Hello Diary. The third week of flowering is over, what I would comment on first this week is the scent. Fat Banana began to spread a wonderful fruity scent, like some fruity candy. 😋 So far on my small farm no strain has smelled like this at this stage of flowering. The plant is full of flowers and as you can see in the photos, they fill up nicely. 👍 Brownish spots have started to appear on some leaves, I will monitor the development and try to detect what the cause is. 😯 Watering is standard, I water the plants about every three days. Preventively for now I add CalMg and every other time I add BioBizz. I am preparing about 7 lit. water with which I water all three plants evenly. Here’s what he looked like all week. 02/11/2020 - Day 39. Watering. I added BioBizz and preventive CalMg. p.H. I adjusted to 6.5 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26.7 degrees and 42% humidity. 05/11/2020 - Day 42. Photographing and watering. This time I just regulated p.H. at 6.4 and I didn’t add anything else. I also gave her pot a 1/4 turn. 9/29- Yesterday I didn't water her, only turned her pot and checked her over... Wow! She's really ramping up the trichomes making her flowers look like their sugar coated! 🤩 I watered her today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water with 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses added which was then ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. The molasses will give the microbial colony some additional food as well as supplying micro-nutrients to the plant. I finished out the daily maintenance giving her a check over and turning her pot 1/4 turn to ensure she gets light to every inch of her. 10/1- Yesterday was a 'no water' day as her pot was still fairly heavy to lift. Today she was watered with her usual of 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. Her flowering continues to impress me with her trichome production covering her flowers with 'frost' she's a sight for sore eye's! 😍 She's looking to be on track for a 11-12 week finish and will be an epic cultivar when she's done! 10/3- With Week Seven coming to a close we've got 4-5 weeks to go for this lady finish and she's right on track, looking like a Rock Star! 🤩 I watered heavy yesterday and added 1 tsp/g of Unsulfured Molasses to the 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. This week was ok. For the most part, the plants seem to be more healthier this week than the last 2. I decided to do a light flush yesterday on all plants. I ran 5 gallons of light strength nutrients through each plant. I can say that it did benefit the plants judging by the run off..i was able to get my runoff ph up to 5.7. At 1st I was getting 5.3. All of this happened because I didn't calibrate my ph pen from the last grow. Lesson learned. My initial goal was to flip into flowering next week which would complete an 8 week veg, but now i won't flip until I know the ladies are fully healthy. We shall see how they respond this next week..ill keep yall updated in my next upload

Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

Week 7 is going smoothly so far. The flooding issue has subsided and the clones seem to be really taking off now. I'm excited to get back from vacation and really see my girls and my reservoir conditions after a 2 week hiatus.

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. When a weed variety can develop medicinal qualities. When THC simply has a more complex effect on my organism, than just the usual power high. And if, a plant that hasn't even had the opportunity to reach its full potential, can do that, it has passed all the requirements of a cannabis variation, with flying colors. And on top of that, she seems incredibly graceful and elegantly feminine to me. It's just something very special: She's a Sweet Seed! Oh I see, I'm writing a real diary here... 😜 But I love that. But I think so. It seems incredibly energetic and relatively relaxed to me. I'm mentally very busy with her right now. Every morning I comb through her leaf picture. Make impressions of the smallest changes. I currently have Pk boosters or tea with her every third day, alternating. And in between only purified water with enzymes. Dark Devil and Big Devil I let slowly starve and then die of thirst. They consumed the last booster 4 days ago. She (Sour Jealousy) currently swallows 2.5 liters per day. That's really a lot. And in the morning she wants to have something again. I think the lamps tickle out their full potential. I meticulously defoliated her and now she stands happily and despite all the exertions, like a star in the sky. My star. 🌟 Sour Jealousy is really crazy, I can say that. And the coolest highlight will be: Lady Jealousy will soon be able to enjoy the whole place in the sun for the "grande finale". The smell of the two Sweet Seeds totally upsets me!
