I use unfertilized soil as a base.🌱 And I add organic nutrients from GreenHouseFeeding that I mix at the top of the pot (35Grams BioGrow 14Grams Biobloom). Then I water each pot with 1L of water.💧 I use tap water. Gelato x GMO is taking off in the 15 gallon pot, showing rapid growth every day. The Blue MOBs seem to have stopped growing vertically in the 5 gallon buckets and are now filling out existing branches while they all reach for the sun. The 15 gallon Blue MOB seems to still be growing in height as well as filling out existing branches. Heavy rain has been persistent with few days of direct sunlight yet plants are still growing. Massachusetts ended up receiving the tail end of a big storm so I have not had to water them the entire week, the soil has stayed damp and kept the plants hydrated

UPDATE GUYS!!!!! So the girls are doing great I got some new genetics also I'll be doing for my next grows and so forth, but yea just watering as necessary, I really really feel that this process is a learning curve for me lol, mainly because I've learned from the past that everything comes with progress trial and error, so I'm learning which I accept so its okay its okay haha but things are progressing and ill stay up to date with this for you guys thanks!!!!

day 42 images are in last week, I can not count XD. bridal is stacking a lot of weight and is constantly shifting/leaning every morning, good things. I would chop any day but I will wait it out. water, tiny bit of humic and folvic to reduce chloromine, chlorine- air stones day 45 took a few nugs off on day 42, dried for 3 days. Tried bridal and blackberry. As a heavy recreational, thc is up there! bridal felt like having a blindfold over your eyes somewhat sativa uplift but heavy weight feelings. Very good. Lasted as good as 30%'s. Dr. Thunder was also very nice, nug was smaller so mixed with blackberry to have a small j. Also feels very good indica. Both trials were chopped on week 6 day 1. Very pleased with the results. I was worried bridal was more sativa; which charasteristica I am not looking for. So I believe this is a very good heavy hitter run with 4 plants. I can chop any day, but I am waiting for pink paradise to finish seeds. day45 took top nugs from bridal party, blackberry oreo bigstuff and dr. thunder. Aug 3: still going strong starting the third week of flowering. I’m putting her in the garage at 9 pm, doing the 730 nm far red light to put plant into dark mode 2 h faster, and then out of garage at 7 am. So 10+ 2 h is 12 h dark and 14 h daylight or a 26 h day. The far red light definitely works as a bloom booster and helps the plants finish faster when the sun is stronger. Did morning foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate. Aug 4: always some defoliation to be done and I took out all the small stuff that was growing into the centre. If I had a longer season I could have left some of these small branches but I want the energy directed toward the prime bud sites. Also removing leaves makes it more stable in the wind. Yet another growing trade-off. Aug 5: she looks great coming out of the dark garage this morning. Lots of colas with lots of buds 👍👍 Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. This far north we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. By adding UV lights, this will make Edmonton in September seem like California in July. Along with genetics, UV light is the main factor controlling trichome and THC production. Adding UV light for a couple of hours per day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm) should help a lot this far north. At the other end of the light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoor (FGI) 730 nm far red light. This is the third season using the far red light as a bloom booster and it definitely works. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes to put the plant into dark mode two hours faster, and is like getting a 26 h day. Bud ripen earlier and therefore under stronger sun. Both of these lights are low power LED used for a few hours (UV) or just a few seconds (far red). Gotta love science and technology when it allows us to figure this kind of out.

Purple Haze has responded beautifully to that approach. Her canopy remains open. Airflow is excellent. The branches have plenty of space. Nature has done most of the hard work for me. 💡 Lumiflora Under-Canopy Lighting One exciting addition to this grow is the use of Lumiflora under-canopy lighting. Traditional grow lights do an incredible job illuminating the tops of the plants, but lower flowering sites naturally receive much less usable light as the canopy becomes denser. Under-canopy lighting helps change that. By gently illuminating the lower sections of the plant, these fixtures help those secondary flowers receive additional energy without forcing aggressive defoliation. They're not a magic solution. They won't suddenly transform small buds into giant colas overnight. What they do offer is another opportunity for lower flowering sites to remain productive while helping create a more evenly developed plant from top to bottom. Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. This week I will start flushing for 2 weeks. The breeders description said 8 to 9 weeks of flowering, But I found I like to grow everything to 10 week of flowering. I find I like nice mature buds a little past, what some people call, prime conditions. Now that I have a number of flowering areas I might put 1 to sativa use and start flowering 12 to 18 weeks or start some sativa at 12/12. But first I have to get through about 1 1/2 years of bought seeds I have sitting here all 10 week of flowering or less. I would like a good stable of prize females, and then I'll start making my own fem seeds and seeing what new strains I can come up with. The smell is mostly citrus now with some earthy/watery undertones. Keep Growing Straight. Chuck.

