Note: At time of writing the Runtz has had 2 weeks cure, will update the review and rate it after 2+ months cure. Hermied a bit, has very few seeds so not too bad. Growth review: - vigorous grower during veg - solid stretch - medium internode distance - small sized buds - lower buds not too airy - very easy/not fussy - medium amount of smell - 80+ days flower (12/12) in hydro DWC under full spectrum led - responded well to various lst techniques Ease of growth rating: 9/10 General note: --> For me personally this strain NEEDS a good cure and is not worth smoking yet... It has a bit of a citrus grassy (not hay) taste, with some 'special' fruity smells to it that remind a bit of grapes/cassis. When grinding/opening the curing pots there is a pretty dank heavy weed smell so I think the quality will come out after a few months of cure... In its current state not worth smoking for the taste or effect after 14 days cure. --> Currently the effect is not very strong, easy to handle and I need a lot to feel a bit. The effect lasts for short compared to the average strains I smoke. Should develop more character with a longer cure. Hash making notes: - water extraction of the trim yielded 16g of hash (45mc-220mc) - rosin has a bit too much of a weird spicy grassy taste which make it a bit unpleasant, waiting till the buds improve with cure to try again - rosin color at 80c is yellow/white/beige creamy waxy, with hard consistency - rosin color at 95c is golden with hard consistency

First week of flowering went good, plants are not really starting to stretch to much yet, screen is pretty much full already so I will probably just fill the last few squares on each side then I’ll add the second screen and let them grow up into it. I did a heavy defoliation at the end of week 1 as the screen was way to crowded. I’m going to wait till the end of week 2 and clear everything under the first screen then. Plants were also showing a little bit of nutrient burn on some of the leaf tips so I added about 3 gal of fresh water to my reservoir to dilute the mixture a bit. Overall it’s a very robust and leafy plant so far, lots of shouts coming up into the screen, should be a pack tent anyway. I’ll add more pictures throughout the week as well. Cheers 💨

31/07/23 Everything seems to be going really well even though I haven't added nutriments. I'm planning to use LST on plants 2, 3, and 4 this week, hoping not to mess anything up. I'll have to buy a dehumidifier too because it's very humid at my place right now, and I can't get the humidity level below 65% 01/08/23 I started the LST but only on 2 and 3, and I have no idea if I did it well, but I'm quite happy with the result. 02/08/2023 I have cut some leaves, especially on numbers 2 and 3, so that the little heads are no longer in the shade but directly in the light and I haven't touched number 1, I don't plan to touch it until the end.

Her smell has lessened. She has gone thru re begging well. A couple areas that had purple sprouts died out. Indication it doesn’t want to flower yet. Bottom half shows flower type tops and top half shoes vegging tips. Time will tell in a week what she does next

I added the remaining 9L to the reservoir and turned on the system. At the end of the day i added another 15L to the reservoir. The light is at 80% with an distance of 45/50 cm. LUX: 24.000 / 26.000 8-3 Temperature: 26.1 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 54% (highest) 40% (lowest) In the midday i turned off the reservoir, and at the end of the day the AutoPots were dry. I disconnected the 18/6 timer of the airpump, so now it runs 24/7 on full power. I checked the PH of the reservoir and it went up to 6.3, so thats quite high, i added some PH- to 6.0 Light is at 50 cm. 31-08-2019 Purple Kush started today after 12 weeks of low H5 light cycle is is good to get her into the new system Nutrition will be doubled on the next Nutrition Change out in 7 days. So far! All variables are under control. I like the fact I can turn the tap and check accurately and adjust if needed unlike soil unless you are using a soil kit all the time. 😎 Pump work 15 min intervals pumping Nutritional spray. 2 different Air flows 1) in solution with air stone and 2) open wand spray inside directed at the roots to provide additional oxygen.
