Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. All plants were thinned out a little below. Since not much light was able to reach these shoots. Now we give them a week or two before we go into bloom.

I was on a business trip, so one week is skipped. We are slowly approaching the finale. The Widow and Northern Lights are a little behind. EC - 2000µS/cm PH - 6,5pH

Le 48ème jour se déroule avec grâce, malgré un léger obstacle : une carence en calcium touchant l'une de nos chères plantes. Heureusement, avec une dose ajustée de calcium, j'espère avoir rectifié ce déséquilibre, veillant à ce que notre verdoyante compagne retrouve son équilibre nutritionnel. Cette plante, bien que modeste en taille, se distingue par sa structure compacte et robuste. Ses fleurs commencent à se parer d'une riche couche de trichomes, scintillant de promesses et de potentiel. Je poursuivrai l'apport méticuleux de nutriments, dansant délicatement sur la ligne fine entre suffisance et excès. L'objectif reste clair : nourrir sans surcharger, pour éviter tout risque de brûlure par excès de nutriments. Au regard de l'état actuel de notre protégée, je prévois qu'elle atteint son apogée dans les 9 à 10 semaines. Remarque : carence en calcium a la 5/6e semaines rectifié avec l'ajout de CallMag La plante présente un grand nombre de trychomes et des feuilles violacée sur le dessous. Engrais : moitié de la dose recommandée en NPK pour corriger les carences, a vérifier si brûlures.

I would give this strain an average rating. Nothing great nor bad. I have had both better and worse strains.

An in to soil she and her sister testers go, i know that for know everything looks the same , apart from the photos, but this will start changing with them growing. For now all of them are growing pretty much the same and now that they move in to soil and start feedings they will start showing the phenotype and genetic differences, but for now all looking great , healthy and strong af!!! Monday 12/12 - week 3 bloom begins, light height is 14” from canopy but only 6” from main colas - small plants is far far behind in height now sadly don’t think it will catch up now Tuesday 13/12 - heavy defoliation on the 3 large plants - light defoliation on the small one - raised the SCRoG and moved sites around to space them out - cleared some small and stringy sites from the bushy back right plant

Removed some buds that weren't getting any light, I ran into some issues regarding mold and that is most likely due to the fact that the RH % of my tent goes up to 70/80% at night. I've removed all mold I could see (2 branches) and I am keeping a close eye on them, I've placed a new tower fan and another small adjustable fan in the tent for more airflow, my dehumidifier is coming in 2 weeks (around the time this grow is finished..)

Opening this week is a surprise as the height of the untopped is surprisingly stretches the topped one stays compact and bushy First signs of pistils shows more clearly here I defoliated some lower leaves in couple days of the late week and LST at the end of week’s day before lights off.

Well, I dont think these girls ever want to stop stretching. They stalled and then shot up again with my tallest tops at almost 50" (127 cm). The buds are all starting to swell and get some nice density from the bottom buds to the colas. The frost keeps piling up all over the buds and the smell has started to become more pronounced by the day, but still very earthy. I bumped up the C02 to 1600ppm for the rest of the grow, with no C02 the last week. This is week 7 of 10 and I'm ready to see what the results will be.

As hot weather is on the way next week, I have not choice but to harvest. With multiple humid days in the 30s forecast I know its either harvest now or contend with grow tent temps close to 40c. Definitely not going to help the terps anyhow. Honestly I think she needs another few days, but super close either way. Trichs are predominantly milky white with just a tiny amount of amber. Managed to get a 5 day flush, not ideal but best I could do before the heat comes. Will manicure really well to speed up the dry time, hoping for a 4 day dry to avoid the hot weather. 🔥
