Well I found out what happened to the plant. Took forever to get the footage but I finally did. Windy Day + Forgot To Water = Plants Blown Over The Edge I also moved the other plant inside to see if it will do any better vs outside in the cold wet weather, stringed up some other lights and will update this soon. Just wanted to get the main pic of the missing plant up and my disappointment for the side by side contest. Given the outcome of the Dynomyco contest I will not be giving them credit for anything and will remove all branding in this contest. They have picked a diary that did not adhere to the rules they set in place then they arbitrarily changed the rules.... Sick of this shit from companies and grow diaries. The diary they picked as #1 is a joke, it does not showcase the product at all. Its a good looking plant but it does not tick any of the boxes for the contest. From the contest page. They did not document every transplant, and the one they did do was one single photo. "pics" as in plural as per contest rules. They did not use clones/cuttings from the same strain as was the contest requirements, Over all a complete shit show and I would not recommend using this product if you use any form of phosphorous fertilizer It will not add anything for your grow. Germinated pretty well. It's now been 2 weeks since it's erupted from the soil and uh looks good for now. I haven't given them any nutrients yet might start on the third week so 14/12/2020.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

This entry covers days 15-23. Same as last week, there is a timelapse! I hope you check it out. (Timelapse to be added ASAP! The internet is too slow to upload it now! This past week I've upped the nutrients to about 410 ppm. This is a stronger nutrient solution than the one I used for my GSC at this age. I decided to up the nutrients so much because I noticed my leaves were a bit light in color, which I thought might be because it was lacking enough nutrients. Unfortunately the leaves are still this same light green at the end of this week, as well as some light splotches. Today, day 23, has seen some confusion. I found what I thought to be root rot, but turned out to be a nutrient buildup. I treated this using Jef79's suggestion of rinsing with water than matches the pH and temperature of my reservoir. I know the brown roots were from this nutrient build up because simply rinsing them helped a lot. After resolving this issue, I bound her down for some low stress training.

Here we are with another exciting new product from Zamnesia, Gush Mintz. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find worked with slightly different techniques this time for a change, we did two toppings in the center and left something under worked with LST, let's see what happens. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers. So, if the leaves become too dark or, worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy", it is time to lighten or stop the base fertilizer. She is a bit dark and I slowed down by giving only the additives. Comparison is the salt of the experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT! Absolutely ridiculous growth coming from Lois on the right. Megan struggled her whole life and I couldn't figure out the issue so I took her out of the hydroton and found she was massively tangled. I freed her and transplanted to soil in my room to give her another shot at life!

I swear every time I LST, within a few hours, they are right back covering the spots I tied down and opened up. I haven't had to give them nutes just yet because of the FoxFarm soil. I try to wait about a month before starting to give nutes after transferring them to this soil bc this soil already has so many nutes in it already. At the rate they're growing, they're likely going to be in need of a feeding very soon. Plan to top GDP2 again in a few days. GDP1 and BK I may top a 3rd time but I haven't decided. I don't want them to get so bushy that the tent becomes too small. And yes I decided I'm not going to LST GDP2. I may tie her down some for light exposure but no bending and tying down like with GDP1 and BK. More updates to come as the week goes. 6/29: I topped GDP2 one more time. I made sure I didn't FIM this time lolol. I topped all 3 new stalks which should give me 6 more, I believe. BK, I defoliated her lightly yesterday, took off a lot of the really large fan leaves. You can't even tell I didn't anything now lolol They're growing big and beautiful especially GDP2 since I've decided not to LST. I did tie down one of her branches though to give more light to other lil potential bud sites. 😍😘😌 6/30: I tested the PPM of the run off water and it's still pretty high even though I haven't added any nutes at all to any of the water I've watered them with. Only pH'ed the water and that's it. I'll be holding off a little longer before feeding them. That FoxFarm Happy Frog soil is no joke... hot hot hot...

Transplant week moved them out frm the solo into 1gal pots. Still under 24hrs light cycle with heated pad beneath them. Started nute feed also this week.

Hi Growers. Everything is going well. Earlier this week I did another super light feeding, the same as last week. I raised the light to 50” and increased the light to 80% and will adjust accordingly per plant and environmental needs. I did notice a bit of yellowing on the PE and yesterday decided to do a stronger feed and go from there. I don’t want them starving and getting stressed into flower. After the first light feeds they popped up nicely so I’m interested to see how they like the higher feed. Environment wise, I turned on the oscillating fan to just help them strengthen their stocks and branches and still have the humidifier on. Temps & RH are good, no hot temp is a bit cool but it’s only 4 hrs. What week do you growers start training autos?? I’m starting node 5. Thanks for stopping, leave a like or comment if you’d like.
