happy plant. Cheers all! 🍻 5-6 weeks until the chop! Day 36 I guess I can call it bloom. Nice strong pistils shooting all over. She is the tallest so far making me raise my lights a little more. Day 38 Now Californian Snow is the tallest :) Ztrawberry stopped at a perfect height, it looks like she's gonna develop into a beautiful lady. Fat white pistils all over 😻 Day 39 Happy girl got 2500ml cm bg bb bh 6.3ph ~1EC She is perfect, symmetrical, stopped stretching at about 50cm, flowers are mostly leveled, branches are strong, leaves point up unless I water. I think she's also turning purple. Beaut 😻 Day 42 I think I saw some burnt tips but she still looks super happy and healthy. The most vigorous plant I've had.
