This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

The THC BOMB is really starting to flower and form its budz....they are all getting their own set of nutrients because they are all at different stages...I WILL GET PICS OF ALL THREE STRAINS UP NEXT WEEK....meanwhile I just wanted to add a quick update and some close up of the buds starting to form...nutes were given this morning and the next few days of perfectly ph'd water should make next week a good one...providing nothing goes wrong in the meantime...some of the fox farms nutes aren't in the drop down menus...im using the basic soil trio pack at half dosages...

Hello Growmies, Week 3 for our Watermelon Candy by Zamnesia is unfolding with promise as we observe their transition through pre-flower. Opting for low-stress training over topping, we're guiding their growth gently to maximize their potential. The plants have gracefully reached our SCROG, and with two already skillfully trained, they are demonstrating adaptability and robustness. Through the canopy, we see an even spread of foliage, indicating that our LST approach is on point. The structure of the plants is sturdy, showing that the careful maneuvering through the SCROG mesh has been well received. The greenery is lush, leaves are perked up, reaching for the light—signs that our Watermelon Candy plants are in their element and thriving. Our environmental management has mirrored the successful strategies implemented with our Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains. Daytime conditions are meticulously controlled, with the Tent-X system maintaining VPD within the ideal range for healthy plant activity. However, as we've noted with our other strains, our nighttime VPD control presents a challenge. The data indicate a discrepancy in maintaining optimal humidity levels when the lights are off, suggesting that our current setup is not fully regulating the environment during these crucial hours. The intention to integrate the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is a move towards rectifying this issue, with the aim to achieve a seamless 24-hour environmental control. The transition to this enhanced system will ensure that our Watermelon Candy plants receive the same level of consistent care throughout their entire growth cycle. Their current robust state and the proactive steps we are taking to fine-tune their environment have set a strong foundation for the weeks to come. I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

The plants look and feel incredible, I can't wait to do some serious supercropping later into this week. Follow along! This should be fun. Day 3 flower update: holy cow I love these plants, I am having a ton of growth and turned the optic 8s up to 100/50/25 and going to leave it here until 9/1 then switch to 100/60/50 and see how they react. Clones got cleaned out today to a buddy so we can further a couple other strains, the Chempie cuts were exquisite. Side note a little bit of nutrient burn noticed on main girl ZKWC but not anything to stress about, washing machine mother does not seem to mind a higher EC feed. The last few weeks have been a 30 second watering once a day. As of today 8/23 I am switching to 5/5/2.5/2.5 ml/g for BasisA/BasisB/StartR/Calimagic. I am obviously not an expert grower, just a guy trying to grow some beautiful big fat flowers. Take my advice with a grain of salt but feel free to lurk and watch the results! So day 4 of flower I was contemplating what my goal for this grow is, and I settled on schwazzing this grow, I did it with my first photo grow in Hydro and had awesome success on all but two plants (weaker blue dream phenos did not respond well and I had all kinds of feeding issues not entirely sure they would've made it without the schwaz either but anyways...) So yeah we're gonna try it out. Plants are bouncing back quickly from everything, I supercropping a ton to really spread the plant out and I'll be throwing a trellis back up after they have a chance to reach.

Today we turned the Scorpion up to full power and raised it to 38 1/2 inches above pots and getting a reading of 520 - 530 par ! gonna let the babies grow into the light now over the next few weeks till they hit into flower an keep a steady eye on it Incase I got to raise the light higher or lower !! Air temp an humidity has been great , stayin from 70-75 degrees through the day an humidity is staying around 58% ! So far so good Let’s grow lil Babies let’s grow!!! Let’s see , humidity is an issue . It’s higher than I’d like it to be . I added drip pans & two different miniature forms of dehumidifiers one electronic and the other passive . I need recommendations on affordable dehumidifiers before I run into mold issues . After breaking the apical dominance there was one or two issues but it gave me all the more admiration for the genetics to take a beating and still remain unbothered & WHOLE . A main top was bound too tightly & broke in half trying to pull itself back up . It remained broken and unnoticed for atleast 3 days before I saw the damage and taped it . She is now almost fully scarred over & healed . Vertical growth was decent this week I wouldn’t describe it as fast or explosive. Still watering to activate the dry amendments I can tell they haven’t began taking it up quite yet. Holy shit do they stink when not premixed into the soil before planting ! Just monitoring & trying to get as much dense continuous resin packed bud stacked up in there .

The nutrients provided include BioBizz Bio-Bloom, Bio-Grow, and Top-Max, which have been carefully measured and administered to support the plant’s transition into full flowering. Hello, Day 56, Flower Phase , Gelat.OG, Final week of flower phase is started, Day 63 or week 9 I am planing to harvest the plant, Trichomes still cloudy but in some buds I can see slightly amber color on Trichomes, I ll ask a QUS before I do the harvest anyways.
