DAY 2: Watering with 2.5L. Nutrients as in description. I have noticed small symptoms of underwatering and also little stress of heat. Therefore I just reduces light intensity from 100% to about 85% and moved the lamp a about 5cm higher. DAY 4: Recovered fully from heat stress and underwatering. Already noticed some small hairs so flowering just began! DAY 5: Watering with 2.5L of water. The pot was already bit light. After flip to 12/12 I have instantly noticed she needs watering 1 day faster then before. I also removed some yellowed leaves and hidden small branches which would not see the light either.

DAY 66 Watering every 3 days.. 💧I always do 2L and stop when I see runoff. Now, I can smell fruit. 🍒 See the fat trichomes, this stinks, I can tell you. 😏 DAY 68 I checked trichomes, I actually didn't expect any plant to finish "in time", but this one has all cloudy trichomes! Huh! 😳 So I took a small bud to test smoke.. it's drying now. Smells like Coke, and like something sweet from my early childhood when I didn't have a memory. It's subliminal paradise. And then it smells like weed, really pungent, yeeeesssssssss!!! 💪 HOW CAN THIS PLANT ACTUALLY SMELL LIKE ACTUAL COKE??? It's an unmistakable coke fragrance! You know, I see myself in the future, just flinging some well-smelling flowers left&right over my shoulder instead of perfume.. 😋 Getting ready for harvest! All the plants are looking great but 1.... grand daddy purp #2 has small nugs on on and I've noticed some discoloring in some of the leaves. Have to refill the tank tomorrow so when I do I'll give that plant and flush and see if it's locked. All the other plants and other grand daddy purp plants are looking amazing. The red dragon plant has especially surprised me with how it's not only bounced back, but also the color. Have hints of black, red and purple in the bud and the smell is just amazing. 2/4: Photo session day! The squattier of the two picked up a lot less of the sativa genes. She's gonna be shorter, but she's in a big hurry compared to her lankier sister. The taller one, like most other sativa dominant strains I've grown, really doesn't like being fed so often. At this point, I'll probably just feed her every other feeding day, and on plain watering days I'll give her cal-mag and flavor/terpene enhancers, and maybe a little beastie bloomz. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today except these girls and my two #3's..they usually protest after a full-strength feeding. I just gave them water with cal-mag, bembe, signal, humic acid, and a little Open Sesame. I also sprayed everybody down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time today. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls are a much lighter shade of green than anybody else in the garden. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: Now they look deficient in N and K...ffs! I'll go back to feeding them with everyone else, but will make up a batch of weaker nutes for them. I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's not cooler than 72f, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.

7/5/25 plant is stretching. Not sure if its preflowering or just being outside in a bigger pot. Im just going to let her grow naturally and see how it turns out. I may end up with just one diary of each strain at the moment. But im also not sure whether im going to be doing indoor or outdoor based on personal circumstances.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Sticky Rice is still a little on the small side, but it has this awesome glossy shine to its leaves. I think it has the potential to really take off. Maybe it'll even live up to its name and produce some super sticky buds. We'll see! Last week was awesome! I finally got around to giving all my plants a little upgrade – I repotted them into some bigger homes. They're all looking so happy and healthy now, it's crazy. I can't wait to see how much they grow this year!

I've given triacontanol a whirl I don't have a control to compare to and I've gone from coco to dwc but there is a shitload of tops emerging , its paste I've used at a rate of 1g to 20l of feed I've only hit her with it twice once in veg and just in wk 1 of flower it does make the feed frothy but not to a problematic point from what little info I've found less is more with it I've backed right off with part a and upped part b of the hydrocrop and next feed is pk am aiming for 1gpw if I manage that il be 😊

Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.

I've had some trouble since transplanting. Seemed to be either, root rot or perhaps a potassium deficiency issue. The leaves were all yellowing from the outside moving in, starting on the lower leaves, growth didn't stop though. Anyway, I watered with natural liquid-based fertilizer and it seemed to have corrected itself.

C est la fin pour la strawberry gorilla, elle a quelques trichromes ambrés. Elle sera récoltée demain à D86. Elle est petite mais les têtes ont l air très lourde et elle sent tes fort ! Il reste environ une semaine pour l orange sherbet. Elle a l air délicieuse avec des têtes très denses également. C est celle que j ai le plus hâte de goûter. Il reste un peu plus d une semaine pour la gorilla cookies, Elle est énorme avec de grosses têtes !

Last week in Veg 😶 Defoliated them and took small vegetation off from the base. Flushed them today as well with above concentrations. After the switch, I will take Rhyzotonic out of the feed gradually in a week and add Canna Boost. I have set the time to 12 - 12 now 💤 And I have taken a clone off of Renaissane # 2nd pheno (1st in the row), hopefully it lives, I will keep posted.
