My best work (or lack of work) to date. Just letting her grow was a very good method. Beautiful buds are throughout the plant. Trichomes are all clear so probably another 2 weeks.

Got the girls under the new xs2000 from viparspectra. I really love the style of this light! Check out their black friday sale here. https://www.viparspectra.com/collections/xs-series Day 14 for the gutter hoe grow show. The color was looking a little light so I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp and gave them a little calmag. The biggest challenge this week was not topping the plants. Letting them grow without topping isn't my style. I chose not to because these girls are going to be competing for light and space with some monsters soon. I will probably have to lift them up to get them even with the bigger plants. I expect them to start flowering in a week or so since they are on 12 12 lighting.

I've overwatered my plants the past 2 times, so I let them go through the whole drying cycle which took all week. I'm feeding them tomorrow morning. I put up my trellis and trained a couple branches and tops are already evening out. I also battled some fungus gnats this week.

🌱 Folder 09 | Candy Rain Auto Week 1 – Finding Her Rhythm Welcome to the first chapter of Candy Rain Auto in the 8×8 Adventure. Unlike many of her neighbors, Candy Rain didn’t have the easiest start. She entered the room a few days later than the rest of the project, immediately placing herself at a slight disadvantage on paper. But plants don’t read calendars, and every phenotype writes its own story. The purpose of the 8×8 Adventure has always been exactly this: documenting every individual plant honestly, allowing each genetic to express itself naturally under identical conditions. There are no races here. Every plant is given the same opportunity to demonstrate what it is capable of. Already during this first week, Candy Rain is proving that patience is often rewarded. While initially producing only simple juvenile leaves, she quickly transitioned into healthy three-finger leaves, with each new set arriving larger, wider and noticeably more vigorous than the last. The journey has only just begun. ⸻ 🌿 Grow Environment The entire room remains carefully controlled to provide every cultivar with the same stable environment. Environmental Conditions * 🌡️ Day Temperature: 27°C * 🌙 Night Temperature: 25°C * 💧 Relative Humidity: 55% * 🌱 Substrate Temperature: 21°C * 💦 Nutrient Solution Temperature: 20°C * ⚡ EC: 1.3 * pH: 6.0 * 💨 CO₂: 666 ppm * 💡 Light Cycle: 12 / 12 From Seed * ? Pot Size: 15 Litres Because Candy Rain emerged slightly later than the rest of the room, irrigation has been adjusted specifically to her needs. Rather than following the volume given to the larger plants, watering remains concentrated around the young root zone, encouraging the roots to actively search through the substrate while avoiding unnecessary saturation. ⸻ 🌿 Nutrition Candy Rain is receiving exactly the same Plagron Terra program as the rest of the garden, simply scaled appropriately for her stage of development. Feeding Schedule * Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L * Power Roots — 1 ml/L * Pure Zym — 1 ml/L * Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L * pH Plus — adjusted when necessary * Lemon Kick — adjusted when necessary The objective during these first weeks isn’t rapid top growth—it’s establishing a healthy root system capable of supporting explosive development once flowering begins. A strong foundation always pays dividends later. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development Watching this week’s progression has been incredibly satisfying. The earliest photographs show a delicate young seedling still carrying its juvenile characteristics. By the end of the week, however, the transformation is obvious. The stem has thickened considerably. Leaf spacing has become more symmetrical. The newest growth appears increasingly vigorous. Most encouraging of all is the transition into beautifully formed three-finger leaves, signalling that the plant has fully entered active vegetative development. Each new node displays noticeably more energy than the previous one, suggesting that the initial establishment period is already behind her. Despite being the smallest plant in the room, she doesn’t appear weak. Quite the opposite—she appears determined. ⸻ 📸 Behind This Week’s Photos Sometimes the smallest plants create the most rewarding photographs. The early overhead images capture a tiny seedling standing almost alone within a large container, emphasizing just how much potential still lies beneath the surface. As the week progresses, every photograph tells a different story. The side profiles reveal a stem becoming stronger each day, while the overhead shots beautifully document the increasing symmetry of the canopy. One of my favorite moments is seeing those first fully developed three-finger leaves spreading confidently across the frame. They’re small, but perfectly formed, and they represent the moment where Candy Rain truly begins her journey. Macro photography reminds us that growth doesn’t always happen dramatically. Sometimes the biggest victories are measured in millimetres. ⸻ 🌿 Looking Forward Next week should be particularly exciting. With the root system now becoming established, I expect noticeably faster vertical growth, larger fan leaves and shorter intervals between new nodes. The gap separating Candy Rain from the rest of the room should gradually begin to shrink. Autos often surprise us with sudden bursts of development once they settle into their final containers, and there are already signs that she may be preparing for exactly that. Her story isn’t about catching up. It’s about revealing what she’s capable of. ⸻ 💚 Thank You As always, thank you to every single person following this adventure. Whether you’ve been here since day one or you’ve only just discovered this diary, your encouragement, feedback and conversations are what make documenting every week so rewarding. This project isn’t simply about growing plants—it’s about learning together, sharing experiences and celebrating every stage of the journey. A huge thank you to GrowDiaries for providing a platform where growers from all over the world can learn from one another and document their passion. My sincere thanks also go to Plagron for providing the Terra nutrient line that is powering this entire 8×8 Adventure. Their products continue to deliver consistency, simplicity and reliability throughout every stage of growth. Finally, thank you to the incredible breeders whose genetics make projects like this possible. Every seed carries its own personality, and watching those differences unfold under identical conditions is one of the most fascinating parts of this journey. And of course… Growers Love and, Thank you for taking the time to follow along. One week at a time. One photograph at a time. One plant at a time. The 8×8 Adventure is only just getting started. 🌱💚

