Day 28-35 (May 28th - June 4th) (Day 29) My rooted blackberry #3 clone looks like it’s finally starting to reveg. It’s starting to stretch it’s internodes but no new growth yet. Nearly all 9 are pushing roots now. What a waste of time taking clones in flower! Won’t ever do that again. Grapefruit #1 has a twin! I thought it was just an odd formation on the taproot but two seedlings are pushing out. I wonder if it will be genetically identical. It’s definitely slower growing than the other one so who knows. I will try to train them apart when the time comes. (Day 30) I think the EC/PPMs are too high on nearly every plant including my veggies. The promix is actually really hot for a “blank” medium coming in at 1800. Adding compost and amendments to that is probably raising it to 2500+ at least. It should self balance the more I water it but I know for a fact I can get better growth by leaching the soil around each plant. Next time I use promix for anything, I’m going to prewash it like coco coir and add a dash of oyster shell flour for pH and calcium. (Day 32) Purple tuna is now big enough to start lst on now. I’m going to wait a little while for the slurricanes. (Day 33) One of the grapefruits has a twin that actually popped... I’m going to leave it and see how she turns out (Day 35) I’m going to prune off the lower leaves on each plant. I was going to lst Purple tuna but it’s so vigorous I may as well just top/mainline it. Autoflowers are looking established and should be taking off this week. I wonder if this will give them enough time to veg into decent sized plants before they flower. I won’t be topping or even doing lst. My goal is 22 big spear colas from each plant. I’m going to get all my rooted clones into 1.7 gallon pots over the next week or so.

week 5 of the flowering period. the smell is very strong now. if theres no fresh air (during the night) the smell is so intense that it just stinks lol. the buds however smell very nice and sweet up close. there is a lot of thc visible already aroud the buds. the night temperatures have dropped a lot the past week but its ok for the final weeks. this strain normally finishes at week 7 but i let her go till week 8 to get extra frost on the buds maybe 9 weeks if the temperatures dont go too low

The two surviving Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants develop well after they were planted in soil. The first pot is very small (0,25 l) and only a little watering is necessary now. As you can see in the pics the roots grow VERY WELL with the Voodoo Juice from Advanced Nutrients.

Started with new fertilizer, just to end the cycle. Concentration of 1200 ppm Some leaves degradation can be seen. Watering has intensified. Flushed both with 5 liters of tap water.

Very nice plant to grow. Beautiful flowers covered with trichomes. The smell is very lemon citrus flavourt. She gave a bit of a stretch. I think she isn’t the biggest yielder but definitely quality over quantity. Later on the results. Very pleased sofar! I underestimate the density of the buds. Dry weight 375 gram of 5 plants. Pheno number 2 yielded almost 100 gram! Powerfull lemon flavour with a touch of sour. Running pheno number 2 again!

This plant has been a Beast has been going very healthy and very strong I have been defoliation heavily to ensure maximum light penetration into the canopy in order to make them ready for flowering cycle . Added Yara Kristalon Orange, Yara Calcinit and a little bit of Haifa GrowClean to the reservoir. Adjusted PH/ORP, PH- adds P and ORP adjustment adds K. Light intensity is measured at the hottest spot. The stem is swelling, the netcups are 24/7 soaked due to the pipe being full with roots and increased water levels, next grow I'll go for a bigger pipe. The stem is not getting soft it is actually harder at the splitting part. Flowers are swelling up nicely, no deficiencies, stretch stopped, EC 1800-2000 seems to be a good range for this strain/pheno in my specific setup. Did some defoliation as needed. Can't increase the light distance anymore, kinda hot for the super stretched branches but great for the rest, the super stretched branches don't show any sign of stress so I take that :) Nothing else to report.
