This has been a week of consequential stretch to stress the least! Some girls are about done stacking inches and some still got about a week more worth of elongating. Took a calculated risk heavily defoliating and lollipopping them mid-stretch which they seem to have withstood with no issues whatsoever. I’m starting to smell fruit also. Reminds me of my old neighbourhood’s Jamba Juice aroma that lingered around the block in the morning when you knew they were busy squeezing those tropical fruits by the carload!

This week has been good for this group girls, they are awaiting room to get moved into 1 gallon pots. In the next couple days will fill up flower 1 and the room will have more space. These girls love their environment they are constantly happy plants. Just all standing their proud! 💧: They recieve about 125 ml of food every 2 days like clock ⏰️ work. Keep the ph around 5.6-5.7 and they all just seem toblove it. Stay up

So... It's that time again, I was planning on keeping her going for another 11 days but the trichomes are telling me differently, they are around 10% amber, with 70% cloudy and 20% clear. Personally, I like slightly speedy highs, and not such a fan of couch lock. So, she will be chopped in 4 days time (D121 - F74). I have cut back the nutrients, water is around 500ppm now, leaves on the top of the canopy are yellowing. The pistols have turned a pinky brown, and there is a real difference in smell these past few days, proper heavy dank smell. I will be swapping out the water for a final flush on D118 - F71. She will be in the dark for for the last 48 hours and temps will stay at 16ºc. She will be wet trimmed, a cola at a time, and then hung in my grow room in the dark at 55% RH and approx 14 - 16ºc. I will post one last flowering week once she is hung up in 6 days time or so, and then will post harvest details once she's dry enough to go into jars. Happy growing all!

So after my 29th April update last week, I have only given ph’d water, I do have some nutrient burn but hoping that I can sort this out over the next few days, it’s my 1st issue I’ve had but my own doing due to giving too many nutrients as not reading properly. In a way am pleased because I won’t be making that mistake again. I did take a couple of huge fan leaves off that I considered “light blocking” on day 18 and she seems to have recovered well. Other than that it has been a good week.

Plants smell amazing, and seem too like the banana juice. Will continue to use stash blend as well for the next week or two.

I'm continuing the feed schedule of six, 15 minute feeds daily and am leaving the nutrient level at 900ppm. The HLG 650R is now at 100% output, and is hung 28" from the canopy. I'm keeping a close eye on all of them, looking for the first signs of flower. I also am diligently tucking shade leaves away daily trying to get some light down into the plants. 11/3- Yesterday I decided to do a little bit of defoliation, removing the largest shade leaves on all three which really helped with light penetration. Today all of the plants looked none worse for the wear, and as spunky as ever! 11/5- All three plants are now in flower, I have done LST on all three, tying down branches with horticulture wire. I've also done some defoliation on each plant as they got extremely bushy and were getting zero light down into the lower sections of them. All have responded extremely well to the training and are looking great! Tomorrow I will empty and clean the reservoir along with the 'brain bucket' as the water has really gotten funky and has an odor that I don't like. Going forward, I'm going to be doing weekly changes on the reservoir where I'll empty/clean/refill and add fresh nutrients. In between changes I'll just be topping off the reservoir with straight water and only checking the PH. 11/7- There goes the first week of flower for the FastBuds Strawberry Gorilla's and they're all looking pretty darn good, all things considered. This plant was a BEAST! Flowers came on fast and thick. A few colas were over 5" across at the widest point. I pushed the PPM's to see what she'd take and she ate 1600 PPM's without flinching, not even a little tip burn. One of the most beautiful and heavy budding plants I've ever grown. A genetic gem for sure.