29.06. Rainbow Sherbet 1# Day 65# 1# is always thirstier than the others, at the very beginning she didn't like the strong sun at all, so I moved her to a mild shade where she adapted nicely, then slowly moved her more and more to the sun, where she is now constantly in direct sunlight and except that she gets thirsty again and starts to rebel against direct sunlight... until the problem mentioned below, she behaved great in the sun. Rainbow Sherbet 2# Day 63# The second one was affected a lot and today I removed a lot of its leaves again, it is missing 40 to 50% of its leaf mass, but it is holding on. 29.06. The plants have finally started growing again, some have almost completely recovered, some are still recovering, and some are in critical condition. The plants stopped growing for almost a week, maybe even that long, during those days they literally made no progress, the situation only worsened to the extent that I was sure that all but one plant would wither... There were storms yesterday and the day before yesterday, and that's why I'm late with the update because I couldn't take a picture of them, the gusts of wind were really strong. Watering is now more frequent and abundant, now I water them every 3rd or 4th day, everything depends on the temperature on those days, whether there is wind, how much moisture there is, etc. The last time they were watered was before the storm and they are already thirsty today as you can see in the pictures, it will be a day and I will water them in the morning. Today I removed their leaves again and now I can freely say that they have twice as few leaves as they should, so when it's time for defoliation, I probably won't do it at all, or at least not a lot. The day before yesterday it was the end of the ninth week for the plants, now they are already in the tenth, but in order not to miss the ninth week, I will write it in the ninth and I will write the next update 2 days earlier, more precisely, on time. The day before yesterday it also rained, there was a downpour for about 40 minutes, but the spray that I sprayed on the plants failed to absorb, it simply stuck to the leaf, it is greasy, you can see that in the pictures, the leaves are shining. I think the biggest problem was caused by the fact that it sticks to the leaf and when the sun is strong, the leaf simply burns. In general, do not use the product from the last picture, it can easily kill the plants. Most of the plants have almost recovered and are getting better, however, the rain can't stop that shit and I also tried to wash it, but it's not worth it, so there is a high probability that the problem will return when the temperatures rise again and the UV is almost extreme and that could be a problem... the temperatures have normalized again to 30 during the day, but in 4-5 days they are announcing again around 36-7.. I will copy the problem that befell the plants from the previous two diaries of other strains from a few days ago in order not to explain everything again, so whoever is interested should read it in more detail. 25.06. the condition is medium sad... the plants have not progressed at all, why? Well, because I'm a moron who doesn't think... Basically, what happened.. I sprayed the plants with an organic preparation against thrips and similar pests and if there was no need for it because this is growing outside and absolutely these little things can't do anything for them except something miserable to slow down their growth, but nothing terrible... and now, I didn't even want it to slow them down miserably, so I ordered a product called "SMC Spidermite Control" I sprayed the plants overnight, the next day when I came to the site, I had something to see... which is the worst I sprayed all the plants, instead of checking on one and only then spraying the others...autos I wanted to spray all the same, luckily I only sprayed 5 of them, as if God himself told me "wait until tomorrow to see how the plants will react" and continue...I come to the site and I have something to see...all the plants, but all, some more, some less, but the leaves were massacred blue, black, purple, there were all colors, everything was there, but the least healthy leaves, as if I had sprayed them with the biggest poison, I think that even in that case they would have passed better... was it the product itself or the sun that was strong during the day (I sprayed them at night and the nights were around 18 C in the coldest part of the night, so they had time to dry, it's not that they couldn't dry, but it all stuck to sheets, it was all shining, I think they could see how bright it was from the plane, but literally... I removed almost 50% of the leaf mass from some plants, from some smaller ones... the tips that were supposed to grow and be ready for a new topping just started, so they had stopped completely for a couple of days literally... the situation is now as you can see in the pictures, there are a few leaves that appeared after spraying with that product, and it is still appearing, but very little, just, just, and this there was no point in leaving the leaves that I plucked because they were completely destroyed, I have never seen them in my life... The site I bought it on said that the preparation was organic and completely safe, nowhere did it say that it can literally kill the plants, not even on the preparation itself... I am very sad about this, I have been spraying them with clean water every morning before sunrise since it appeared and the tops have slowly started to grow, this crap is appearing less and less, and I have no more leaves where should I remove it, I would just kill the plants... I hope they will recover (except for one plant that is in a critical condition and the automatics that were sprayed are also in a very critical condition, they are young and will hardly survive this) but if not, I have another white runtz that is not in the diary, it is a little more than 3 weeks old, so I will transplant it into 200 liters of soil, so at least something will come out... I feel very sorry for the plants, I already have enough money invested, and this is also my therapy, cultivation heals me… I'm very angry with the people who sold it to me, and they didn't warn me about such a thing, if it's not written on the bottle itself and on the website, and I've been buying from them for years and they know what I'm growing... the product is not cheap, I paid money for something that will kill my plants, fuck... I mean, fuck money, I feel sorry for the plants, but you understand what I'm saying... I'm also angry at those who put the product on the market in the first place, and I would say all kinds of things I did it, but it's better to keep quiet... and mostly I'm angry with myself because I believed what it says and didn't check the product, like the biggest amateur... But what's here is now, let's move on... Today is the 57th day of the plant's life, yesterday was the end of the eighth week. Watering is now more frequent, every 3-4 days, it depends, the heat is already high, today it was at least 40 C in the shade, the forecast says 35. Since the last update, the plants were fed once and for the first time after transplanting, this morning most of them were fed for the second time, the next watering or two will be with clean water. Stay High and Keep Growing!!! Growers, please avoid this crap, the product is called " SMC Spidermite Control" This crap seems to have been imported from Ukraine, from chernobyl directly, not from UK lol Only Positive Vibes Stay High and Keep Growing!!!

