The stretch is starting to slow down (thank goodness because the Vanilla Frosting is about ready to grow through the light lol she STRETCHED). Overall I am very happy with how each is developing. The front right Hella Jelly is starting to give off a great candy nose. I’ve been defoliating like a madman to keep airflow high. This week brought a lot of rain and high humidity to my area. I have a new dehumidifier coming for my lung room, which should be getting here Tuesday. It should be strong enough to keep the humidity low enough to finish flower strong and avoid any bud rot or powdery mildew…Until then, the inline fans are cranked, the wind is blowing and I’m plucking leaves like crazy 🤪 Happy Growing!

did some very minor defoliation on the senecas, both confirmed females. the afghan is the only male exactly what i wanted. got a super funky smell, definitely some skunky, hashy almost notes. almost like grinder hash smell. tight node spacing id say for such a small male, nice cluster of sacs on the top and on the bottom of the first node. turkish doing well too, nice fruity/dank/hashy smell too. i can see why they were cultivated for charas.

I’m lightly defoliating each and making sure my bud sites are exposed. Everything seems to be swelling up nicely.

Moving forward, blooming nice, this second gen is taking form and gaining weight. A few weeks and we will have a nice harvest. Tent is nicely populated and filled. Once i have setup the “semi scrog” it has conformed to it in a couple of days and did a massive difference. It really opens the canopy and create a huge surface to take advantage from the light as opposed to letting it go naturally. I’m defining the technique as semi scrog because i did not setup the net in a traditional early way knitting in veg... It was done later.

These girls are getting close to harvest. Calyx closed & swelling up, most of the pistills turned orange/brown & are starting to curl in. Waiting on delivery of a new 60× microscope to check the trichomes , buds are very frosty. Have stopped feeding nutrients & have started flushing with plain ph'd water. Then reduced watering to twice a day so there not taking in as much moisture before harvest. Probably starve them of water completely for a couple of days to bring out more moisture, & apparently THC. A lot of smell about them. Very sticky!

So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

Welcome to GERGrowDesigns Breeding Cut Phenohunt #1 Diarie Week 8 (Flower Week 1 Day ~8 Since 12/12) This diary is designed for a documentation of an indoor grow, with a strong focus on plant health, environmental control, and optimized nutrient strategy to hold this Genetic and use her for Breeding in Future projects . The Harvested Mother Plant ,can be found in the older Strawberry Cola Sherbet Diarie💚 What happend in the past ? -Cut removed from Mother in Flower Week 2 -Clonex Gel used ~10 days Rooting Process - 2-3Weeks Revege Process -transplanted in 0.3l pot -transplanted in 12litre pot + Bigger Tent -Plant/Health/Root Care -Motherplant Feeding Shema , low EC , Spraymix -Took 9 Cuts From The Plant -Took 6 Cuts From The Plant -Feeding Shedule for Regeneration and Growth -Prepared New Mother Plant -Last Veg Week before Flower -tent move in bigger Home 100x100 -light Switch to 12/12h ,its Flower time 15.03 -One Time nutriets Boost for Flower Switch & Stretch -ScroG Install and Daily Training in First Flower Weeks Grow Setup & Strategy: • 🌱 Genetics: Strawberry Cola Sherbet -Sweet Seeds • 🏕️ Grow Space: 100x100x200cm • 💡 Lighting: 1x200W LED • 🌡️ Average Temperature: ~26°C • 💧 Humidity: ~50% • 🍵 Pot Size: 20L • 🌿 Base Nutrients: Hy-Pro • ⏳ Flowering Expectation: 5 weeks Flower Week One is Done , Media is from 24.03 flower Switch was at 15.03 (12/12) Flower Day ~8 , looks like shes taking the shortcut of 4-5 Weeks Flower Again Like the Mother 🎯 Isnt it Fascinating how Fast some Strains can Develope After Switch🏆 she will probably overun my other Photo Tent which changed 2 Weeks before to Flower 🌱 Also Special attention will be given to Hy-pro during all phases, aiming to enhance Structure , nutrient uptake efficiency, and final quality, while closely monitoring plant response. Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

Weird growth on the leaves of one of my plants. Looks healthy otherwise. White widow is beginning to pop out for life.

Watered when dry. Increased water. First time growing in Coast of Maine, which seems to be “heavy” weight wise. I guess holding a good amount of water. Still finding a good schedule.

Servus Moin!

Day 22 - She's doing okay! Had a minor PH issue the other day due to a cheap meter, which has been replaced. Her bottom first fan leaves are a tiny bit brown as a result. Her roots are clean and nice looking, thanks to the Hydroguard. She seems to be doing all around very well. Definitely have to check and adjust PH daily to keep her under control, however. Day 26 - So I moved her to a new, non-visible home. Not because of any failure of the visible setup, but because at one gallon, it was just plain too small. She was going through water so quickly that I was having to redo her whole tank every two days. Was becoming too much maintenance. If I can put together a three gallon clear setup I will move her over to it. That is the plan at least. If not, she'll be a bucket girl. She's doing well and thriving, so everything is cool on that front.
