ULH1 is finishing its weird flowers, will be harvested in a couple of days because its almost done and i need the pot for the AH2. WOuld let her more time if she had normal flowers... ULH2 is putting some weight in the flowers this week. AH1 is growing like a real monster. The weather is better than a couple of months ago, so im sure both AH will grow big ^^, feeding her high, she seems to eat a lot . AH2 the lil baby is rooting and waiting for a new final pot.

This grow was all about learning the process of hydroponics. Needles to say It is not as easy as it looks and takes a lot of time to set up and so... But along the way with help from several growmies it came to a unexpected result. 227 gram dry weight of good quality cannabis. This result ,I'm very happy ,has so much room for improvement that I can't wait for the next grow. I like to thank Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these awesome genetics, I suspect this is a big part of the result, the freebies and a lot of weed. Ofcourse I couldn't wait for the cure and started smoking. Man this stuff is sticky!! The smell is already hard to resist. The taste could be better,no cure yet, Very fresh but you smell and taste the potential. Being a long time haze smoker the effect is not exactly my thing but at night after dinner with a cup of coffee that's more what this is. Being a older person the hardest part of this contest is this damn diarie. Still find it difficult to find my ways. How many times I have to do this over 😤 I will grow this stuff again , never was a big fan of autoflowers but this outcome made me a believer. The starting plugs that came with these seeds are from now on a absolute must have! You see the difference . I cleaned the Aquafarm and it's ready for the other strain "Legendary OG Punch", that's now inside the growplug. Unfortunately to late for a full grow to be in competition but will make a diarie never the less.

From the early stages of vegetative vigor, through the lush canopy of mid-flower, and even through the challenges of heat and bud rot, these girls showed true resilience. Each setback taught something — about balance, airflow, humility, and the living rhythm of nature. Both plants were ultimately harvested with respect and gratitude. ⸻ ✂️ Harvest & Trimming After about two weeks of slow drying at 60°F / 60% RH, the branches began to snap — a sure sign the moisture was just right. Each plant was trimmed by hand, carefully and patiently, letting every calyx, pistil, and trichome tell its own story. The buds were dense, sticky, and heavily frosted — a trimmer’s delight. Finger hash collected along the way was pure gold, rich in aroma and bursting with terpenes. Each snip of the scissors felt like sculpting something sacred. Both plants were dried whole, allowing for slower moisture migration and a smoother final cure. ⸻ 🌿 On Trichomes and Harvest Timing We chose to harvest when most trichomes were cloudy, with only a few still clear and very few amber. This moment — just before full amber maturity — is where potency meets flavor at its peak. Why cloudy trichomes? Because that’s when cannabinoids like THC and terpenes are at their maximum activity. Too early, and you lose potency; too late, and THC starts converting into CBN, giving a heavier, sleepier effect. Cloudy trichomes deliver a balanced high — euphoric yet grounding — capturing the essence of the strain in its full potential. ⸻ 🌸 Aroma, Taste & Effects The Lava Cake lives up to her name and lineage. 08/21/2018 Day 1 week 3 Starting the week with second set of leaves,1st real leaves single leaves, second set is 3. It looks like one of the seedling leave is fading?.. Watching, maybe add nutes ? this week 08/22/2018 First root touching water! Here come the roots!🙏 for good week. Not sure when I add nutes. Maybe mid week. The codytledons (seedling leaves) are still healthy suggesting to me they still have nutes for seedling growth. 08/25/2018 More leaves,more roots,still no nutes,codytledons still looking good no fade. 08/26/2018 Uploaded root shots, codytledons may be withering away look closer tomorrow mornin 08/27/2018 Got up to 90° in tent, I turned on the red spectrum last night at 25%, Blue spectrum is at 100% Also some signs that codytledons turning pale, nutes coming soon 1/2 strength 💪 of course see how she responds increase as needed.

😅 Another Hot Week 🌶️🌶️🌶️ High temperatures 🌡️🌡️🌡️and lots of sun 🌞🌞🌞 and no rain 🌧️ ➡️ The buds are ripe and ready to harvest 🌰 Their scent is strong 👃👃👃 ➡️ Just a little water at the beginning of the day 💧💧💧 📍 Plant #1 (154cm) is the biggest plant and definitely the best yielder. A bit leafy in the buds 📍 Plant #2 (140cm) a slightly smaller plant. The modest sister of Plant #1. Less leafy in the buds 📍 Plant #3 (139cm) also a slightly smaller plant, but a different phenotype as Plant #1 and #2. Many trichomes and therefore a white appearance Open plant, almost no leafs in the buds. Maybe more flavorful than numbers 1 and 2, or a higher-head sativa effect. We will know soon 😃 Eighth week of Light Deprivation 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 9:00 am I move the plants to the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 9:00 pm I move the plants (together with some other strains) inside the growroom (which I don't use in the summer)

Day 141 still going started to reveg but lowered light schedule

Slight light burn on a couple plants had to raise the LED. On the off week Light seems to be allot more effective at civering the space although the plants did not take well to the spectrum/heat adjustment so the first two days i had to ween the light on a couple hours at a time. I could tell when they needed a break because they woukd physically get droopy once they got over whelmed eventually they got used to it tho!