I was a little late on my transplant which is why you are seeing the deficiency towards the bottom of my plant. They out grew the solo cups and were ready for more room and more nutrients will be excited to see how they bounce back this coming week. They seemed to loved that transplant and things are on the up and up just need some time to acclimate to new pot and root system was given some mykos in order to promote root development.

Day 70. Last week of nutrients. Flushing will begin before this week is over actually. Next three waterings will in general be like this: 1: 4ml Bloom + 1ml Green Sensation 2: 3ml + 1ml Green Sensation 3: Flush from there so only pure PH water. ———————— But there is a plan for each of the 4 Bananas. The Biggest will start flush quickest. And the healthiest will get nutrients for the longest since its behind the others and acting more like a sativa. Sadly, im forced to harvest all at once. And right now, I think it will be around 7 november. _____________________ I have harvested 4 topshoots of the plant I named "the biggest" since they were pretty much done and then the buds under can devolop better. I left 4-6 other tops though which were further away from the center of the light. Just to see how they progress in comparison with the ones I took down. The ones I harvested today, was not fully flushed, so i will also compare that to the other topshoots which will get a full flush before the harvest of "the big" plant. _______________________ The Big: around 10 days left - Flushing started The small: Around 10 days left - Flushing started The Bushy: around 10-14 left - Flushing in 5 days the Healthy: around 14 days left (minimum) Ideally more like: 3 weeks - Flushing in 7 days ATM my plan is to harvest it all latest by 7-10 november.

Plants really very resistant and above all resinous.. I'm sorry not to have even posted the vegetative phase, it will be for next time.. With them I used a substrate filled for about half with light-mix cocomix perlite humus guano kalong ( bloom) mycorrhite ..the upper part only Light-mix with perlite coconut.. In the vegetative phase I gave them only the root juice the few nutrients already present in the light-mix.. The light that I used is a 205w Black-dog phytomax 2-200.. The total of the light must be subdivided as well as their two also another Peyote C. n ° 2 LSD autoflowering (for the whole first month of flowering) n ° 3Cookies Kush (in the last two weeks).. So the final weight in flowers has probably been affected enough ...but the quality is the quantity of the resin and it was really exceptional .. Vaporizer test (mighty / ghosmv1) 180/185/190 °..taste on the classic line of kush, but with sweet notes of vanilla, coffee in mix with an earthy and pungent base, but not persistent.. Very good ... Relaxing effect but not by "locking sofa".. Mind quite clear and focused..like good kush .. Of Critical has taken a lot in the structure of the plant, but also a little bit in the flavor with some fresh" notes "referable to some fruit like mango / lemon, just a pinch.. I think it is suitable for making extractions.. With secondary peaks and resin-laden leaves I will most likely make a coconut oil, to eat alone or in a mix where I happen to be.. Strain recommended for everyone .. Excellent for beginners.. Thanks for reading.. 🙏🌱😊

Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag plus. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. Sometime around day 21 is when I will begin to introduce some nutrients, I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag plus. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

I was flushing all the plants since August 9. You can see in the videos with de microscope ( I really try my best, but it was pretty difficult) the trichomes looks cloudy and some of them looks amber. Maybe in the videos you can't see it because my hand was really shaky. August 17: all the plants were in dark. August 18: i cleaned all the plants, buds, leafs, everything..., spraying water to remove the rests of potasic soap. Today august 18, during the nigth, i'm going to harvest all the ladies. In the past 3 days i didn't watering the plants and the smell was stronger. August 19: Before dry -Critical Kush: 150g -Red dwarf: 60g -Syrup (2 plants): 270g -Lemon (4 plants): 570g

July 11: ouch. A hail storm went through in the afternoon and shredded things pretty hard. Big old fan leaves were ripped apart while smaller leaves are fine. She will recover but it’s a bummer of a setback.
