The 34 street seed Cookies had Lot’s of LST and training this week! The girls did very well overall after being topped, and have recovered very nicely. I also finished up my drying my last harvest, so after a cleanup session, my big tent was ready to go again! This week was pretty easy, just watching the girls and adjusting the ties to keep the side branching going. I like to come in regularly and bend and twist the shoots between my fingers encouraging healthier stems. While I’m in there I’ll adjust the wire ties a bit to keep things even. After 2-3 days with the tie downs on, I’ll take them off and let the plant recover. With the environment dialled in at 79 degrees and 63% RH, it’s giving me a VPD of 1.0-1.1 , great for optimal growth. 💪 I think I am going to split the girls up, 4 (2 of eachin the one tent, 2 in my small tent, both with a Scrog in place. I’ll be transplanting this weekend, It won’t be long before these girls are ready for flower, October is a busy month for me so I may wait until the beginning of November to switch to flower light timing. This multi strain grow was interrupted and they were left alone for four weeks with only light and water. This was the biggest of all plants, she needed more water than she got and has suffered. When I got back to her she was only just survive. Leaves had turned brown and dropped, crunchy to touch. But, despite this mistreatment here she is producing some nice buds for me. Aroma is of very sweet berry but sour too. Remind me of strawberry cough chews. Buds are light and not dense at all, lots of of them though easily twice as many as the next strain. I think this would be a favourite for the guys who extract rosin. Lot of frosting, trimming looks difficult I won't lie, I cannot look forward to this trim. Mainly as leaves have died in the bud so unless I trim tight it will effect the smoke so I will have to be careful. If you want to grow be aware of the stretch, very sativa structured plant will need some room or training. She needs a week more than other strains to finish maybe two. Sativa usually do. Out of the 4 seeds only the gnarly taproot made it successfully. It is growing visually more and more everyday and soon I will investigate other two seeds that didn’t germinate and make this a one plant operation.

This is being grown side-by-side with my LTP bag seed (see the separate diary for that). I've also got that other Chemdawg seedling going, and only one spot in the 7 gallon pot, so we'll see when it comes time to transplant who wins. That said, things aren't looking great here. After needing considerable help emerging from the seed husk, this Chemdawg has been growing lopsided, with a strong side and a weak side. She's also started doing the Lean. I managed to repair that - first with a bit of drinking straw, then by just filling up the cup with more soil - but this is not the best showing out of the gate. Her second node is looking a bit more normal, hopefully she'll grow out of her weirdness. Tent stats: - Lights: started the week around 220 PPFD, ramped to 300 by end of week. - Temps: seedling heat mat kept in the mid-80s (30 C). - Humidity: VPD has been set to 0.6 kPa.

Started Some LST by pulling down the main stem on day 15 coz they were doing nice and good and took well to their feed without any issue. Come day 16 and *!SNAP!* It's Like Hearing one of your own limbs breaking and number lll lost her top from coming on 5 nodes right down to the first node, It was a sad day in the box , hearing a branch crack is the loudest sound in the grow esp if they are so young. I tried some surgery with some duct tape and left it for a couple of hours hoping it would recover but nothing and I decided to let go and clean up the top nicely, Basically grew out 5 nodes to be topped at the first by mistake and I was considering topping the Autos just for a test but it seems like my hand was forced, Be very gentle with the LST is what I've learnt from this but atleast I still have something to work with and might even consider mainlining depending on the growth. Day 17 And They Are All Recovered nicely after thier feed and the bud sites are now pushing from number l and ll (I've Marked the bags l,ll,lll)

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Da dies mein erster indoor grow ist, hab mich entschieden die Pflanzen nicht zu trainieren nur beobachten und lernen was sie unter der Lampe brauchen. 03.10. This week begins with a video 04.10 Nach Behandlungen sehen die Girls nun lebendig und froh aus. Auch die Kleine von gelb wird sie wieder grün.. 08.10 Die Pflanzen habe ich nur einmal Salze direkt auf der Erde gestreut, VORSICHT nicht zuviel und nicht direkt unter der Planze. Gegossen wurde nur mit Wasser mit CalMag und BioHeaven. Nun sehen sie quicklebendig aus, ausser eine. Diese Salze haben die Aeste sehr gut entwickelt. Salze: AMMONIUMSULFAT 20,6 % N - 58% So3 Lampe: 50-60 cm volle Leistung. Bis jetzt bin ich mit der Hydromars TSW2000 voll zufrieden. und von Anfang an blieb ich auf gleicher Höhe. Denn es sind die Pflanzen die gegen das Licht gehen. In der Blütenzeit werde ich die Distanz verkürzen. Und tatsächlich brauchen die Pflanzen unter dieses Licht mehr CalMag.
