I feel like I really identify with this strain. This is only the second one I've grown but I can read her well. If you think you've got a green pheno, try dropping your nitrogen and your temps to trigger her genetics (epigenetics) to influence her phenotype. This girl is almost done. She's right on schedule. Her trichomes are about 90% cloudy. I'll let her hit up to 20% oxidized. She's fattening up nicely. Her bud structure is much different than the first Blackberry, she's much more solid/ dense.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 13th Feb 2020 The LST seems to have been a success as the plant remains healthy and seems to be growing the way I would like it to. I'm only going to give her one more week of extra light hours with the LED, and then she can stay outside, where she can transistion into Flowering Naturally. The plant seems to have a lot of it's mothers (Fastbuds GSC) looks to it, and the stem smell when rubbed is fairly similiar too. 1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. 6/29 - 4 days after I gave everyone the compost tea, the Jack Herers have sprung back to life! The compost tea was a literal life saver. Just a few days later and her leaves have smoothed out, there's virtually none of that glossy, dark green, twisted and gnarled growth. They are looking great! 6/30 - Top dressed all with Uprising Grow and Uprising Foundation 7/1 - Today I did a little selective defoliation on the Jacks. They are looking stronger and stronger each day. 7/2 - Today was feeding day. Gave them a dose of their regular nutrients. They are very happy! 7/3 - Added some red wigglers today! I ordered some Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim's Worm Farm and they arrived today. I added about 10 to each pot then moistened the soil a bit with just RO water pH to 6.6. I can't wait to watch them do their thing!

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. Day 28 Flowering: Hi all. Another week passes and the bud building goes on. Red hot cookies is a beautiful little bonsai still tiny but looks such a great colour on the Purples . Sods law that they are this pheno so early on. Sweed Afghani Delicious is still building herself up into a long cola. She took a lot of damage early on. Amnesia Haze is a whole different picture. She has begun forming some nice thick stacked colas that have a minty sweet smell to them now as does the whole room.lol Her buds are nice and compact with close nodes forming a whole tip to base cola. Health is looking good but a lighter green is noticable now as she feeds from the soil. I added a feed of Megacrop to see how this could help , also gave a little calmag too as i noticed a couple of tell tale rust spots. I am so impressed with this strain and can only wait to see the end results she can put out. Thanks for the visit. be safe.

Supercropped one tall branch of the Red Mandarine #2. Hope it doesn't hurt the yields. Plants have been recovering and are mostly green now. There's some serious stretch going on in this tent! Flowering is happening really quick especially with the Mandarines. I moved the lights after I discovered a lux meter app. I had as low as 10,000 in some places, so not only are the lights closer to the canopy but I angled them to get more light down to the shorter plants. Just reset the clone fridge and they were all looking healthy except two which I didn't put enough water in.