Have replaced the 10L pot to a 25L on ZZ Punch #2 3 days ago. Maybe this #2 need more magnesium? ZzPunch #1 the Hermaphodite havê some males opened :) soon be dad :) Well seems #2 not healthy. What should I do? :)

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on this awesome little Northern Light Blue Auto from Delicious Seeds! I have been giving plain tap water run through 2 KDF filters as of 9/5 and I moved her into the bloom room under quantum boards set on 12/12 to make room for the next run and maybe help her finish faster. 9/9 - She seems to be bulking up a bit in her last few days, but I waited a day too long to water and got she started to wilt/droop a bit. So, there are a few dead/brown leaves I've been having to pick out of her and thus begins pre-harvest defoliation. 9/13 - More defoliation and put her in a loosely sealed box to give 48-72 hours darkness. Harvest, coming soon. 9/15 - Checked her today and she could still use another day to dry out. I have never tried the darkness before harvest thing, but a lot of growers swear by it. So, I figure, why not? I will let her go until she is a bit drier and then give her the chop! Thanks for checking out my diary. 8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. STOPPED AFTER GETTING MY TIRES PUT ON AND DAD SAID THE LITTLE PLANT IN THE 5 GAL BUCKET IS DROOPING. I WENT BACK AND OF COURSE IT WAS. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. the two BPP R3 in soil went into bloom. the dwc are starting to enter bloom slowly as well 36-42 The veg and seedling cycle on the three gallon pot was short and it's gone into bloom with very little stretching. All of the plants look healthy, they look fine, no nutrient. Or PH issues Only one banana purple punch has been in bloom for about two weeks.Two out of the other four are about to finish stretching and go into bloom, and the fourth one is still a little stunted.And delayed. The cherry lemon gelato in the deep water culture just entered bloom. The gorilla z is still in veg

Week 12 Correct flowering. The light set-up (TS 1000 x 2) seems working well for this size of tent. The plants weren’t totally healthy when they started the flowering, just recovering from a stress period. Considering that: it’s not so bad for the moment. Some yellow leaves on the base and low branches. I gave more Cal/Mag during watering. The problem of burning leaves is resolved: may be the enriched soil gave enough nutrients and add more nutrients to boost growth was a mistake. Difficult to be certain about the cause of the stress period. Flo since 3 weeks : Sour Diesel and AK47 look more Sativa than the others: vertical stretch + long intermodal distance. Little flowers and pistils for now. Gorilla is not well developed but flowers are growing : producing amazing long pistils. Bubble Gum is a pretty plant, bushy with a regular canopy for a good flowering. Green Punch was the most shocked and hard to save so the flowering is on the way for this surviving plant. CaliFunk is definitely short and solid, with not so much ramifications. Pretty flowers growing.o one of the most advanced plant in the flowering process. Watering each 2 days = CalMag + Master Grower(Flo) = CalMag + PK 13/14 = CalMag + Nettle manure’s Sprayed week 11 a specific insecticide (ok for organic cultivation) against aphids ( Colza oil) and week 12 the nettle manure’s repulse aphids and nitrogen boost.

What started as a true 12/12 from seed run—no veg, no transplant games, no extended shaping, just straight into flower from the beginning—has now matured into exactly what this style is meant to show: natural structure, honest expression, and plants allowed to speak for themselves. From day one, these LSD were asked to do one thing only: grow with intent. No long vegetative period. No oversized training sessions. No forced bush structure. No attempt to make them become something they were never meant to be. Just seed, root, stretch, stack, mature. And that is exactly why this room looks the way it does now. ⸻ Why They Look Like This One of the most beautiful things about 12/12 from seed is that it reveals plant character early and honestly. Without a long vegetative period, these plants never had the time—or the pressure—to build wide, heavily manipulated frameworks. Instead, they followed a more natural vertical rhythm: apical dominance stayed intact, main tops remained leading, and side branching developed in support rather than competition. That is why this room carries that classic spear-shaped structure: strong central leaders, supporting side branches, elegant vertical stacking, and that clean “natural Christmas tree” silhouette from top to bottom. For many growers, this shape reads visually “sativa.” Not because the cultivar suddenly became sativa-dominant, but because the growth pattern expresses more like one under this method: taller posture, longer frame, more pronounced central cola, cleaner lateral support, and less squat horizontal bulk. Genetically, that is not the full story. Structurally, though? That is exactly what they are showing. And they are showing it beautifully. ⸻ The Room Is Alive At this stage, the room has changed. This is no longer a room pushing for biomass. This is no longer a room chasing stretch. This is no longer a room trying to build flowers. This is now a room finishing them. And there is a difference. Late flower is not the moment to keep forcing nitrogen, forcing bulk, or trying to squeeze one more week of artificial push into a plant that is already trying to mature. At this point, more food often does not mean more flower. It usually means more delay. So now we reduce input, reduce excess, reduce waste, and let the plant focus on what matters most: ripening what it already built. ⸻ Why Enzymes Still Matter This late, enzymes are not here to “feed the plant.” They are here to support the system around it. That matters. Enzymes help break down dead root material, leftover organic residue, and unused matter in the medium into simpler compounds the microbial life can continue processing. That keeps the rhizosphere cleaner. More stable. More oxygenated. Less stagnant. In simple terms: enzymes help the root zone age gracefully. And in late flower, that matters more than force-feeding ever will. Especially in a run like this, where the medium is still alive, still active, and still worth preserving after harvest. Because the goal is not just to finish the plant well. The goal is to finish the soil well too. What remains after harvest still matters. That living medium still has value. That biology still has work to do. That soil still has another life ahead of it. So we are not just finishing flowers. We are finishing the cycle properly. ⸻ Trichomes, Calyx, and What Maturity Actually Looks Like This is the stage where people often mistake “more pistils” for “more time” or “fading leaves” for “finished.” Neither one tells the full story on its own. Late flower maturity is not judged by one signal. It is judged by the conversation between all of them. And right now, that conversation is getting very interesting. The calyx are swelling. The flowers are tightening. The resin heads are becoming heavier. The pistils are changing, receding, darkening, and curling back. The leaves are beginning to fade with purpose. As plants approach the end, reducing PPFD helps lower unnecessary stress, reduce excess transpiration, and let the plant focus on ripening instead of defending itself from intensity it no longer needs. Late flower is not about maximum push. It is about controlled finish.
